Really disappointed !! Not worth it go somewhere else Every time I went the dentist was rushing to do everything she could in a short amount of time which caused issues for me each time. Like filling not being sealed completely or not being able to properly floss. The last time I went I was getting 2 fillings done at the back of my mouth. They managed to rip my lips and also around my lips. I was also scratched on the face because the dr was in such a hurry and didn’t realize how close she was to my face I’m assuming. I called the manager to tell her what happened. She told me she would call me back, she did not ! She got the dentist to call me. The dentist could have sincerely appologized and everything would have been fine as things happen. She was very inscincere and didn’t even apologize until I questioned her about her actions. I hung up not feeling good. I messaged the manager who promised to call me back- no call back a week later I get a call to confirm my appt where I explained I wasn’t sure if I wanted to as I was still awaiting for a call. I was promised a call from manager. Yet again no call. Honestly it’s not what happens it’s how you handle it. This issue was not handled well and shows that this place is only worried about the money in dental work and when issues arise they don’t care about patients.

This newly constructed dentist office is bright and spacious. There are a few televisions in the waiting area and a dedicated children's area. The magazine collection is kept current. The overall feeling is very comfortable. The front reception staff and the dental staff have always been polite, attentive and gentle! I personally appreciate the level of explanation and detail I receive when asking questions about procedures. I have always found the dentists to be patient and precise in conversation. The balance of my family, including children now count Beddington Dental Clinic as their dentist. I think part of the attraction is the emphasis on servicing your immediate, basic needs. I've experienced other offices where it seems the focus is on selling vanity services and expensive procedures. As part of a community mall, there is plenty of parking outside. The facility is wheel chair accessable. Washrooms are on site as well.

This place truly saved my teeth! When i first started going here about a year ago, the dentists and hygienists took extra time to explain the issues i was having. Dr. Bueckert does amazing cosmetic work, but the whole staff in general is top notch. Not sure what i will do if i ever leave Calgary.

The hygeinest was very very gentle. Making sure I was ok. So was dr.wong and her assistant. I will go back for the completion of my cleaning. For they were so awsome.

I had to make a last minute appointment for a very sensitive molar. Dr. Anderson and her lovely teammate Faria were absolutely fabulous at identifying and diagnosing the issue. Further, they solved the dental issue right there and then. No more pain or sensitivity. I will be registering my two children as new patients as a result of their gentleness, kindness, professionalism, and great dental chair-side manner. Worst experience ever after being a customer for 3 years, these people care more about what's in our packets than if you are happy and satisfied with their services, I'm not gonna say they are all bad, they do have good staff but the people behind them are blood suckers, Dr. Wong Promised if the denture doesnt work well at the end we will send it back to lab and get a refund, but the beddington clinic manager Kristen Pittman forced me to pay for it even if I'm not gonna be using it because it doesnt fit correctly and She litteraly was I don't care if doesnt work for you, you still have to pay us because we paid the lab, and I can confirm she is really excellent in winning arguments but not customers because she didnt even say we will help with that or make sure it will work for you, she showed no empathy at all, everything she cared for was money!!!, and this is the consequence of puting the wrong person in the right place, we are human being not wallets, and we work so hard for our money and so you have to do. my wife my 2 kids and other family members wont be going there anymore, thanks for your lies Answer to your response i know you are trying to correct what you had ruined and make clinic image looks better now than how you presented it. but let me tell you this, you are lying, yes you are!!! because you know if there is anyone who should complain and talk about patience it should be me, not you or your Dr. I'm the one who was dragged for 5 months not 3 months as you mentioned for a simple denture, you tried both your labs and none of them was able to get it done correctly, I had to go between your clinic and the lab more than 10 times for that denture. and last week you said you have to pay for it $400 either it fits or not, dont lie now and say if you didnt take it we wouldnt charge you. what have you done to me!? asking me to go back and forth, I'm the one who was patient enough, instead of going to a more professional clinic I kept giving you time for 5 months thinking that you will do it but at the end you disappointed me and you showed me how selfish you are. how do you think this would be professional by telling a customer we can't get you a correct denture and the one we got you may not work but still you have to pay us for it then you throw it in the garbage afterward. the most disgusting customer service I have ever had in my entire life, too much selfishness. and now after you forced me to pay you are telling me I can bring the denture back and you will give me a refund, you could do better and be nice from the begining, now it's too late, my dignity worths more than the $400 you stole from me, im saying it's stolen because you havent done the job and you asked to be paid for it. But I'm not gonna beg you to give me my money back, but I will get them back, because I'm filing a complaint against your clinic.

I won't be going back to this clinic. They charge way over the Alberta dental fee guide. I was charged over double for an appliance and over double the lab charge. I paid my "half" of what they said would be covered, I was a little bit out of it after having a difficult extraction and then having them shove all the moulding stuff into my mouth while I'm still bleeding. So I put my credit card down . Now they want more$$ from me. Ridiculous

And I believe did a decent cleaning in the time given.Dr Wong who previously removed all 4 my wisdom teeth did an excellent job I fully healed in just over 1 week but was almost pain free almost the next day and during the Procedure. I will never go back to this dentist!. They have lost all business from me and my family. After my Wife needed a implant procedure done. we were told at multiple times we would have to pay for the procedure in full before it would be submitted to insurance. We paid everything when asked but due to what I can only say as ineptitude by the admin staff, we were told we still owed money. When the procedure was complete they had us sign all the forms to send into insurance and they sent it in. On top of this we payed too much and have a $300 credit as the procedure ended up being cheaper. So our insurance paid the detest the covered amount and they have now sent it to the second insurance. This process has taken 2 months now. oh and they have around 800 dollars of our money and refuse to pay it out due to still roughly $550 is "owing" WTH we paid over the amount you needed and now you won't give us a credit based on monies still owing?! Now lets talk about customer service. Multiple times my wife has called for an explanation of this mess of a procedure. Each and every time she is made out to be the bad guy and it is our fault. really guys?! ever heard of a term called customer effort? You have made a painful and traumatic experience even worse. Today were told "you should have just submitted this yourself" I was at a loss of words. really?! now you suggest that AFTER you submitted it with out giving us that option 2 months ago! So let's encourage insurance fraud shall we?!. The agents have each and everyone of them been rude and condescending. We paid the procedure in full before it was done. We owe you nothing and you refuse to give us our money. Pretty sure my lawyer is getting a call if this is not resolved ASAP.

Now that I have found one at Beddington Dental I will be sticking with them even after I move away from the area. They have excellent service, with a right amount of reminders for my upcoming appointments, and they respect my time enough to not make me wait too long when I arrive for my appointments.

Great service I've been going here for 20+ years. They always have great dental hygienist and Doc's, always friendly, talkative, knowledgable. A few mishaps with the front office staff in the past with billing or schedule but with good customer service they have made things right so far. Update: fees are getting expensive even with 100% coverage still have to pay out of pocket.

Today I booked for check up at 10 am and manicure at 10:30 am. Yesterday (Friday) @ 8:47 am I called and through answering machine someone answer the phone and I asked her to cancel my check up only. She wrote a message to cancel my appointment. Again I mentioned I just want to cancel my check and keep my manicure appointment. At the end I asked if someone from the office can call me, she said ok someone will call you. NO ONE cantact me!!! Today I was here @10:20am and the receptionist told me both my appointments were canceled!!!!! She said the manicurist is fully booked today and she can’t do anything for me (for today). I got so upset the time that I put to get here. They might put someone not really professional to take the call and she didn’t care about the details that I told her!

Jason, my hygienist, was so kind - answered all of my questions and assured me that I didn't have any reason to feel embarrassed or ashamed about the fact that I hadn't had a dental cleaning in a very long time. He made me feel comfortable, accepted and valued as a patient! I had a follow-up exam with Dr. Chan and his assistant. Dr. Chan was also compassionate, knowledgeable and friendly (as was his assistant). The ladies at the front desk were efficient, detail orientated, and welcoming! It really was a wonderful experience! I look forward to future appointments!

Beddington dental clinic is the best dental office I have been to. they are very accommodating they put everything into getting the patient what they need they also have a nail technician to give you a free manicure every year. I have been to many clinics over the years and this one has been THE BEST by far. I have never had an issue with the running behind schedule! The staff members, whether it be doctor, assistant, hygienist, or reception give off a very caring family vibe that could make anyone comfortable! My children who are 6 and 10 have absolutely no fear of the dentist and enjoy all lessons that they have been taught by these professionals. As a matter of fact, one of my two kids once had to have fillings done which of course includes a needle being put in his mouth. I did not go into the room for the appointment and I was bracing myself thinking I was going to hear him scream from the lobby. My daughter and I waited for him for about 20 minutes and he came into the reception area with a big smile on his face! I was so impressed. My daughter on the other hand was a bit jealous after hearing about his experience. On our ride home, she asked "Mommy, when is it my turn to get fillings done?" :D My instinct was to say hopefully never but instead I just told her that if she ever needed any work done, she would be going back to the same place and leave just as happy as her brother. Amazing clinic! Highly recommended!

(Sept 2020 review) Another great experience at the dentist! My hygienist did a fantastic job, I truly noticed a difference in the cleanliness and whiteness of my teeth. Also, I noticed that their chapsticks (which are usually in a bowl at the front) are no longer there because of COVID, and I absolutely love those chapsticks, so I asked my hygienist about them and she happily went and grabbed me a couple! Thanks again! ???? (Oct 2019 review) The lady that helped me in the office was extremely positive and kind. My cleaning went quick and flawlessly. Has got to be one of the best Dental places I've ever been to. The people are really awesome yet professional, and they seem to actually care about you, as do the Doctors there. Dr. Tunesen (sry if i spelled that wrong) is hands down one of the kindest dentist I've ever met. He is wonderful with children, is very gentle in his approach with you regardless of age or gender, and he just gives you that feeling that you can trust him and he's looking out for you. Can't say you find a lot of that these days. Thank you Doc, to you and your staff, for your expert and caring assistance. It is appreciated and valued more than you know. My daughter had a couple of fillings done here 6 months ago which went fine, or so we thought. Today however she went back for an assessment of her wisdom teeth and was told her new fillings needed touching up at the cost of $400 for the 50 minutes it would take, because coverage was used up for the year. After calling them on this they have now offered to fix their own mistakes for no charge, how generous. What they seem to forget is that we take time from our busy day to go there and sit through what can be very painful and uncomfortable. Who wants to sit through a second round in the chair caused by an aging dentists mistakes? In my opinion this dental clinic suffers from a lack of proper administration and has at least one (aging) dentist that seems to do sub-par work.

January 2020 Another excellent visit. Gentle, effective cleaning from Miso. Very attentive service. I recommended Miso to a family member who has very sensitive gums. April 2019 update. I went to dr.cho for removal of 2 teeth as well as a filling for a cavity.. from the moment i got in to the chair the hygienist treated me like i was 12..i let it go because i figured its how she talks to everybody this way.. didn't bother me to much . when the dentist came in he was nice , chit chatted a small bit to me .. i thought everything was okay and he knew was he was doing.. but i was completely wrong.. the appointment when downhill immediately .. the dentist put two needles in without any numbing gel first which i specifically asked to have since i have horrible anxiety and panic attacks . as i fought through a panic attack .. the appointment continued .. and their was no care for my mouth.. he pulled and pulled .. and eventually had to put 4 more needles in my mouth because i was in so much pain.. i could feel way to much . . as the appointment went on i was extremely numb but i still fought through all the pain and figured this was part of getting my teeth removed .. when i left i was in so much more pain than normal .. usually within 2 days things are pretty much healed .. bleeding stops the first day and the stitches dissolve within a few days to a week .. but when i got home and the numbing wore off i was rolling in pain.. my jaw was completely swollen more than normal.. and i was bleeding all day for the first day.. I ended up going to the emergency room which the doctors had told me my jaw was fractured.. i had to be prescribed morphine for my pain but the pain did not go down.. it took another few weeks before i could eat again and even weeks later i'm still on pain meds for my jaw.. I'm deeply disappointed that a place that charged me $1000 for pulling two teeth and filling a cavity can do this to my face and not be liable.. before i signed their waver i told the hygienist that it looked scary and what if things happen .. she assured me that nothing would happen all the dentists in this practice are very professional.. i have had work done from other dentists in this practice who are amazing at what they do.. but this guy was way to rough .. and just kept filling my face with drugs and didn't care about how much i hated the dentist .. this guy only cares about his outrageous prices.. he needs to be more gentle with people..

Edit: I just got my wisdom teeth out and I gotta say I 100% recommend Dr. Jeong, he was very understanding of my anxiety, I just had the local anesthetic and the experience was probably the best outcome I could have asked for. It took him 12 minutes to remove 2 wisdom teeth, the next day later I'm not even on pain meds. Everything feels great. Thank you. I definitely have a fear of dentists but Dr. Cho and the staff are so great that it really has eased this problem for me. The office is clean, beautiful and overall has a very friendly environment. I had a cleaning done and the hygenist Angela was super sweet but super rough. I was there an hr and a hf and she only cleaned my bottom teeth so I needed to rebook. I was rebooked with Angela again (as I felt I might as well finish this cleaning with her) I got there and was booked with a different hygenist, no warning. She was very nice and more gentle and only took the normal half hour to clean the top I also did not need freezing with her. I found the dentist to be very rude and short and no bedside manner and I had many friends complain of her service so I never rebooked with them.

When I came in late August 2019 about a oral infection, Dr. Tunison said to me, you don't need a dentist, you need a doctor. 3 days later after seeing two walk in clinic doctors, I landed up in the PLC emergency room getting IV antibiotics for 3 days. Today that tooth that caused all the problems was removed. The day before he told me he spoke to my family doctor about my health problems, and told me what was going to happen that day of the extraction. I was impressed with his level or concern for his patents. When he removed the tooth today, he explained what to look out for. I am really impressed with his level of professionalism.

I am beyond happy and satisfied with this dental clinic! I had an in-home accident and broke my front tooth. No other clinic was willing to take me in as fast as they did. They arranged a same day appointment, just a couple hours after the accident. They have a convenient online form to be filled from your phone or tablet (make sure you arrive a bit earlier to fill them out). They are taking all the safety measures to prevent COVID-19 spread, so I felt comfortable walking in there. All staff (on the phone and in person) were amazing! No back and forth of information, everyone was knowledgeable and on the same page. They are very polite and willing to help. The dentist (Stephanie Wong) was extremely professional and sweet. She was truly caring and thoughtful, She made sure I was happy with the results before letting me go home and gave me all the information I needed. There are several work stations, but all of them are somewhat private. And they are all very clean and neatly organized. The equipments are high ended. Definitely recommend this clinic to anyone looking for top quality services! Thank you! ????

Problems: 1. 2 locations, Richmond and Beddington. The number for the Richmond location on Google maps, sent me to the Beddington location. I learned this after I showed up at the Richmond location for my appointment, on time. Rushed to Beddington for an adjusted appointment 2. After making it there as fast as possible, they didn't check me in after I had done my paperwork, and had got passed by other clients 3. After getting in finally, found out I needed an emergency extraction, but the doctor that saw me, didn't have time to do it, not could they accomodate. Definitely would not recommend

Had several fillings done on one side that took 2 hrs to complete everything went smooth at first however the dentist did not check my bite before he left so a few days later i came back with a lot of pain in my jaw, a different dentist spent 3-5 min adjusting the bite and said take some advil for a few days, I took an entire bottle of advil and a prescription of naproxin. four weeks later and in extreme pain to the point i missed 4 days of work I went back again to see the original dentist when i complained of the amount of pain i was in he was very rude then aggressively ground down my already very very sensitive teeth and told me to take some advil and ill be fine. It has now been two weeks and i am taking 4 extra strength alieve and 4 extra strength asprin every 6-8 hours just to be able to be somewhat comfortable. I will never go here again the admin work is terrible.

Now, rarely would I RAVE about a dentist, the same people I was terrified of 10 years ago, but Dr. Anderson is the nicest, most caring person who doesn't talk down to me about my dental health. In 5 minutes of meeting her, she made amazing recommendations on things she would suggest and also went above and beyond to figure out how we could fit in all the recommended treatments into my benefits plan. Today, I write this following an amazing filling appointment (words I thought I would never say haha) with her and Talisa, my favourite Dental Assistant there who I've seen a few times. Been here 3 times. 1st was a two tooth extraction by Dr. Tunason. (sorry if spelling is wrong) That dude is a G. O. D when it comes to extractions. Last year Dr. Jeong (again, sorry for spelling errors) extracted a couple of teeth, did great work but I used sleep dentistry so my memory of the process is second to none. However, today Dr. Rok Jeong did an extraction. With only freezing. I cant speak for any other Dr. 's but the two I dealt with are nothing shy of amazing. Your comfortability is a big deal for them. I refuse to go anywhere else. Let me make it clear I am thee biggest pansy when it comes to the dentist. Mad sweats, anxiety, restlessness... Not your golden boy for patients... But this place makes all that better. I would recomend this place a million times over. Always. Forever. If you're thinking about trying this place out, stop procrastinating... Just go. I promise. I am 69 years old, I dealt with a Dentist in NW Calgary for 35 years and in the last 10 years I became more and more disappointed, especially with what seemed like a continuously greater money grab. The final straw was a front center tooth breaking off that he had previously capped. His suggested resolution was to replace it and the one beside it with two implants for a cost of $10,000. Very sadly the high opinion I had always held of him immediately evaporated, it was time to find a new dentist. I soon realized that was a tougher task than I thought it would be. I tried another Dentist for a year and found I was uneasy about their suggested treatment route. I mentioned it to my G.P. and he suggested for a second opinion a Dr. Bueckert who had done recent work on him. Well I realized immediately I had met somebody that discussed choices, sensible choices and the ones that I thought should be followed after my initial consultation with the previous dentist. I soon had two teeth extracted that went amazingly well, I realized immediately when she put the first needle for freezing in my mouth that this lady knew what she was doing, I had already read her background and knew that she had experience in sedation dentistry as well as hospital sedation dentistry etc. I have had teeth extracted over the years but nothing ever as professionally done as these two were. Pain free, a little discomfort when the freezing wore off but nothing two painkillers didn't take care of, The next morning I was simply amazed, no discomfort at all and just the realization of a little tenderness in those areas. As I said, absolutely no substitute for somebody with this kind of experience. The receptionist, booking clerk and hygienist are exceptional at this business also I found. Believe me I have never been one to be shy about complaining. In this day and age with the Dental industry taking such a 'beating' I am so surprised to be writing such a glowing review. Just realizing that anybody who ever thought that there dentist visit was just wonderful must have something wrong inside there head, that’s just the nature of a dentist visit. At my age I feel it’s good to try a few different ones until you settle on one that best meets you needs (and personality). Try a different dentist or two at the new office you are newly going to, same with try a different hygienist or two. We are not supposed to like dentist businesses, they are all absolutely the same trying to get every last dollar out of us. After A year and a half going to Beddington Dental I am very happy with the dentist I have and especially the hygienist I have who is maybe the best I have ever had. The secret is to manage them and not let them manager you, respectfully of course but firmly. .

I also liked that I have full input at every stage, and no rush or pressure, along with their commitment to the finest design detail was reassuring to me. As a 50 something working business person I researched this thoroughly and the solution I needed involves implants, likely grafting, porcelain replacements etc. which needless to say requires the highest level of quality in materials, expertise, after care, and affordability. I look great but my teeth are sadly not keeping up - and a full "all in 4" is being considered which is the latest technology and a permanent solution. These people are well schooled in every aspect of dentistry you can think of and they're very good at what they do. They also take care of the insurance part of the appointment which is very helpful as this area is not one of my strengths. Overall Beddington Dental Clinic has been my favorite dentist of choice for the past 25 years and will be for the next 25 years.

I had a big surgery with Dr. Lai and his assistant Ysabella last week. My three bad teeth had to go. To ensure my gum would heal better after teeth extraction, Dr. Lai suggested that I can consider bone grafting. I was nervous as I never heard about it. He explained everything and ensured this is the best solution for a senior who has severe osteoporosis. The surgery went very well. He spent lots of time in cleaning and sealing, to prevent infection and leaking in the future. The whole process took about 2 hours. I was the last patient when I came out, and I saw Janet, Administration at front desk was still waiting for me when the clinic was supposed to close half an hour ago. I was so touched. Dr. Lai checked my surgery area yesterday to ensure it is on the right track to heal. Dr. Lai very cares about his patients. He is the BEST dentist I have even seen!

Horrible. Dentist yelled at my 6 year old during her fillings as she was terrified. He berated me for my supposed poor eating habits of my children (not true); said that's what caused their cavities. When I went for emergency dental care they didn't book enough time to do anything and were rushing me out the door (I was on codeine for the pain - that bad). While the exterior of their new office is very attractive, the staff and dentists leave something to be desired. Go anywhere but here.

These guys are amazing. They're super kind and patient, and always explain things clearly. They're honest without being harsh. I had wisdom tooth extracted here, and was crying during the procedure. They carried on like it was totally normal, making sure I was still doing alright, but never berating my anxiety. They genuinely seem to want to give the best care the patient needs, rather than hunting for profits. They're honest about what needs priority, and why the suggest the things they do. They broke my healthy tooth with a hammer calling it a routine examination. Also, they took out my wisdom tooth and ended up causing a surgery and even they left a piece inside my gum, for two weeks, till infected and then they figure out that they had forgotten that piece. I suffered a lot with them. When I complained, they threatened me with their lawyer. I was a poor recent graduate and could not afford to fight them back. The association of dentists did nothing: they asked me if I had a witness with me or if I had filmed them when they broke my tooth!

Used to see her at her old office and when she switched to Beddington Dental I had to follow (even though her new office is farther away from my home). She is the only person who has ever cleaned my teeth COMPLETELY. She doesn't miss any spots and she thoroughly goes over your teeth ensuring they are sparking clean. She gets in deep into the areas that really need to be scrubbed. Zara is simply the very best hygienist I have ever had. You will not be disappointed with her. I also suggest that you inquire with her about some simple at home tips and tricks. She had some knowledge on some simple at home dental cleaning tricks to help keep your teeth sparking and easy to clean. Ask her about oil pulling and how she will admit that her patients who oil pull have much smoother and easier to clean teeth. The office is also very open and nice. The front staff are very friendly and open to help you however they can. I thought it would be easier if I submitted my info to insurance but when I went to do it I ran into issues. However the front staff were amazing at helping me. The responded to my email quickly and helped me to submit my insurance over the phone. Thank you front staff for your help. Amazing. Thank you!

I've been coming to this dentist for several years now. A year ago, they did work on my teeth filling several cavities with one not quite right that was causing minor irritation. They were always great about looking at it and reassessing it. Today they decided to really get in there and fix it by taking out the old and do it all over again. They did it quickly and without pain! Will not be returning to this dental office. Been going here for a few years. The hygienists and dentist are nice and always made me feel comfortable but the staff are terrible from front desk to manager. There was a problem with a filling my husband received and we paid for once. The dentist admitted that they messed up and now needed to be fixed. They tried to charge us and insurance again for their mistake. We said ok to charging the insurance but they refused to wave our portion of the fee. The manager was very rude and did not care about customer service or their responsibilities to ensure that patients are not harmed by procedures. Especially when Gross Negligence and Procrastination are factors involved. Even now, they will not fix the mistake they made, regardless of the immanent risk of abscess and tooth loss due to their negligence.

I am a bit nervous when it comes to getting my teeth cleaned as I have some sensitive spots. The hygienist there did an excellent job, she made me feel as comfortable as possible and it was evident that she cares about doing a thorough job and achieving the best results for me. I positively noticed how she sanitized any used surfaces immediately and washed her hands several times during the appointment as she was switching from using the X-ray machine to dental tools and such. The office is new and as such offers all the modern amenities as well as a COMPLIMENTARY manicure. They validated my insurance coverage prior to the appointment and were able to correctly estimate my co-pay. The dentist who looked after me was also great and very caring, but the majority of the time was spent with the hygienist. I'm now also bringing the rest of my family to this office, as I am completely satisfied with the services!

I was very excited when I saw this clinic down the street from where I live, as my old dentist had retired and was at a further location. On two occasions I had issues with the clinic: 1. I had pain in one of my teeth so I called to book an appointment to see the dentist. The appointment was three days from when I called to make it. At the appointment, Dr. Tunison and his assistant had a bunch of different methods to try and figure out why my tooth was hurting, including some electrical current tool that was placed on the tooth- I was told to hold up my hand when I felt something. All this fancy schmancy stuff only to be told by the dentist that my tooth was probably just more sensitive because of a receding gumline. OKAY. I went to the front to pay, and saw they charged me for an emergency exam. I did not argue this point at all, and my insurance covered it, but after I realized it felt like a scam because this was not an emergency appointment!!! I had booked in advance! 2. The second time involved a case of what at best would be described as multiple clerical errors, and at worst, insurance fraud. Even though I said I needed to pay in person first and then deal with the insurance company (co pay issues and all that), the assistant at the front still put the payment through, AFTER I paid the full amount, and then days later, I get a payment into my account from my one insurance company that was not the primary one to pay for the services. I had to call the clinic and ask them on TWO occasions to send the money back to the insurance company because the clinic now had been paid TWICE for the same service. Overall, I have decided to switch dentists and am seeing Dr. Sabey on 19th street NW and 20th AVE. No frills there- no TVs on the ceiling or iPads in reception for the kids, or a GIANT TOOTH behind reception where the admin appears to just sit at- just good old customer service and treatment at normal prices that are not inflated. After showing the receptionist there my bills from Beddington, they informed me Beddington charged a lot more than the fee guide, and they also charged me for 4 pan x-rays- these are the side x-rays of your teeth. I was told I only needed two. Each side x-ray gets both the upper and lower, yet Beddington did 4. I am looking for basic good customer service, and it was frustrating calling the clinic all the time for clarifications etc. Since all this I have called a couple of times to get email receipts from reception, and the ladies have been nothing but helpful with these requests- the clinic should however take a look at their training as well as paperwork and make sure everything is in order.

With this Clinic over 6 years. But I had nightmare with Dr. Tunison today. He don't willing to solve problem and trying to made excuse to avoid everything concern with my teeth. And created my other health problems. My tooth caused big pain and he ask me to see Medical Doctor. Ridiculous! I did visited my cardiologist today after visited this terrible guy. And my cardiologist asked me "you teeth suffered you so long time and caused you heart problem. why not find a good dental clinic to solve the problem!" But what I should to do? I spent over $6,750 to try to have my two teeth fixed not include my insurance pay every time come back visiting. what a hell! When the dentist put the crown on, she already know the crown is big. There aren't any space between the teeth even the floss couldn't go through at all. But she didn't file regardless cause pain later. She did said if pain or tight, she can file the crown. but suddenly I am so painful and caused my face a little swelling. I have to see dentist right away. I met Terrible Dr Tunison. I told him tooth caused infection and he said no. Then the result is teeth infection caused my heart problem and my cardiologist had to give me prescription for antibiotics. He is so mean and bad without any concern at all. THe only thing he did was try to kick you out right away.

Their clinic is clean, calm and safe. I just finished my treatment plan and very satisfied. They did what they felt was best for me, not what I wanted to hear. Most times if you arrive early you get earlier. They are wonderful with kids, and never lecture you on oral hygiene. They listen to what you want, they look deep down, and do what is best for you. If I moved on the other side of Calgary, I would make the drive to see them. They do payment plans, and work with you, rather than taking all your money up front. Talking with the dentist is like talking to a friend...and they actually care how your day is going. Most of all, my kids like going there and they are 11,8 and 3 1\2. This is a great place to go. I wanna be honest for the ppl out there as Calgary is the most expensive for dental service and I have experienced the worst ones before so being skeptical always for dental

My teeth are clean and feel smooth and polished. He did a great job. After my cleaning, the friendly receptionist upfront gave me a card for my next appointment in six months. I actually feel taken care of and have no apprehension about my oral health.

Covid-19 Precautions were excellent. I felt very safe in the waiting room and in the dentist chair This is a very professionally run dental clinic. The waiting room is large which I really appreciate and there are lots of staff at the front counter. There is lots of parking in the huge lot. I am considering sedation dentistry so it is nice to know it is an option here.

I switched to this dentist about over a year ago, and best decision I’ve ever made. I always have anxiety when I go to the dentist, and dr.bueckert is amazing. She always makes me feel as comfortable as possible and I always seem to calm down once I go in. She’s very calm when she’s doing the procedures and very gentle. I’ve never felt more comfortable in the chair before. I did have one experience with one dentist there once when I first switched over, he made me feel extremely uncomfortable and made me feel terrible about my dental hygiene. I remember I went for my first emergency appointment to check out a tooth that was giving me pain and I had eaten dinner previous to it and because I went so last minute, I didn’t have time to brush my teeth, so he kept going on and on about how he can’t see anything cause of the food, didn’t offer me to rinse but instead was just pissed. He also put the chair, way way way down, where it feels like you’re upside down and because I could feel the blood rushing to my head, I started to feel so light headed and then an anxiety attack was hitting me. Then told me there was no way we’d be able to save the tooth, which really got me down because I had JUST gotten a bridge on a different tooth and couldn’t afford doing another one. He made me feel absolutely terrible. So when I booked an appointment to do an X-ray and check up, I got Dr. Bueckert and she told me she could absolutely save the tooth, and she did! I can’t remember that certain dentists name, but I told the receptionists and told them to put on my file that I do not want that dentist and they respected that choice I made and didn’t argue or seem upset, were just understandable. Essentially, if it wasn’t for Dr. Bueckert, I wouldn’t have switched over to you guys. She has been nothing but amazing, as well as the receptionists, you ladies are also amazing! Thank you!

Absolutely a nice place and the dentist are knowledgeable too. However, with the traphic they have this place could be more organized in a professional manner. The chairs at the waiting lobby are horrible. My neck almost cut off, and the receptionist are very, very AND very loud. I was there and the receptionist keep asking her colleagues what kinds of coffee she wants and keep repeating herself with bang bang bang very loud voice. Don't bring your new baby there. I was about to walk out...Got to a point where I had to leave the waiting seating area that's how bad they were in terms of how loud they were. I felt I was in a drama class where everyone are allowed to shout and talk at the same time...

I remember going to this place a few years ago. The first visit was fine, however, my second visit which was supposed to be for removing my wisdom tooth didn't go well. I took off time from work to go there and find out the good dentist was still at home. I waited for 40 minutes, the secretary bought me a 10$ timis card to say sorry. I put the timis card on the chair and left never to go back. My 1 hour is worth much more than a 10$ card, incredibly unprofessional. Would you trust your health with a clinic that has dentist like that?, god knows what else they forget to do. This made me so mad that I still remember it and wanted to come back and leave a review. There are plenty of good dentist in Calgary, I suggest for your own good to try another one. Its not something you want to take a risk on.

I don’t like this place because 1. I learned that my cleaning appointment was canceled when I came to the office. The lady at the front desk told me that I called in and canceled the appointment. But finally I found out the cancellation was due to they called a wrong phone number for the appointment confirmation. 2. A couple of months ago, I was told I need to do two dental fillings. But I learned that the doctor did 3 filings after the treatment was done. Maybe this is the reason why the doctor seemed so busy at that time. I should know what treatment I will get before starting the treatment. I sometimes still have pain in my tooth after the treatment. 3. They are expensive. They charged me some extra money on my credit card after two months of the dental cleaning and exam and they just sent me a receipt without any explanation. I have two benefit coverages, but still I need to pay extra bill? It is scary if you don’t know what will happen and what had happened. You do not know the name but you must know what you did. I will call and cancel the appointment in May.

If I could give zero, i would do it. This is the worst experience I've ever had in dental clinics. The clinic tended to encourage the patient to use dental insurance, even some of the item is not deemed necessary. It is true that we have insurance covered but I don't want to donate my money to the clinic. I understand that the X-ray would help for diagnose however my husband felt annoyed that the nurse instead of the doctor manipulated the decision. He's 100% okay with the doctor but not the nurse! Hungry Sales Approach! I would definitely NOT recommend it to any of my friends. Save it.

Used to be a good place, first and only dental clinic i've used since moved to Calgary 2007.Running down, rapidly changing staff, careless assistant, hand shaking dentist cut my lips and won't say a word!I had emergency case few years ago, can;t get a appointment with my dentist, so they sent me to Dr Bradley. the chips he did fall off after 2 weeks. so i said i would never see him again. well, but i guess i have no other choices since all good dentist are either left or fully booked. 2mth ago i had to see him again. he quickly left the station after finish filling, without giving me a mirror to check as before. soon the assistant passed me a huge roll of cotton say" just give some pressure, it will go away". i had no idea what happened till after paid at reception and checked in mirror after i left, thx! for cutting my lips! a 2 cm long cut! And the last appointment i had with them before the year end, suppose to fill 3 chipping on my top teeth. assistant closed down the warnings which says " weak teeth, please apply *** every time“， pretend not seeing it. soon i know, it's not a good sign at all. i got freeze and laid down, the second time i point my cheek ask her for a suction, she said " it's only your saliva， you can just swallow it！” have you ever try with freeze on and head band backwards, and swallow!! A unknown dentist did ALL fillings, yeah, suppose to be eh? finished 10 mins early, then, assistant told me " now you can book appointment for next filling" "what is the next filling?" " the top middle one" well, they left the one with a big visible whole but filled up some other ones that I didn't even know! finally, pay time~reception was new too, when I ask for a receipt, she told me "you don‘t need one, since it's all covered"................just because she don't know how to print out a receipt.the other lady helped her, and found out, she did the claim wrong. so i had to wait for 25 mins till they revised the claim and submitted a new one.This place is getting worse and worse. But it's okay, I don't think they ever care at all, there will be new patients join in every day.

I started coming here over a year ago. Unfortunately, I had no benefits to cover dental for a year and as such was only finally able to get in for a cleaning last month. When I finally went to my cleaning the hygenist I got had changed from the one I had from before and she seemed shy to scale my teeth and the whole appointment just felt very rushed. About a month went by when I finally gathered the courage to inform that I had actually not been satisfied with the cleaning I received. The manager called me back the following day and booked me in with a wonderful hygenist, Aileen. Aileen took her time in scaling and she did find some minor tarter whereas last time, due to the very minimal scaling I believe my previous hygenist did miss a lot of tarter. She also ensured my fluoride trays stayed in my mouth for the minimum required time. All in all, Aileen and the management did a great job in rectifying my concerns with my previous appointment. Thank you!

These people need to be on T.V. and awarded something. Within two hours of our initial call they had my freind in there, operated on and sent home with a perscription of ensure and medication. TWO HOURS! The speed and concern they showed was almost beyond human in a world of money makers and complacency. We had a couple questions after we left and they had immediate answers and were not at all impatient with our calling back so many times with other questions. I hope these guys never change. I can not imagine getting better service. I was in tears over how caring they were. Simply amazing and VERY RARE service. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere ever.

Beyond the expected clean and spacious facility of a dental clinic, the receptionist team at Beddington Dental were extremely helpful from start to finish. Providing information and answering any questions you may have and establishing a pleasant first encounter with clients. I was only seeking to conduct a basic cleaning, but one key aspect that really impressed me compared to any other large clinics that I've been to previously, was their procedure to take note and record the wellness of your gum line. Then informing you of the health and well being of your gums. I greatly appreciated this process which may be regular to their practice but no other clinics that I've been to has taken the effort or care to conduct this. It spoke a lot to me in terms of building a long term relationship and certainly gives me the confidence to entrust their practice with my future business. Especially with larger operations because of their service quality control and attention to detail. With that said, special thanks to hygienist, Elaine, for executing this and doing a great job on the cleaning process. Its always a great motivation to have a good cleaning and try to improve your oral health! Overall I'm highly satisfied with the quality of service and I look forward to establishing a relationship with Beddington Dental to ensure my oral wellness.

myself and my family been going to beddington dental clinic for 5+ years. The doctors are very professional and very nice. I understand I had to cancel my appointment twice due to personal reasons within 48hrs. I had an appointment today and I called and asked the receptionist if I should still come in as I had a flu but i started coughing since this morning. She was very rude and asked why I didn't call yesterday. Which I told her I wasnt coughing yesterday. She then said well " if you can control your cough and let the doctor do his work then come in" I asked her nicely if she was sick could she control her cough? She got very mad and wasn't being very nice about rescheduling my appointment. I wasn't expecting this kinda service from them.

Stay away from Dr. Patricia Bueckert!! I had a crown that was shaking and it turned out that the base tooth underneath is broken and it needs removal. Dr. Bueckert told me that it will take about 10 minutes to do the job. After that I lived a real nightmare for about 90 minutes , she couldn't take the tooth, she broke it and she was tearing my jaw bones and keep failing, finally she left me and called Dr. Lawrence Lai who amazingly was able to finish the job in less than 15 minutes (including roots removal, stiches and implant new bones). Above all her failure she was arrogant and once she called Dr. Lawerence she just disappeared and never showed again or said a word of apology. We 've been with Beddington Dental for about 3 years now (me, my husband and two kids) and in general the service was very good and this is the first time we have been treated by Dr. Bueckert. I am still recovering and still have pains in all the mouth, the situation was really creepy and Dr. Lawerence had to call me today to make sure I am all right ( and I really thank him for that). One point to mention Dr. Bueckert told me (after she had failed to finish the treatment in about 1 hour and a half) that she can just close the area and let me leave to pick up my son, just like that, even a student should not make such suggestion to cover his failure

Closest dentist to my home, am a 15 year patient. It seems like every time I go there I am disapointed. I was there today for a simple cleaning..... somehow, I had work done did work on me that my insurance doesn’t cover. I have 100% coverage but they didn’t tell me they were doing things that were not covered until I got to the cashier. I’m so disappapointed. Should they not tell you the price you will have to pay before giving you a procedure? I do for my clients. I trusted my dentist to act in MY best interest. UPDATE: I received a call before the clinic opened up the very next morning, upon reading this review and reviewing my coverage, the manager credited my invoice in full. I was very impressed by the speed of the communication, the results of which were above and beyond my expectations. It’s one thing to run a good business but the ability to react quickly when customers have concerns separates the good from the best. Thanks Beddington Dental!

The reception staff was either unaware of the Covid related procedures sent to patients or entirely disregarding them creating complete confusion, anxiety, and a near missed appointment. When I did finally enter the office I was treated as if I had a known infectious disease leading to me profusely apologizing for needing to breathe and for being a person. I will never go there again. There are questions on their "health analysis" form which are absolutely NONE of a dentist's business. And then even after I had told them that I can only have cleanings, etc every 9 months on my insurance plan, they still did these procedures. So that cost me $170.00 out of my own pocket for a fluoride treatment (stick a couple of trays of goopy foam in your mouth for 3 minutes) and a polish. I guess they are eager to pay for the new space they are in. When I told the girl at the front that I would not be coming back, she just said "OK" and was not concerned. I will be finding a new dentist with a much smaller practice. Hope to find a more personal touch.

Updating this review to say they they are still awesome here! Even with covid protocols and social distancing, everything runs like clockwork and the clinic is spotlessly clean. There is lots of sanitizer available. The staff are still incredible and so kind. I felt reassured and taken care of. If you're looking for a dental clinic, Beddington Dental is the one. Just had my cleaning and new patient check up at Beddington Dental clinic. I cannot say enough good things about the clinic itself and the people working there. The clinic is so clean and modern. The reception staff are so pleasant and welcoming and professional. It's very nice to be greeted by this when you walk in the door. My hygenist was very gentle and reassuring. This is a big thing for me as i am scared of the dentist! I had x rays and a check up with one of their dentists who again was so thorough, professional, warm and friendly. Everything runs seamlessly. I will be returning for the fillings i need. And honestly i won't be so anxious about it because i know how great they are.

Went there on the family long weekend as a walk-in patient and I can tell you this was the worst dental experience of my life. It was more about money than actually doing the work. In the beginning, the Dr didn't even want to do the root canal, and after going back and forth he decided to do it which was a disaster work, and he had to give me four amoxicillin and 3 Advils at once to "reduce" my pain. Anyway, at least it was kind of the owner of the clinic to answer his cell phone at the night time and answer some questions regarding why this was the worst root canal experience.

Because I had a meeting in the morning I was unable to have a phone conversation with the clinic. My appointment was scheduled by email and confirmed. A Covid-19 survey 2 hours prior to my appointment begins the protocol procedure . I arrive 10 minutes prior to my appointment time. I phone to let the clinic know that I have arrived. When they are ready to receive me, they call and I enter the clinic. Masks, of course, temperature check and hand sanitizer finalize the process. The clinic was safe and the staff maintained their usual high quality of work. I didn't at any time feel that client care was compromised. A positive experience, would recommend it, going back in November.

I went in for a pre-invisalign treatment. The first dental hygienist struggled for about 15-20 minutes using the 3-D scan on my teeth. She couldn't get a good scan of my teeth and a 2nd hygienist came in to help. After a while poking around in my mouth, the 2nd assistant hygienist realized the 3-D wand was defective so another appointment is booked to finish the scan. The 3-D wand is too big for small mouth. Not impress, I wish it was done properly the first time without having a second appointment.

I have been to this clinic with my daughter now multiple times over the last few years. The staff are quite friendly and they seem to be good with children. They are generally quite careful to explain what they are doing when my daughter is in the chair. Unfortunately, this does not make up for the fact that the standard of care is very low. While I don't expect a dentist to fix any problems on the spot, I do expect that if we go in for an appointment of any kind that they should check to see if anything major is wrong with my daughter's teeth. The way they work at the moment would be like if I went to the doctor to discuss my liver function, and the doctor didn't mention that I had a broken leg. Their approach makes me think that they have no interest in the health of their patients, and are only interested in getting each patient in and out as quickly as possible (and as many times as possible) so they can collect their money from the health insurance company. My daughter has twice had major issues that were missed during checkups (1 huge cavity and 1 abscess). In addition, one of her fillings fell out and had to be replaced. The cavity I spotted myself a week after she had been into the dentist, it was so big I thought a filling had fallen out. I called the dentist and they said I would have to make an 'emergency appointment' to get it looked at. We did that, and even though they agreed there was a large cavity, they would not do anything to fill it. I had to rebook again and come back for a third time to get it fixed. More recently, we went back to get a couple of my daughter's teeth pulled after she had a checkup at the orthodontist. Apparently there is no transfer of information between the two offices, because they did not know which teeth had to be pulled, and we had to wait about 20 minutes while they figured it out. Once this was done, they informed me that one of her teeth that needed to be pulled had an abscess, although she had a checkup only a couple of months earlier. We have now been to the clinic at least 5 times this year, at least 2 of which were unnecessary, but of course the dentist still gets their money each time we visit. Every time we have been, the dentists have been very rushed. They probably spend at most ten minutes in the room whether it's for a filling or a tooth extraction. I don't object to things being done quickly, but the fact that multiple mistakes have been made suggests that they are rushing things too much. I will be finding a better dentist for my daughter as soon as I can.

He was so thorough! ...iv been to this clinic many times before and iv always found the staff pleasant but Dr. Bradley was above and beyond! September 2020, Covid has Beddington Dental taking exceptional precautions, from huge hepa filters in each room, to park and wait arrival protocol. The staff have done everything possible to ensure safety of themselves and their clients. Once again an exceptional hygienist Tina. At this visit I asked and she explained the nuances of tartar and bacteria in the mouth. Today was polishing day and my teeth look brand new! June 14, 2019 update: Priyanka was an efficient, competent hygienist. I barely felt her working when doing scaling! It was also time for my gum measure comparison; and she was informative and thorough in sharing the results with me. This is my second visit to the Beddington Dental Clinic. Aileen was awesome as always! Shoutout to the receptionist Alex, very helpful, explained everything to me so that I had a good understanding, estimated the cost for me which I really appreciated. Came in December 2 for a cleaning. My hygienist Jessie was friendly but rough-in from stretching my mouth form side to side when cleaning my teeth. Poor lack of time management when work was being done. Interupted by another staff member measuring my gums when work should of been completed, and because of this work was not completed in the required time. She also said multiple times that work would not be a thorough cleaning because of the time frame. This is my second dentist visit to this office, both visits have been painful.

I got a new night guard at the recommendation of dr tunison. However, it was so ill fitting that I had to go back for multiple adjustments. This is my third night guard and I’ve never had a problem with the fitting before; I’ve also never had to get more than one adjustment on it with my previous two. After my third or so adjustment with dr tunison, he questioned my mental well being and suggested I see a therapist. I walked out in tears and requested to see dr Jeong next time. After seeing him once, I booked with him again for my next appointment but for some reason, I was placed with dr lai. After getting Botox at dr lai’s suggestion, I went back for another adjustment on my night guard as I wasn’t seeing the effects of the Botox after 10 days. Dr lai refused me service and also questioned my mental well being, telling me to see a psychologist. When I was firm with my request, he told me this will be the last time. I already felt so embarrassed and exhausted from going back often regarding the same issue, and the fact that my concern was being invalidated was extremely unpleasant. I walked out honestly sobbing and sat in my car for half an hour crying. A little empathy goes a long way and I’m tired of being told I’m crazy by medical professionals. One dental assistant whose name escapes me was an absolute gem, though. Her name started with a ‘K.’

I've been a patient at Beddington Dental Clinic for more than five years, but I have decided to switch because of my most recent experience at the clinic. My last appointment was an evening appointment and after updating my records with the clinic, I was taken into the back to meet with my hygienist. The hygienist was friendly and engaging; however, she made me feel like a deadbeat because she pushed and pushed until I signed in to my insurance provider's website to check to make sure that I had sufficient coverage for the appointment. It was only after I had checked and confirmed my coverage that we carried on with the cleaning. After my cleaning had concluded and the hygienist walked me to reception, the appointment became intolerably unpleasant. The receptionist informed my that there was an outstanding balance on my husband's account and demanded I pay it, because it was over 90 days. My husband and I each take care of our own personal expenses and he had been in contact with Beddington Dental five days before, regarding an issue with insurance, at which time the outstanding balance was not mentioned. I informed the receptionist that it was my husband's expense and that he should be contacted about it, but she again demanded that I pay it because it was on our 'family's account' and my insurance was the primary provider. After my attempts to explain that we each pay our own personal expenses were rebuffed several times, I was told by the receptionist that it was 'unfair' to the clinic that it had to carry this balance over 90 days. Embarrassed, shamed, and once again made to feel like a deadbeat regarding an expense that didn't belong to me, I reluctantly agreed to pay the expense. Paying the expense was was in itself a painful experience, because it took the receptionist three payments and much calculation to provide me with the correct balance of the debt. The next day, I called to speak to Beddington Dental's accounting representative, to check how many attempts were made to collect the outstanding balance from my husband between March 2015 and my July 2015 appointment, and was informed by one of their accounting representatives that NO attempts had been made to collect by telephone, mail, or email. Not a single one. It had not even been mentioned when the clinic called my husband to inform him of the issue with our insurance coverage. Yet, the receptionist the previous evening had made out as if my husband and I were purposefully avoiding paying the clinic's invoice. The accounting representative was apologetic regarding my treatment, which I did appreciate, and informed that once I had resolved the issue with my insurance, I would be entitled to a refund of the sum my insurance covered. While I did and do appreciate the apology for the way I was treated by the staff at Beddington Dental, the apology was not enough to make me return. If you have have ever had any issues with your insurance coverage, I would not recommend going to Beddington Dental to address your dental needs.

All staff are very friendly and pleasant. The waiting room is always clean and tidy. You can also get a free manicure once a year I highly recommend this dental clinic.

They are great at not listening They are great at doing a whole bunch of unnecessary xrays They are great at taking advantage of patients and filling there wallet And they are great at justifying why they have to do 20 extays of each tooth looking for decay Also great at not doing the work that you needed done And great at sending your unpaid 65. 00 left owing on exrays you didn’t need and sending it to collection agency I highly recommend going there if you like to get taken advantage of .
