My teeth have taken a beating in the last two years due to chemotherapy, lack of self care at times, brushing too hard near the gum line which caused receding gums and loss of tooth enamel. I have always been met by a courteous, pleasant staff. I was never kept waiting too long. Dr. Grewal has the most gentle touch and always offers the best solutions to my dental needs. Quite frankly he is the best dentist I have ever had. I would highly recommend him and the Dentistry on Nelson to family and friends. The office is very clean and spacious. I am well pleased.

First time to see Dr. Lind and the team and what a great experience it was! When you first arrive you are greeted warmly by the receptionist, the assistants are very friendly and knowledgeable. There was an unexpected incident with Mr tooth which was totally my fault , Dr.Lind and team went above and beyond to help me and they gained my loyalty and trust today! I was very happy with the care I have received. This review was done before covid. I have now been left with all my work incomplete. Dr Lind left me with a bone graft that was never checked afterwards and a partially completed denture that does not fit. He did a filling under a bridge, that fell out a few months later. No one from this office called me to let me know what was happening ,or if Dr Lind was coming back to work. I spent a lot of time and money over the year I was seeing Dr Lind. All if it was incomplete and good for nothing.

The dentist's and hygienists take good care of their patients. Although, that's usually the case in a dental office. I have gone to the Dentistry on Nelson for around 2 years now & I find their communication is extremely lacking. When covid occurred, I was never notified that my wisdom tooth consultation was cancelled. Later, I had to go to Hamilton for x-rays, and the dentist there said I should hear from the the Dentistry on Nelson within 37 days to book an appointment. After 2 months I called the Dentistry on Nelson myself; the woman on the phone agreed that they should have been calling me much sooner. In addition, they send you text message reminders for hygiene appointments. "Reply with R to request an appointment"......"As requested, we will call you". I sent them a text requesting an appointment almost a week ago & have not heard back. At this point I will be taking my business elsewhere, 3 strikes.

I have been coming to this dental office for years and have never had any issues however today i was very upset with such an unpleasant experience. I understand that the hygienist was very new but she didn't appear to be ready. She was rough, awkward and messy. She couldn't operate the chair properly and kept banging into me. She had a problem with the instruments and i felt like i was choking the way she put the suction in my mouth. Anyway she apologized and tried her best. Very poor experience. My entire family have been patients of this office for over 25 years, the last 3 years have been a complete sh** show to say the least for myself and my daughter. Since I have transferred my daughter to another office but I thought I would give them another chance as I’ve been a patient since 2 years old, I scheduled a cleaning appt and went on Friday, my appointment was at 12:30 and due to Covid protocol they had me test “arrived” when I arrived, I got there at 12:25 sat in my car for 10 minutes before getting a message stating my room had been sanitized and prepared for me to enter. So I went in only to sit in the waiting room until 12:50, myself being a dental hygienist know every minute is critical to maintain a steady functioning schedule for the day. I got up and left while the receptionists looked at me like deer in headlights as I had waited over 20 minutes. Definitely taking my business elsewhere as will the 7 members of my family who have been lifelong patients, very sad and upsetting.

Staff was very personable and had time to show interest in their patient. The waiting area has a large variety of reading material and the overall space is always clean. Not sure if there is wifi connection but who needs it when you can read a current magazine or bring a book/sudoku/crossword. Take advantage of a quiet time before hitting the chair.
