I have doctor Shua as my dentist and Tracy as my hygienist for many years. They are both very professional and carefull of what they're doing during the check up and cleaning. They are both very kind and make sure you are okay. The staff are very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend them.

I've been going frequently due to avoiding dental visits for years. All of the staff are welcoming and know all about me and my needs even if they haven't worked with me before. If I have a new hygeinist I know I can trust them to understand my needs and to make sure that I am comfortable. They are flexible with times, understand anxiety, friendly with patients and with each other. They are flexible with booking times and send out an amazing amount and variety of reminders; email, postcards and personal telephone calls where they will ask if you'd like even more reminders. This is greatly appreciated by someone like me. My only concern is that I never have time to read my book in the waiting room because they are so prompt. :)

I had to go for an emergency call. When I called, the receptionist was very kind, helpful and very accommodating, she got me in right away. I mean within 20 minutes. I had to see another dentist, Dr. Desai, he was great, but I found out that I have to get my tooth pulled. I was really hoping to get it done right away but was too close to closing. They had no availability until Tuesday, but too much pain. They were able to fit me in tomorrow with another dentist.

My kids have been going to Memorial Dental for two plus years. At first I was hesitant as I have one child on the spectrum and he doesn’t like to be touch, lights and noise. The staff at Memorial dental was amazing with him, he now goes in on his own and leaves a happy guy! I have not had the best experience with other dentists, but Dr. Desai changed that for me. He knew I had some anxiety and he took his time and explained everything to me. Tracey did my cleaning and she was amazing, she explained everything, she was organized and efficient. I definitely recommend Memorial Square dental.

I have notice last 3 times that dr chua is rushing, On her patients, Puts you down when you have dental concern when you ask or discuss issues. It’s not a good thing when you know your dentist over 20 years. But other then that she is great and gentle.

I am now on my third dentist at the same clinic and the service has remained great. If I have any issues, they are quick to address them. If there is a mix up with my insurance, they figure it out. I really like their commitment to keeping it pain free. The hygienist is thorough and gentle. Overall, very professional.

Everyone hates going to the dentist. At memorial square dental they try to change that feeling. They have a great atmosphere, with wonderful dentists and hygienists. They even have televisions that you can watch while getting worked on, it can help relieve some of the anxiety around visiting the dentist. Their location is easy to find and has lots of parking. I appreciate what they do to create a comfortable safe space. I enjoy chatting with my hygienist when I see her and we've become friends. I love Memorial Square Dental and I'm sure you will too.

My visit at memorial dental center was very professional and efficient. I had multiple serious cavities worked on by Dr. Jomha and it all went very well! He’s an incredibly calm, respectful and polite person who makes you feel at ease in the dental chair. His assisting staff are equally comforting. Their rates are better when comparing around the city yet there is no loss of service, I will gladly return for more work. As a matter of fact I think Dr. Jomha is my new dentist! I went on website to look solution for my severe pain in my teeth, there was a phone number for emergency contact after office hours. I called that # but after few rings it went to voice mail and then after a brief introduction of their clinic computer gave me a different phone number for emergency. But no one answered that phone too even no call back.

Two weeks ago, I started the Invisalign treatment with an orthodontist clinic. The first week, I started experiencing unbearable pain. I knew it was normal to have “ some “ pain but didn’t expect it to be this bad. I tried to tough it out as it was the holidays and I just thought I was overreacting. Unfortunately, it got to the point where I couldn’t sleep, drink, eat, swallow, or open my mouth. IM TERRIFIED of dentists (due to an awful experience 2 years ago) but I ended up at an emergency dentist that said my Invisalign were not filed properly and off I went. They didn’t prescribed me anything but I knew deep down it was not normal so I decided to go to another dentist the next day. I found Memorial Square Dental clinic and called to see if they could take me as a new patient as my last dentist visit was 2 years Ago. I spoke to Joni, who was super helpful, so kind and patient with me. She help me through the whole booking process and they were able to see me the same day! Beautiful office, clean and tidy. Everyone is so nice and understanding. I was seeing by Dr. Desai and his assistant Karen! He was able to get to the root of my problem.. I had an infection! He prescribed me medication and also let me know I had a cavity (which I’m not sure how the orthodontist clinic did not catch that even though they took x-rays). Thankfully the meds helped and I needed to pull my bottom wisdom teeth out so I had an appointment scheduled. My anxiety was off the roof but thankfully they both made me feel very comfortable. The oral surgery was actually not as bad as I thought. I went home and two hours later, I thought I was bleeding too much so I called them to see if they can see me for a couple of minutes to make sure everything is fine. I was there within 5 mins, Dr Desai reassured me everything is looking good so I went home and rested for the evening. Thank you! My experience with this office has been the greatest so far! Keep up the good work! I’ll be referring anyone I know! See you at my next appointment!

The people in this dental clinic are awesome! I felt comfortable as soon as I walked in the building with my son! Lots of protections in place due to covid (gowns, face masks, face shields, lots of plexiglass barriers, and lots of room for social distancing), the place smelled of cleaners and sanitizers! We felt very safe in the building. And we will be going back there again and again! If we moved 2 hours out of the city, we would drive into the city just to come to this dental clinic.

The front staff is super friendly and all of the hygienists I’ve come across have been nothing but kind and extremely professional. I used to hate going to the dentist but they have changed my perspective entirely. They take the time to explain the procedures prior to commencing, and check in throughout the appointment to make sure you are ok. I also love that they have taken extra precautions to ensure the safety of staff and clients during the Covid 19 pandemic. I moved to the Deep South end of the city 2 years ago, but still go out of my way to be a client here. I would highly recommend them.

I went to see Dr. Iju Chuah to have a white filling replaced in my front teeth. Outstanding service from her and her team as I was put at ease immediately and was highly impressed with her ensuring that she got the best colour match possible (tried 4-5 different colours in total). She then tidied the bottom edge of my bite where the tooth was uneven. I booked in immediately to have a second incisor reshaped cosmetically based upon this experience.

Tracey is the best! She is always really helpful when I come in and carries on a conversation that can be answered (mostly) with your mouth wide open lol! I have been coming to this dentist's office for years, unfortunately the dentist I was seeing just left, but I have an appointment with the lady who took over her patients, and met her. They start charging like crazy my insurance is covering 90% but on my each family visit they are charging more then $100 when asked they said your insurance is not covering the portion which they worked told them why did I not told me before my visit they don't have answer I removed my self from this dentist as this is not the professional approach I feel robbed so no more visit this place in future need honest people

The receptionist didn’t record the information of my general dentist that I gave her on the phone and after I arrived the doctor asked me again about their contact details and the history of my X-rays, the Indian doctor gave me Amoxil as antibiotic because of root canal inflammation and he didn’t even want to check my tooth up as I was pregnant. The antibiotic didn’t work at all and I still have unbearable pain. I had to change the clinic with more experienced doctors.

Dr Chua and Karen literally bent over backwards to work on a cavity in a very small area in my back bottom left molar to save a crown and a significant dental cost for a new crown. They succeeded in trying different processes in a stubborn area complicated by bleeding. I am forever grateful for their skill and persistence in this challenging dental procedure and making the whole experience a pleasant one.

As someone who grew up fearing dentists and having bad experience after bad experience, I no longer cringe at the thought but look forward to having my teeth cleaned and checked. The staff are cheerful, welcoming and always willing to go out of their way to help in any way possible. The techs are amazing and offer really great advise on how to clean those hard to reach places plus Dr. Chuah is an amazing dentist and has completely gotten rid of my dentist phobia. Even though I was super late to my appointment; Dr.Chuah was very understanding and her work is always amazing. she covered the discolouration on my tooth and it looks so great, I'm very happy with it. Been to this dentist since I was a kid, and even though I live on the other side of the city; I will continue to go and bring my children to Dr. Chuah as well. Would've been 5 stars but I've had one of the lady's hang up on me when asking if I was still coming to my appointment; after I had called and said I was going to be late. Also someone had entered in to the system that I had used all my coverage after being there once. Which was obviously a mistake but I've had to explain that I had only done (x) number of things under that coverage and that was NOT equal to the allotted amount several times. Especially after only one cleaning.

Friendly, warm and welcoming !!! All the front end staff were sunny, pleasant and quick to greet me with a smile. They were most efficient and made ease of the paperwork. I felt very comfortable under Dr. Chua and Karen's care as they were very friendly, kind and informative. My son's first visit here was playful and amusing, all the staff put extra care introducing him to the play area and treating him like a king. The personal entertainment in each room made the difference in my visit as well as my choice of coffee or hot chocolate as a "treat". My family and I will definitely return to Dr. Chua's office in the future.

I always enjoy coming to this office for my dental appointments. All doctors and staff are friendly, kind and knowledgeable. Just out of curiosity, should the filipino lady wearing the yellow gown be sitting at the reception front desk? Wouldn't that be considered unsanitary, spreading bacteria around? I ask because everyone else who wears the gowns are working in the back rooms, but she seems to be always sitting there, doing what, I don't know.

This is NOT an emergency dental service. They promise to "respond to your email within 24 to 48 hours" and then book your appointment. Then, when you do go, you usually need to wait in their waiting room for an hour or two. I never did see the dentist, I found another one in a different part of the city.

I would never go back to this place, or recommend anyone to go. I had my crown done at this clinic. Few days before my appointment, I had no idea what time is it, how long it is going to take and when's the second appointment; all I knew was my first appointment is on Jan 3. When I spoke with Joni to booked in my appointments by the end of November, I asked her if she can send me all those informations in an email. She never sent them to me, so I phoned the clinic on dec 28. Joni picked up the phone, I told her I haven't received her email. After few mins of conversation, she snapped at me and said:"you already said 4 times you didn't get my email." Clearly, she didn't want to admit that she didn't follow up with me. She checked her own email box and general email box of clinic, she rudely said: "oh I didn't send then. Do you want me to send again?!" As I patient, I don't think I've asked too much from them. The process of crown installation was a bump road with them too. But Dr. Ezati is extremely nice. We had to book extra appointment due to my first lab crown didn't fit good. At the front desk, I had the "honour" to see Joni again, after she booked my appointment, she asked me: "do you WANT me to send personal email to you THIS TIME?" How immature and unprofessional service is this? I do not deserve this insult from her as a patient nor as a customer!! If you still want to get your dentist work down at this clinic, good luck!

Dr. Chuah is super nice, and makes every visit stress free. On top of that, the quality of work she does is excellent. She was able to replace a dodgy filling (done at a different practice), with no freezing - I hate freezing- and no pain!

I was in Calgary on vacation with my family. We were headed out of town for a 10 day RV trip and I got a toothache under a molar crown. I was concerned that I was headed to areas with no services and it was a Friday. Google determined that Memorial Square Dental has a 4.8 rating, which was reassuring to me because I know no dentists in Calgary. When I called, the staff was warm, accommodating and very helpful. I was given two times the doctor could see me the very same day The office is new and spotless. The dental assistant (Lan) was compassionate and friendly. Dr. Chuah is the best dentist I have been to - period. And I am 67 years old. I have seen a lot of dentists. She was very gentle. She explained exactly what she was doing. She provided me with lots of information about my situation and gave me two prescriptions I could fill “in case” my situation worsened. I left feeling so much better, and so reassured. I would give this office six stars if I could !!

I attended this dentist for routine cleaning which Monda did a wonderful job. My teeth never bothered me and I had no dental issues. Two weeks ago Dr. Jomana Badran did three fillings in a row on three teeth which never gave me any problems prior (I was told prior to sitting down they were only doing two). Ever since I can no longer chew on that side of my mouth because the pain is unbearable. I requested x-rays to show why it was necessary to work on these teeth (she was grinding /drilling on them for over an hour). The x-rays that were sent to me were irrelevant images that didn't identify any problem areas for the teeth in question. Dr.Jomana Badran is not to be trusted and she is an incompetent hack! I will now be going to a dentist to fix problems she created. Make sure the meal you have before you go to this dentist is a good one because it might be your last! If your teeth aren't bothering you avoid the dentist no matter how much they harass you to come in for a "check up". Merle
