My son and I went in for a check up because we were due for one, and they decided to clean our teeth. I was not aware that we would be having our teeth cleaned, and assumed that maybe it was covered somehow due to COVID-19. Nothing was said about it AT ALL prior to or during our appointments. Come to find out at the end of my appointment, that I had to pay for it!!!!! I am very unhappy with this and very strongly considering switching to a different dental office.

The friendly and experienced dental staff at Avenue Dental have patience for patients like myself whom are sensitive to gum & tooth pain. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of service upon my first appointment and am more than happy to be a patient at Avenue Dental.

Very thorough and professional throughout the visit. As an initial visit I felt very welcomed by friendly staffs. The health and safety protocols were well laid out; I felt very safe during my visit as infection control was always kept a priority.

Staff is very nice it’s clean & the dentist is so good my husband & I didn’t even feel the freezing needle going in to our gums AT ALL so if you have a fear of needles like we do go there it’s a great place for kids ????

They have been amazing following all the new safety protocols due to COVID-19 pandemic. Recently my daughter started a "braces" (Invisalign) treatment and I am really satisfied with the entire process.

Dr. Spolia is a very professional, kind and understanding dentist. Her recommendations are always looking out for the patient’s best interest. I return to her, despite now living an hour away. Years ago, when I took my grandfather in to deal with an abscess tooth, he wasn’t easy and she dealt with him with the utmost kindness and grace. I highly recommend this dental team! :)

I'm only giving four stars because I do not know them well but I appreciate being taken in promptly, for the lack of Monarchs inability and for being in a lot of pain. I initially called about an exposed root from a molar causing very much discomfort, and wanting it removed, but now finding out two more is to be pulled because they are loose. I'm having anxiety about losing three teeth now!. And one being my front bottom tooth...I don't want to wear a false tooth and wire! I've always tried so hard taking care of my teeth, and all this has saddened me. But other than that, I have a good sense of people and they all are friendly and welcoming staff...so far no issues except losing extra teeth I wasn't expecting to hear. Appointment is today, I'm praying all goes well. I met with the Doctor who extracted my top molar that was giving me much pain and discomfort. He was very good and explained everything that pertained to after care and leading up to follow up checkups for my deteriorated bone and options I can have instead of having false teeth. My level of anxiety is low now..I feel better and have scaling starting in two weeks. They're helping me to eradicate gum problems. Thanks I feel relieved that I'm in good professional hands.????

Appointments are always on time and the ladies there are wonderful to deal with. Only downside is the parking, it’s shared with the company next door and it’s an extremely small space to park a larger vehicle along with a few other cars.

I had been a patient for a few years but didn't go in as regularly as they would've liked. I had a dental emergency and was in an extreme amount of pain (percocets weren't even helping) so I called them for an appointment. I was told it would be 2 weeks. When I reiterated that it was an emergency I was told (in a condescending tone) that I didn't come in often enough to be given an emergency appointment. LUCKILY, I had a cut that got infected and needed antibiotics, that lessened the pain of my tooth so I could manage the 2 week wait. Also, there was one dentist who didn't use enough freezing and dropped instruments in mouth, hitting the back of my throat. Same guy also demanded to know why I was getting a tooth pulled when I didn't need to and I was wasting his time then he changed his tune when I told him another dentist (his boss) said I had to but she didn't do extractions. This happened a few years ago but I drove by recently and noticed the sign said accepting new patients, so I've added my review for future patients to consider. Hopefully the staff and their policy for emergency appointments have improved.

Very happy w the care and concern/precautions taken. This is my first Dental appt amid the pandemic and being aware of sterile procedures myself, I can safely say I was in good hands. They have spaced out ther appts enough to follow such a pristine protocol that your appt isn't rushed. All the staff are owned head to toe and change ther gowns w each patient/appt. Very impressed, I felt very safe and not in danger at all w the staff. Amid how stressful the pandemic has been, I still got the very professional and friendly care and concern by the receptionists, hygienist, and dentist as I would have pre Covid. Thank you Avenue Dental! Stay safe!

Happy with the hygienist I see and everyone is always nice and polite but always issues with scheduling. Every time my appointments come around, they ask me to reschedule it. I’m flexible so not usually an issue but it happens every time and sometimes, like this past appointment, they made 2 changes, both date and time. But the part that annoys me the most, is often the time change is requesting if I can come in earlier. I agree but then sit in the waiting room until almost the original time of my appointment. Why ask me to come in 20 minutes early to just have me sit in the waiting room for those 20 minutes? Not annoying enough for me to hunt down a new dentist but still annoying. They are always apologetic and polite but it has bothered me over the numerous years that I have been a patient.

Absolutely abysmal service. I went in with several broken/abscessed teeth, one of which has been in incredible pain since January and she tells me "the way we do things in this office is first we will get your mouth to good health before we do any work" in other words she wasn't willing to fix ANY of my teeth until I underwent a cleaning. Which since they would have to apply local anesthetic due to sensitivity would have to be done across 4 appointments. Meanwhile each appointment takes at LEAST 2 weeks to get in to see. So I'm looking at doing 2 months of cleanings before she's even going to THINK about fixing any of my broken teeth. And do you have any idea how excruciating a scaling would be when you have several abscessed teeth? It's agony to simply tap on the tooth, nevermind having sharp metal instruments scraping roughly at them. This woman is a sadist who only cares about money. This is hands down the absolute WORST dentist I've ever been to in my entire life. And I'm not exaggerating, either. This isn't even this first time I've had problems with her either. A few years ago I went there to have another tooth fixed which a filling had come out of. She insisted that she do the procedure with no anesthetic or nitrous. Her reasoning? It was too shallow to need anesthetic. Well I'm sorry but I've got extremely sensitive teeth and a fear of dentists, which she clearly doesn't care about. I wound up walking out of the appointment before she could do anything. I had to call my insurance company and tell them not to let her bill them because she didn't do anything. The only reason I decided to give her a second try was because of the good reviews on here. Which is why I'm leaving this. If you have any problems with anxiety at the dentist, pain, sensitivity or any problems of that nature DO NOT go to this terrible dentist.
