I highly recommend Central Park Dental Clinic as the Doctors & Dental Hygienists always make their patients feel so welcome. Plus the clinic has all the safety procedures put in place for COVID so I felt super safe. Dr Chan is the best dentist I’ve ever had and I’ve been seeing him for years. He always takes great care of me and my teeth. Dr Chan always keeps me informed on what’s best for my teeth so I can keep taking care of my them. Yesterday I had a cleaning at Central Park Dental Clinic and it was the best experience I’ve ever had as I had no anxiety. The Dental Hygienist Rebecca who I’ve had in the past remembered me from previous checkups and that made me feel so calm as she remembered that I have anxiety while at the dentist. Rebecca made my appointment feel so relaxing, and that has never happened before. If you’re looking for a great dentist, I highly recommend Central Park Dental Clinic. Dr Chan is my favourite Doctor, however all the doctors at the clinic are superb.

Dr. Chan is very helpful and is very passionate on his work. I had an accident and broke my front tooth. Amidst his busy schedule, Dr. Chan sacrificed his lunch hour to repair my tooth on the next day after my accident, without a root canal. My tooth heals in the time frame as predicted by Dr. Chan. I'm very grateful to have Dr. Chan as my dentist and will not hesitate to recommend him.

It was good place in a past but not in present.They try to make as much money as possible and recommend extras in a very aggressive way .Be aware of charge from extras:x-ray, “Dr” checking,flossing etc even you come just for cleaning.

I'm giving this dental office one star and the only reason for that is, because Dr John Day is actually good at what he does and is very friendly . To be fair, some of the hygienists are good aswell. Aside from that, everyone else is pretty incompetent to say the least. I've had my teeth worked on here by a few people and each time it was poor dental work. I had some work done by a dentist here who no longer works here. He put in a crown for me and it was not well done. I'm not a dentist and even I could tell by the way it felt in my mouth and looked that it was not done right. Long story short, sure enough I looked it up. I went on my computer and googled good crown work vs bad crowns work. And...you guessed it! Out pops a picture of a poorly done crown which of course matched my tooth completely. The crown looked very different from the neighboring teeth. It was very oddly shaped. It almost didn't even look like a tooth to be honest. It looked all puffy like a marshmallow or a popcorn kernel . I decided to go into another clinic to have a second opinion. The dentist there could not believe the sloppy work that had been done on me. If that wasn't bad enough, I don't know why but I decided to refer my mom and fiancé to this clinic. I think it was mostly desperation as both my mom and fiancé at one time had major tooth pain and I just wanted to take them somewhere to get help right away. Long story short, I regretted my decision. I think by referring my mom and fiancé I created more problems for them than helped them. The ladies at the front screwed up my moms paper work. They gave her misleading information and also entered the wrong codes into the invoice. My mom was quoted one amount and was charged a different amount. We told the clinic receptionist (front staff) more than once that we want to know and be clear on what is being done and how much it will cost. My mom was not willing to do any dental work that she couldn't afford. So, after we were reassured that the procedure and quoted dental work was correct and there would be no surprises. My mom went ahead and got the work done. The work itself done by Dr. John Day was good. The front staff on the other hand, continuously don't seem to know what they are doing and are confused. Of course this is worrisome for clients who want accurate billing and insurance coverage information! It's not right to tell people that certain procedures are covered and then when the work is done, call two weeks later with a huge outstanding balance. Of course they demanded that it be paid by a certain time. No mention or apology that it was the clinics mistake. I think what they should have done is own up to their mistake and atleast apologize. Later my fiancé had his bill mixed up by the front staff. He too, got a call after the fact to notify him that he owns the clinic a certain amount that he was not aware of . Except in my fiancé's case, not only did the front screw up his bill but Dr Chen, who was new to the clinic at that time, completely ruined my fiancé's tooth. He was in much worse pain after getting work done than he was going in. What a huge disappointment. My Fiancé had to go back a few times to request his tooth be looked at again. Eventually, he gave up and went to another clinic. Oh and I also never got a single reward/"promotion" for referring my mom and fiancé . They had a promotion where they would give you a reward/gift card if you referred someone to the clinic and I was told I would receive one and I never did. It's okay, but I just don't appreciate being tricked. If you say you're going to do something I suggest you do it or just don't mislead others by advertising it.

A very welcoming, friendly & professional staff. I have been going to this clinic for the last 18 years and after Dr. Day's retirement have had Dr. Chan, Dr Chu & Dr. Rensen look after my mouth well-being. I've had multiple crowns, an implant and orthodontic care done and I'm always happy with the results. This is a great dental clinic that truly cares for their patients. The clinic is also very accommodating with appointments and dealing with the insurance care providers. There is free parking located in their underground parking lot or on the side of the building.

I have been a customer here for more than 8 years and the place has just deteriorated since Dr.Day retired. Now it is just money making "machine" - they will try to make as much money on you as possible. You will get charged on everything possible even if you tell them not to do a certain procedure. Here is a brief list > Came in for cleaning , got charged for floride not covered by insurance even though told them not needed > full X-ray within 6 months w/o any reason > wisdom tooth extraction sedation applied even though not told it would be so that they could charge extra ..and the list goes on. Beware of getting charged extra and ask questions otherwise be ready to foot a large bill. Patient care and service is secondary, making money on you is their priority.

I have had a great experience with Central Park Dental Clinic. I've brought my 3 year old daughter to check an unusual teeth gap of her 2 molars. I was worried that my daughter will be frighten and won't open her mouth. Dr. Chan was very patient and kids friendly. Both my daughter and I were very happy about the visit. Dr. Chan gave very good advice and told us that we didn't need to spend money unnecessarily for this matter. The final charge was very reasonable too. My family will go back for sure for other dental needs.

I would recommend this dental clinic....the office staff are exceptional and professional and kind to deal with. Dr Chan is exceptional at his work....he is kind, he explains things in great details, takes his time and never appears to be rushed. I would also recommend Dr Fanny Chu, who is great at explaining and making one feel at ease....also the dental assistant Soon made me feel at ease explaining dental implants. this office has parking and at a great location in Burnaby.

Central Park Dental is one of the nicest places I've ever been to. It's well lit with a great view, incredibly friendly staff, and it's super clean. Dr Fanny Chu was my dentist and I swear, she is the nicest one I have ever been to in my life as well as the best in terms of service. I've been a patient at Central Park Dental Clinic since 1984 and recently had upper and lower crowns done by Dr. Chan. I'm extremely happy with the results and love my beautiful smile. Dr. Chan and his staff are very professional and patient . He took the time to explain the procedure and answered all my questions. Eric provides excellent cleanings while always being very gentle and thorough. Marylou is amazing and friendly and has taken the time on more than one occasion to communicate with insurance companies on my behalf going above and beyond. I visited this dental clinic for the first time last year. Dr Chan was very caring and professional. Because I was new to the clinic, he spent good deal of time on the examination to make sure he was fully aware of my dental health condition. I felt that he heard all my concerns and recommended treatments based on that. I referred my wife to see him since and she came back with the same feedback as well. Now I will be referring my parents to see Dr Chan when their checkups are due. I also found the appointment, invoicing, and dental benefit coordination to be quick, easy, and hassel-free. His staff handled everything in a timely fashion without any issue. I would give six stars for this clinic if I can.

We have been coming to this clinic for a few years now. They have always been caring and considerate to patients. Dr. Chu, Dr. Chan and Soon are amazingly good with children. No crying kids and only big smiles especially when they get their reward at the end. Rebecca and Dr. Chan did an awesome job too when I came in for the 1st time after a long pandemic break. I have been coming to this dentist office for over 30 years. I feel comfortable coming to a dentist office where the staff are great behind the desk , friendly and accommodating. Even though my dentist retired, I find Dr. Chan patient, caring and honest. Parking is sometimes hard to find and I live 40 mins away but it is worth it for me if you find a dentist you like.
