I am a 53 year old mom of 2 who hadn't been to the dentist in well over 20 years (I am ashamed to admit) and was very nervous about seeing one. I hadn't had the best of experiences in the past and was dreading having to go. A friend recommended Dr Deskin to me and I decided to bite the bullet and go. They accommodated my work schedule and booked me easily at a time I was available, and Chrissy the receptionist was very warm and friendly. In fact the entire staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome and as a result I was calm. Dr. Deskin and his hygienist Cory did a complete examination and developed a treatment plan to take care of my teeth. After 4 visits I left wanting to tell everyone that if they are looking for a fabulous dentist they would need to go to Brantford North Dental and see doctor Deskin. I had to have a tooth re built and I am absolutely thrilled with the result. Dr Deskin matched the colour of my teeth so exactly that you can't even tell I had work done. The man is unbelievable.........in fact quite a perfectionist. I had absolutely no pain and I am thrilled with the result! My smile has never looked better. I almost cried! The best thing about him and his staff is that they are so approachable and easy to talk to. Their prices are very fair and you get a sense that they are there because they love what they do.......it's not just about the money. I would recommend them to anyone. If you are looking for a Dentist with a team who treat you like a person and not just a client, who truly care for your well being then look no further. Dr. Deskin did an interview with me and my husband before we started earlier this year as I have had some trauma and difficult experiences with previous dentists. I’m extremely anxious and nervous when it comes to even getting a cleaning. Dr Deskin, has made me feel welcome and comfortable. I am still nervous and have some anxiety; but I feel safe with him and the team. The past decade of neglect left me with an extremely damaged tooth. I was afraid I would be having the tooth pulled. Dr Deskin on a Sunday asked if he could call me. He was confident he could save my tooth with a root canal- and he did. He took the time to make sure I was given comforting news as soon as possible to relieve me of a little stress. That is how much he cares. He and his team checked on me through out the process, and Dr. D made sure to reach out to make sure I was okay. I’ve never been treated with so much respect and kindness from any health care professional. I’ve had my cleaning done and two cavities filled and have since driven myself to the dentist on my own for the first time ever as an adult. I’m so grateful for Brantford North Dental and the kindness they have shown me. His team is just as kind, from reception to assistant. Everyone you interact with is kind, and just trying to make sure you are okay and help you take care of your oral health. Thank you Dr Deskin and everyone at Brantford North Dental.

Had a great experience, got booked in early due to some cancellations. Front desk is very friendly, and the medical staff have a good sense of humour while still keeping it professional. Was asked throughout procedures if I was comfortable and to inform them if anything hurt. TVs mounted on the wall and above the chairs make it easy to keep occupied while having work done.

Just recently started to go to this dentist, and all I can say is that they have exceeded my expectations. This review is coming from a person who is terrified of the dentist! But when I came to Brantford North Dental they were so understanding of my fears and anxiety, they made sure I was comfortable. I never thought the day would come that I would sit in a dentist chair and laugh through an appointment ( even when I was getting a root canal), Dr. Deskin and the whole crew know how to take the nervousness away. Koodos to EVERY staff member there, I appreciate everything you all do! I can strongly say if anyone is looking for a new dentist this is the place you need to go, 5 stars all the way! We were looking for a new dentist and when I called Chrissy I knew my husband and I had made the right choice. Chrissy was fantastic as I had a problem tooth and needed it looked at asap. She made an emergency appointment for me and then set up our new patient appointments. When I met the girls face to face, they were just as lovely as Chrissy. Dr. Deskin had a fabulous manner and sense of humour and used a "band-aid" solution on my tooth. The girls at the front desk offered to put me on a call list so that I could get in sooner to have the tooth completely fixed. i came home raving about Brantford North Dental, and I'm sure both my husband and I will be happy there! Keep up the good work team, you're fantastic!

Dr D. Has been our family dentist for many years. I recently had a filling replaced Which gave me lots of trouble because there was a large gap in between the two teeth. Even though there was a problem doctor D stepped up and fixed the problem without question or any additional cost. I would highly recommend this dentist. They really care at this location and it really shows.

One of the best dentist offices I've ever had the pleasure to attend. After a bad experience at another dental office I was not too thrilled to have to go back to the dentist. Brantford North Dental was suggested by a coworker and they have been nothing short of amazing. I am undergoing orthodontic treatment at Brantford North Dental. Right from the get-go I have been very pleased with the customer service. Dr. Deskin took his time to not only make sure that I understood what I was getting myself into (braces), but also that I understood the entire process. I have been very happy with the results of my orthodontic treatment and that everything has been done in a timely fashion. I look forward to going for an orthodontist appointment or just a cleaning because the staff are so friendly and treat you like a part of the family. I am not a child, nor do I have any, however- I have overheard them working on a child next to me. The hygienist took the time to show the child each and every tool and explained what it's purpose was. I was thoroughly impressed by this. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a dentist or orthodontist to as least visit Brantford North Dental for a consult- The friendly welcome at the front desk combined with the knowledgeable and compassionate staff will surely impress you.

All of the associates are happy to be working there and this reflects in how they treat their patients - always with a smile, courtesy and an eager desire to make even the most nervous patients (me) feel at ease. In these times of corporate dentistry I was happy to find a dentist and dental office that I am not apprehensive about visiting!

I read the online reviews for Dr. Deskin and still was nervous not really knowing what to expect from reading online reviews. TODAYS EXPERIENCE was by far the most enjoyable visit I have ever had at a dentist office. I went in as a new patient today because of fear I cracked a tooth. The team was by far very welcoming and funny. Dr. Deskin was very kind and super knowledgable with a comedian personality that makes you giggle. He tells you your options that best suit your financial means. He seems to sincerely care about his patients rather then treating you like your just next on the patient list. I trusted him 100% today. I HONESTLY SAID "I could hang out with you guys all day" lol. Now who has said that about going to the dentist before :)

Before coming to Brantford North, I absolutely hated the dentist. In fact, I went over 10 years without seeing a dentist. But since becoming a patient of Dr Deskin and his staff, I actually don't mind it. I have been through many procedures because my teeth aren't the greatest to begin with, but Dr Deskin has made them actually tolerable, which for me was a huge step. I have severe anxiety, and we moved at my pace. He constantly checks on how I'm doing when he works on me, and will stop to give me breaks of I need them. His front office staff and assistants are all wonderful, and they also make it easier to handle the experience. Dr Deskin also takes the time to talk to you about other things that may be going on, and is sensitive to things that may help alleviate your stress or anxiety. I can't say enough about the entire staff at Brantford north. In all of the times that I have been there, I have never had a single bad incident. I would suggest him to all of my friends, and will continue to use this office. In my opinion, they are the best

I was referred to Brantford North Dental by a good friend who is a staff member. It had been several years since I had seen a dentist and was a bit chicken to return. I was greeted by Shelly and Andria immediately after entering the office. I felt welcome and very comfortable. They were running behind that day due to a couple of emergencies, and I was advised a few times of how much longer the waiting period would be. To get things moving, I was brought in to get the xrays started, then a face to face with Dr.D. Dr. Deskin is extremely personable, great sense of humor, made me feel at ease from the first handshake. My second visit, I got to meet Mackenzie my hygienist. She is very calming and personable which was great seeing all the work she had/has to do to get me back in good oral health. Great experience, great staff, would highly recommend to anyone.

Dr. Deskin also treated my very elderly (100 + years) mother for many years. The dentures he made for her fit beautifully and he was absolutely wonderful with her. She was thrilled with her new smile!

I have heard some great things from a friend about Brantford North Dental and I can assure you that they didn't disappoint! I was in contact with one of the most friendly receptionists there is. She was able to get me in quickly to ease my worries about a tooth issue, even offered me a cancelation that was the next day! WOW! Came into the office and she was right there to welcome me. I was brought back by a lovely assistant before I met Dr. Deskin, both took the time and care necessary to help put my worries at ease.
