I went here for a checkup and cleaning and complained of a very sore tooth. The doctor looked at it and claimed it was probably just a gum infection and it should get better. I asked why they didn't do X-rays and they claimed the ones I had 2 years ago were sufficient so I didn't need them. Turns out a year later getting checked at another dentist that "gum infection" was actually a terrible cavity on the side of my tooth and all the way up the middle. Had to get a root canal. Pretty unbelievable since I've never even had a cavity or any type of mouth surgery before. They said it probably could have been prevented and I just would have had to get a filling if this dentist had done his job right and due diligence. I'm sure that says enough.

Dr Wong is an amazing dentist but I just spent 30min on the phone with his receptionist. She wouldn’t let me schedule an appointment to meet with Dr. Wong to see what my teeth will cost overall after my coverage deductions. She was so rude and wouldn’t let me schedule any appointment and asked me what I needed done on my teeth. I don’t know what I need done for my teeth I’m not a dentist. I’m so frustrated with their resceptionist that I’m going elsewhere.

I have been seeing Dr. Leslie Wong at the Dental Clinic @ Robson for almost 20 years and continue to do so even after relocating outside Vancouver. Dr. Wong is highly skilled and I’ve been exceedingly happy with the numerous procedures he has performed for me. His professional diagnoses are always accurate and his suggestions realistic, and I’ve never felt coerced toward any expensive or unnecessary procedure. Above that, he is genial and courteous, as are his staff, of whom Svitlana is my hygienist. I dislike being in the chair as much as anyone else but Svitlana’s detailed account of everything that is about to go down always puts me at ease before the cleaning begins. She is passionate about her work and her personalized advice is always appreciated. Perhaps most importantly Svitlana works with a very light touch and is very attuned to my comfort.

I love this dental office as much as you can "love" the dentist. I've been to another office downtown before finding Dr. Wong and this is world's better. If you need a hygienist, ask for Svitlana. She is the best. She is quick, effective and very friendly. Dr. Wong is so great. He's so friendly and not outwardly judgy (since we all don't floss as much as we should). My young daughter also comes here and does surprisingly well. The staff are so nice and they have good kids programming on the tv for the distraction. The clinic is clean and bright but nothing fancy. I have docked them one star only because you can't change the programming on the TV. One time my daughter who was 2 at the time went to the dentist and they were playing star wars. Needless to say there was no TV that time for her and that appointment didn't go very well.

I've been going to Dental Clinic @ Robson for 16 years. I have somewhat problem teeth and a lot of experience with dentists; Dr. Wong is by far the best dentist I have ever had. His professionalism and skills are only surpassed by his kind attitude and gentle touch when working, so much so that I usually just relax on the chair and sort of forget there's someone working on my teeth. Same goes for the dental hygienist Svitlana Myroshnichenko, whom I've been seeing the past 3 years (four times a year at that). Her touch is so light, and she guides you to turn this way or that so effortlessly and kindly, I sometimes doze off while she's working. Svitlana is also very knowledgeable (she's a trained dentist in her own right, in her country of birth) and gives great advice and suggestions in terms of dental care. Now my teeth are in their best shape ever! I used to dread going to the dentist and every time I had cleaning I felt like someone had been using torture devices on my mouth; not anymore. I never imagined I would ever be cured from my fear of dentists, but Dr. Wong and Svitlana took care of that. In fact, my whole family is well looked after at Dental Clinic @ Robson, including my son since he was born. And when Svitlana was away for a short time last year, my spouse refused to even go to another hygienist and skipped cleaning until Svitlana was back. All in all, words cannot express how grateful I am to them and happy to have had the enormous luck to stumble into Dr. Wong's office all those years ago.

My sister referred me here, and after a lot of hounding (I did not want to drive DOWNTOWN from North Van for a dentist appointment), I am so glad I did! Everyone at the office is great and my dental hygienist in particular, Svetlana, is really knowledgeable and so incredibly nice. She is always positive, happy to answer any questions I may have, and is the best dental hygienist I have ever had. Previously, I HATED going to the dentist. I found myself constantly stiff and rigid during my entire cleanings with other dental clinics/hygienists. I still find myself clenched into a tight ball once in a while, but with Svetlana's caring nature and gentle touch, I am sure I will eventually get over my subconscious nervousness.
