The dentist is great and other staff is great. The hygienist is horrible. This place called us every three months after our first visit harassing us to come in, when I finally went in for my second visit with them the hygienist had reviewed with me what she was going to do. I knew X-rays would not be covered again as I had just had them done within the year so I let her know not to do anything that was not covered under my benifits. She had the nerve to respond with “your benefits do not dictate your oral health” That’s nice her benifits don’t dictate hers but she had ZERO place to try and imply I would be paying for work that was not covered by my benifits. I had to put up a fight to get the situation sorted out. The dentist had come in and let me know I was booked in early and that he would not charge me for the X-rays. They hygienist then proceeded to clean my teeth....clearly she took her anger out on me while she did this because my gums had inflamed and sore for 2 days after. After the cleaning the hygienist told me she was “disappointed in how I spoke to her” Yes I guess when someone stands up for themselves and the fact she’s trying to push work not covered by benifits it would be pretty disappointing to not get the extra sales. Now because of this girls poor customer service and horrendous attitude they have lost three clients. As she tried to do the same thing to my husband the week prior. He did not end up getting the X-rays. I am truly disgusted of how this woman handled herself. How she thinks she has ANY type of right to tell clients “benifits don’t dictate your oral health” for many people they do and the fact she tried to make someone feel bad for that is revolting.

This has been one of the best dental experiences I have ever encountered. I'm so happy I can call Bridgeland Dental Care my dentist office. Though I've only been for one visit so far, all of the staff have been extremely genuine and friendly. After my checkup with Dr. Wiedemann went quicker than anticipated, the hygienist, Shelley, scheduled to clean my teeth delayed her lunch so that she could get me on my way rather than have me waiting around. I absolutely hate the cleaning part, but this time I felt like I was catching up with an old friend rather than getting tortured!

I hadn't gone to the dentist in almost a decade and finally got the motivation to go this month. I went to Bridgeland Dental Care because I was impressed with all the reviews I read online. And they certainly lived up to my expectations. My first visit I saw Manny and one of the assistants, Sam; they were both so great and didn't make me feel at all bad for it being so long since going to the dentist. I had a few follow up appointments with Dr. Wiedemann and both him and his assistant Jess made me feel so comfortable I almost enjoyed going to the dentist. My wife made an appointment here. Then she asked them if their staff was vaccinated. They refused to say if they were. Who would want a finger in their mouth by someone who might be a carrier? Why do we have vaccine passports when dentists cant assure us that their staff have been vaccinated?

Just booked in an appointment after a couple of years of not seeing the dentist. I was booked in quickly for a 2 hour checkup and cleaning. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. Dr. Wiedemann went through the x-rays and checkup with me and was refreshingly thorough about the condition of my mouth. I ended up with a couple of cavities and they mentioned they had an appointment open up just an hour later if I wanted it. So I stuck around and had the fillings done the same day! I know this is not the norm and the summer holidays was to my benefit but either way it was an awesome experience. Highly recommend if you are looking for a new dentist. :)

After going to my previous clinic for 30 years and them over billing me I decided it was time for a change. I searched for online reviews and it led me to Bridgeland Dental Care. Bridgeland Dental Care has a team of caring professionals that see you and your dental health are well cared for. The frontline staff are organized and always happy to explain any questions you have with your fees. The dentist is very good and manages to keep you at ease throughout your appointment. One of the main reasons I keep coming back is my hygienist is very personable and fun to chat with; not to mention she is great at her work. The location is convenient, very central, close to other shops and there is ample street parking. Oh and, they have TV's mounted to the ceiling for you to watch during your appointment! THANKS!

I have limited dental insurance and their team are always really good about making sure I have the information for any procedures (xrays, possible appliances) so I can check coverage. 10/10 would recommend.

I had originally made an appointment with Pinnacle Dental across the street from Bridgeland Dental, but Pinnacle had triple-booked the appointment time. Dr. Brescia at Pinnacle made a call to her partner Dr. Broyde over at Bridgeland and asked if he had any room to fit me in that day. It turns out that Dr. Brescia owns both dental offices, so she was able to send me across the street for an appointment three hours later. My experience at Bridgeland Dental was very positive and pleasing. The dental assistant (I apologize - I don't remember her name at this time) was extremely friendly and bubbly, and made me feel very welcome, unlike other dentist offices that tend to make you feel like an inconvenience and try to rush you in and out. The dental assistant offered to have the TV on while I waited in the chair to get started (ended up being maybe 3-5 minutes), and once we got started, she made extra sure she got the colour-match of the filling just right before we went ahead with the procedure. I felt very much involved in the appointment, and it felt like she very much cared about how the procedure went and really wanted me to be happy with the end result. Dr. Broyde did the procedure very well and professionally - he even joked with me about "dental talk" when his sales rep came in to ask a question, because he noticed that I may have felt ignored when having side-conversations while doing the procedure. I have had so many times where the dentist just talks to the dental assistant about their plans for the weekend, making it feel like you're just a part of their paycheck and day's work. I originally had a procedure done at another dentist's office about 7 months ago, and I made a point to ask if they could smooth and shape the filling with my feedback about how it felt (since the previous dentist's office didn't even take that step initially, causing the filling to fall out and having to go back to get it re-done the next week). Dr. Broyde reassured me that he was about to do so - it's nice to know your dentist keeps you involved throughout the appointment and makes sure you are happy with the end result! Once the procedure was done, he even came back when I noticed a rough spot as I was about to leave, so he spent the extra time to make sure I was 100% satisfied before moving on to his next patient. Once I got home, my wife right away mentioned how good of a job they did, and how you couldn't even tell there was a filling there (whereas the previous dentist's office left noticeable signs of a procedure having been done, perhaps to improper polishing/colour matching). Thank you Dr. Broyde and your dental assistant team! You have found a new customer in me with your exceptional service and your desire to make sure your patients feel valued and involved in the process.

I have nothing to say but great things. I had to switch dentists when I moved to the NE and this office is close by and has hours that work well with my work schedule. I have been able to book appointments last minute and not have to wait for weeks to get in. The staff is courteous, professional and efficient. The dentist here is patient, answers all of my questions (and I always have a lot) and has made coming to the dentist slightly less of a chore than it usually is. They also direct bill - which some offices don't - and it saves a lot of hassle and stress! All in all, a great dentist, great staff and you leave with great teeth!

Dentist and dental hygienists are great. However, reception and administrator were very rude and not helpful. They double booked me for a cleaning and cancelled my appointment even though I am leaving for my wedding the day after. Instead of assisting me in resolving this or letting my speak to someone above their administrator who could resolve my issue, they refused to let me speak to anyone else or assist further in getting an appointment.

As somebody with an extremely high anxiety level and bad teeth, a visit to the dentist was something I was avoiding... but not since I have been a patient of Manny, the dental hygienist who is absolutely awesome, and Dr. Wiedemann, who is excellent and very professional. I would highly recommend this dental office, my 5yo son is already looking forward to his teeth tickling appointment, and I find it easy to schedule appointments around our busy lives as the office's schedule is very flexible (early morning and evening appts). This is like the third dentest ive been to. Sundridge dental pumped root canal chemicals into my sinus cavity and didnt care. Maxwell dental is for the rich and there just after money and if you have old silver fillings dont bother going there. Bridgeland dental though is the best. Ive had a lot of work done in the last 2 months and i gotta tell ya im glad i found them. There friendly and know what there doing. They had to change so many of my old fillings that i didnt know needed to be done because maxwell dental wouldnt touch them unless i paid them a grand out of pocket to do it. So ya if ya need a great dentist head up to brideland dental, you will be glad ya did. And stay away from the other 2 places i mentioned. Hope this helps ya to decide.....

I'm a little concerned about the technician I worked with. I was supposed to be there ten minutes early to fill in some information, and I was there only about 5 minutes before my appointment, but I filled in my form very quickly only to find that she had disappeared, and did not reappear until after my scheduled appointment time. She then rushed through X-rays, leaving the machine jiggling, and had to redo one because it was blurry. On top of that, the computer on the full head scan apparently froze just after she had got me into position, so I had to wait for that a bit longer than expected, and it seemed like she had to rush taken photos in my mouth as well.

I have been a patient of Bridgeland Dental care for over three years and I’ve always had a good experience. I am somewhat of a difficult patient with very low pain tolerance and all my procedures have been quick, pain free and excellent quality. Dr. Wiedemann provides high quality care and is so efficient with his procedures. I have never felt post procedure pain or had any issues with my root cancel, crown, cavities or cleanings. The staff team is also equally as great, Sam and Manny are excellent and always check in throughout the procedures and aim to make sure you are as comfortable as possible. And Tina, she greets you immediately and always makes you feel welcome in the office! She creates a fast and efficient billing process as well. By far the best dental clinic I’ve been too in Calgary!

I had a tricky filling replacement. It took some effort and creativity to make it work due to the size and location. After the procedure the dentist explained the process as well as potential issues and how it can be repaired should it occur years down the road. Numbing went well so no issues with discomfort during the procedure. Direct billing seamless. Good appointment notifications via email and text. Under the former dentist I’ve had good referrals for implants and gum issues and they also did my Invisilign with successful results.

We originally went here as my daughter needed a new dentist, and after seeing how well they took care of her I decided to go there as well. The assistants and hygienists are all professional but still personable, and Dr Wiedemann is great: he works quickly but is very thorough, and he makes sure everything is perfect before you leave. I've never been kept waiting more than a few minutes before an appointment, and they have an option to send email or text notifications, which I find useful too. I'd recommend to anyone.

My 2 little ones have no fears thanks to their incredible team. As a mama bear my concerns are always met in a timely manner and with great patience and care. This dentist charges way too much for everything they do. Not only is it so overprices that even my good benefits can't cover the whole cost of a simple cleaning they also have no consideration for how often your benefits can accommodate cleanings. These guys will ask you to come back no later than three months since your last cleaning which is clearly a money grab, nobody else I've spoken with goes for cleanings this often. They also did a 12 month recall exam 3 months early so guess what...I was left paying for the dentist who basically looked at my teeth for literally 2 minutes. This place is a serious joke. Don't go here if you're only planning on only using benefits to cover the dental work. Most dentists actually look at what you're covered for and accommodate accordingly. This is a money hungry joint and It might be more worth it for me to sell my house, go to dental school become a dentist or dental hygienist and clean my own teeth rather than keep going to this place. Adios.

I got a referral to this dentist by a good friend who said the dentist and hygienists were really good and very friendly. The receptionist, however, was so rude to me, talked about me in a derogatory manner to the other receptionist as I sat two feet away and told me I was being disrespectful by leaving after she told me she didn't have time to call my insurance company to find out whether I had coverage. She never acknowledged me when I came in and stood directly in front of her and gave me an "UGH, you don't know??" when I explained that I had recently received new insurance and was unsure of the coverage. She told me that it's "not her job". I hope they can find better receptionists if they intend on getting new patients and keeping the ones they have.
