Be prepared for a dental experience like no other. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and sensitive to your needs. They have tv's in the rooms so you can focus on that while they work to help with anxiety. They even have dentists that specialize in children and she is so amazing I felt more than comfortable going back to the waiting room while she did the work on my 4 year old. Best of all they offer all dental service's you could need in house!! Thank you so much to the team for restoring my faith in dentists.

I visited the brand new clinic that is located in Belleville's west end. I can not thank the team at this clinic enough. Without dental coverage this can be intimidating experience. These people were perfectionists on some difficult fillings near my gum line that were fixed with expert precision and at a very reasonable rate. I would recommend Chevy and group to anyone looking for a dentist who cares about what their work looks like in the end. This man fixed my teeth for a fraction of the cost of what it would have cost elsewhere, listened to my situation and made a plan that was not only feasible but the work was done like a master craftsman. I just wanted everyone to know how much I appreciated everything that they did for me I have my smile back. Thank you so much for everything that you did.

My dental hygienist is amazing. Cheyenne worked at a different dental office when I met her. I hated getting my teeth cleaned and getting the lecture about flossing. So when I was paired up with Cheyenne I was skeptical. But she was so kind, caring and talked me thru it all. She used the water pick on me and was gentle on my poor sensitive gums. From that first appointment I was hooked. Unfortunately she moved to a different location and the dental office didn't tell me. I was so shocked when this strange lady was calling my name and it wasn't Cheyenne. There was no way I sitting in this lady's chair. I lasted 2 mins and walked out. I got home and hopped on FB and messaged Cheyenne and asked where she moved to. Within minutes she answered and I called You Make Me Smile. I went from leaving one dental office with high anxiety to booking an appointment that same day with the amazing talented Cheyenne. I walked into this New office and was blown away with the decor and waiting area. I never saw a dental office have a water/juice/coffee/tea area. I was greeted and was taken to one of the office and was given a welcome gift bag, tour of the office and so on. Once my xrays were done I was lead to Cheyenne's space. Once I saw her I felt my anxiety drift away. I was so happy to be there. While she did my cleaning I watched Netflix on the TV in the ceiling while getting a heated massage in the dental chair. The dentist came in and he was so friendly and Cheyenne warned him not to give me the floss lecture....lol, which he didn't. This office may be in Trenton and I live in Belleville but the drive is so worth it. When you find a dental hygienist you trust, there is no question you follow her!! Cheyenne you are the best and you work with an amazing team. I would give you 10 stars if I could!

Went for a general checkup and had a very pleasant experience! Staff are very friendly and professional and the office itself seems clean and maintained. Additionally they provide various amenities for patients such as drinks and neck rests. Would definitely recommend to anyone in need of dental work and a good dentist.

I was referred to this dental office by a friend, Sam D. It had always been like pulling teeth to get me to go into the dentist office prior to my experience here due to the negative experiences I have encountered. But, this office is not like the others that I have been to! The staff are great, friendly and informative. Upon my first appointment, they gave me a tour and introduced me - I can honestly say that I have never had that happen, and it definitely makes a difference! Not to mention all of the continuing education they continue to complete- you know that you are receiving the best possible care. Hunter is my dental hygienist. I've had a lot of negative experiences previously, especially with hygienists BUT, Hunter is great! She is informative, knowledgable, and friendly. Thank-you for all of your tips! Dr. Younes is also great as well. He is the first dentist that actually took the time to explain, and answer any questions that I had WITHOUT feeling like he was disregarding my concerns. Also made cavity fillings less dreadful ! He is friendly, gentle, and informative. Thank-you for everything thus far! Thank-you Sam for referring me! Before my experience at You Make Me Smile Dental Centre in Trenton, I would not go for regular check ups but, now I schedule every 3 months! I've been going here for 12 years now. Originally I had a not so nice smile, but it has been transformed into one I can be proud of! All by some cosmetic fillings and regular care. The staff are all extremely pleasant, including Dr. Younes himself! My hygienist, Cheyenne, is very thorough and takes pride in her work. I'm a lifelong patient here and actually look forward to going to the dentist now!

I came to see Dr. Younes after losing faith in my previous office. I had developed severe clenching as well as cronic migraines and neck pain due to a tooth that required removal. Upon removal of the tooth, the symptoms began to subside and eventually we went ahead with the procedure to add crowns and further correct my bite. Now my teeth look amazing and my chronic pain symptoms & migraines have subsided, enabling me to exercise and go to work without pain. It's impressive how much your teeth and your bite can affect the rest of your body and quality of life. If you are thinking about it you should make an appointment

I had teeth implant surgery for my two front teeth yesterday. I did not feel a thing the entire procedure and felt very confident with Dr. Younes and his assistant Lina operating. I would recommend this office to all as the staff are very knowledgeable about the practice, they get you in and out very quickly, and are very nice and comforting as soon as you walk in the door. So disappointed. I started bringing my family here a few years ago because of the amazing dentist that took care of my son. We had an unfortunate incident that happened and ended up needing a referral to a sleep dentistry for my 4 year old son. As soon as I heard I needed to take care of my sons back Molars, I called You Make Me Smile. I took my son right away to see the dentist. He did a scan on my son and told me what the next best step would be. To my surprise he kindly told me to “not worry about the cost for today”. Wow! Amazing customer service. I wish I could remember his last name. He had me so hooked that I ended up bringing my son back a year and a half later for a cleaning and I , myself became a new patient. My husband has his own company so we do not have insurance. Therefore, I paid about $750 cash for my sons cleaning and mine. Talk about a good patient! Well... my now 5 year old son had an unfortunate accident this May long weekend (2021). He hit his front tooth off the pool ladder which caused bruising along the gum line. Quite concerned and knowing what’s best I decided to make an appointment at this dental office. Little did I know that they would charge me $140 (them knowing I don’t have insurance) for 4 minutes of the dentist’s time. Not impressed and will be taking my business else where. No wonder why majority of the people don’t want to get their teeth cleaned!!

Had a wonderful appointment with Dr Younes and his awesome assistant whose name I believe was Lena. Had several cavities fixed including repair of a tooth that was broken. The freezing as always been a nightmare for me but Dr Younes has a gentle calming voice and touch and it was by far the best freezing experience I have ever had. The hygienist was sweet, caring and a joy to have in the room. It was obvious that my fear and comfort were of paramount importance to both Dr. Younes as well as his assistant and they both went to great lengths to put me at ease. Not to mention the ladies at the front desk who always welcome me with a smile and are wonderful regarding payments and rebooking next appointments. It’s hard to really capture how surprisingly this place balances a sense of upscale premium comfort with a friendly approachability, but that’s just what it does. Having found them on Google Maps, I initially reached out because of the proximity to our new home just south of Trenton. But I’m not sure in all the cities we’ve lived in there’s a better dental clinic. The facilities are immaculate & the provisions they’ve made for safety & cleanliness during COVID are world-class. Lora was especially warm & cordial welcoming me, and Lisa was amazing on the phone before I when arrived. Looking forward to coming out of this pandemic with straight & clean teeth!

Both of my kids had complex orthodontics done here - all the steps and costs were laid out and made transparent, with no surprises along the way, and the results were amazing! Everything can be done in-house, which is great for replacing retainers! All the staff are very professional and pleasant and get to know you. I’ve had positive experiences within both locations. In the Belleville office, I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Shevket. He was thorough, informative and quick! He made sure I was relaxed and comfortable. In fact, so comfortable I was laughing while having my bottom wisdoms removed. I was intimidated prior to my appointment and left feeling educated and confident in his work. He answered all of my “concerns” (ON A SUNDAY at that!) and even got me in for a follow up the next day to ease my mind! Tracey was also very wonderful to deal with, friendly, personable and extremely thoughtful. She made sure I left with some lip chap for my cracked lips post surgery! In the Trenton location, the staff is always giving you a friendly welcome! I even got a smile cookie at one of my appointments! Dr. Younes from day one has been kind and informative in expressing all of his opinions for the best treatment plan for me! I started my Invisalign treatment last week and had to have two teeth pulled out to accommodate it. Dr. Younes made sure I was comfortable and felt no pain. He was quick and confident! He had both teeth out in as little as five minutes, I felt no pain or pressure. I was amazed! Even days following, the staff was able to schedule me in immediately to help me with my braces! I am extremely happy with my decision in perusing my treatment with this dental centre! For many years I’ve lack confidence, thank you for helping me get my smile back!

I strongly recommend this dental practice for anyone, children, adults, PEOPLE WHO ARE VERY NERVOUS/SCARED about going to dentist. This is the first time in my life that I have been to a dentist for several fillings (a few very large ones) with no freezing. All staff and dentist's are extremely friendly and make sure that their patients are comfortable (heated, massaging seats, and Netflix, if you prefer). August 21, 2019 Updating my review. I visited the Belleville office to have my first CROWN today. Naturally, I was a bit nervous, but everyone made sure to take the time to answer all my questions and concerns. The procedure went well and and with minimal pain (after freezing released in between appointments - same day, one in the morning and next in the afternoon). Afterwards, they also took as much time as needed to once again answer my questions about after care. A huge thank you to all the Belleville staff, especially Marianne, Revi and Dr. Keatings. As a radio/tv broadcaster and narrator, my job requires me to speak concisely, so the importance of oral care is of utmost importance! I had 3 gum grafting operations with Dr. Shevket and each one was a great experience. i was nervous, but the staff had great chairside humour to ease my nerves and the dentist was very aware of my nerves and reassured me thoroughout the process. I even got to watch a few favourite movies on the screen while the procedures happened. Laughing gas also helped a couple of times too. By the third op I didn't even need the gas, I felt relaxed and confident! I followed his post op instructions to a T and healed perfectly. Looking to have gum grafting? Yesterday was my first visit to You Make Me Smile Dental Centre and it was by far the most pleasant experience at a dentist's office. And I was there with an infected wisdom tooth and in excruciating pain! So that's saying a lot! Everyone was so warm and friendly, it was a very comfortable environment, my hygienist was so friendly and knowledgeable, and my dentist was incredibly thorough and very detailed in his explanations. My hygienist was also very understanding of my current financial limitations being a self-employed musician with no dental coverage, in the middle of a lockdown (aka next to no work), and was very understanding in helping me assess a game plan to take care of the treatments I needed in the near future at a pace that would be more financially feasible for me. I was also given a very nice welcome gift upon arrival! All in all, a great dental visit beyond anything I've ever experienced before :)

Originally went there for a cleaning around May 2016. Was told I needed old fillings replaced to due fractures. Never really had any pain though. I have 100% dental coverage with no yearly cap so I said sure, fix them up. From around June to December 2016 I was there every other week or so. They replaced the old fillings on my molars on both sides of my mouth over the course of the time period mentioned. Immediately after the work started I was getting sharp pains when I was chewing, which never happened before. I was usually back in after each tooth was done due to the pain. I was told my bite needed adjusted or the fillings were too high. At this point I couldn't even chew on my left side at all. Once the work on my right side was done, which was where I normally chewed, it was the same situation all over again. Went in for numerous bite adjustments and nothing fixed it. I pointed out where the pain was and how it was happening. At one point the filling on my very back upper tooth chipped off and fell out in my mouth not even a week after getting it done. Had it fixed a few days later. At this point it is December and I haven't been able to chew anything remotely hard at all. After numerous appointments and bite adjustments I decided I wanted a second opinion from another dentist at this office. He felt around my jaw and asked me if I get headaches and stuff, which had nothing to do with my issue. He said everything was fine after not really inspecting my teeth at all. Complete waste of time that was. I went across the street to Trenton Family Dental, the Dentist there listened to my story and the pain I have been dealing with for over a year due to this offices "fixing of my old fillings". He probed around and did some tests and I ended up having a fractured molar which was causing the pain all along, and some improperly done fillings, some of which were chipped. We had everything fixed and done properly and I can finally chew and have zero pain. The only good thing about this office? The staff was nice. My dentist at the time was actually really nice, and my experience as a patient with her was great, other than the work that was done. I feel they saw my benefits plan and treated it as an ATM machine with an endless amount of easy money. I would not recommend this office, and would tell them to instead walk across the street to Trenton Family Dental. They may not have TV's and heated massage chairs, but they actually listen and troubleshoot to find out what is actually wrong. What was a normal cleaning appointment turned into a year of pain and discomfort, I should have went somewhere else long ago.

Dr. Shevket is simply amazing. In 2013 our daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted by him in Kingston, Ontario. His calm and friendly demeanor put us at ease immediately. In June of 2020 my wife, Monica consulted him as she had lost the crown of a front tooth in April during the Covid-19 pandemic. Much to her surprise she was able to contact him at his Belleville location. After an initial consultation a date was set for a root canal and insertion of posts for a new crown. Unfortunately the planned procedure could not be done due to unforeseen circumstances-so he came up with an alternate solution on the spot. After her 3 hour visit she was amazed at the wonderful result. We will definitely be seeing him again for future dental work. It is definitely worth the drive to Belleville. He exceeded all of her expectations-a true professional in every way!

PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE!! I had a root canal procedure done a few days ago.. I felt pain half way through the procedure.. after it was finished I was crying in unbearable pain!! The worst pain I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. It felt like a knife stabbing me in my mouth over and over again. They all left me alone in the room while I cried in pain. Absolutely terrible how they treated me. Also had swelling on my cheeks from the guard they placed on my mouth the dentist was rude and asked how I didn’t feel that.. I said I was a little more focused on the pain of my tooth and he rolled his eyes at me. Very unprofessional and uncaring staff. Also! I heard them talk about not having the correct filling in stock for my mouth. Seriously!? I trust you with my teeth and you don’t have the correct equipment to do your job?? They never should have charged me for anything they did. After the procedure I got up and immediately felt the pain! It was so unbearable I couldn’t stop crying. They said there’s nothing else they can do and didn’t even help me to my car or anything. Or even offer to call a parent for me. I left shaking and crying in unbearable pain driving myself to the pharmacy to get the Percocets they prescribed me. The next morning I went to a different dentist found out I still had infection. They NEVER should have operated on my tooth until the infection was gone! I’m now suffering in pain! They haven’t even called to check up on me! Yet the new dentist I went to right after them has called me twice to check up on me. How sad. Please do not go here! Worst dentist I’ve ever experienced in my life.

Today I had the great pleasure of working with Lora, Hunter, and all the incredible staff at You Make Me Smile! I teach First Aid and CPR to a number of Dental Clinics across the GTA and the surrounding areas, and I've got to say that the level of enthusiasm, preparedness, and overall intelligence I was met with today was amongst the top I've seen in my career. Moreover, people and places like these are truly something special; they have the remarkable ability (regardless of the reason you're there) to leave you with a sense of accomplishment, and a lingering happiness that warms you up throughout the day. On a side note, proper sterilization and decontamination procedures are paramount in our world today, and I have yet to see another clinic adopt so efficiently and effectively these procedures into their practice. And that's not a slight against other clinics - the level of sterility I saw here today was on par with what I'd like to see out of an ICU. All in all, You Make Me Smile has earned every 5 Star Review on here, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area. Thanks for the wonderful day guys!

As a new patient at the clinic I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of my visit. I was warmly welcomed and had a cleaning with Hunter. Anything she noticed during the cleaning she would tell me about in detail, but also explain any possible causes along with preventions and solutions. I greatly appreciated this as I was able to get a better understanding of daily cleaning but also bad habits since the detail was more in depth and better explained compared to previous experiences at other places near the GTA. The clinic is also equipped with better and later equipment than I have experienced in other locations. I would recommend this clinic to anyone that would ask.

The entire team is professional, helpful and genuinely friendly. Dr. Alkoury is the dentist I seen today to have crown work done, he is absolutely amazing. His freezing technique is beyond exceptional. It was the first time that I can honestly say I never felt the needles for the freezing. He is very skilled and patient, gentle and kind. Sara, his assistant is absolutely wonderful. Been into the Belleville office many times throughout the summer for many different treatments to finally correct my teeth I’ve put off for many years cause of being scared of previous dentist I’ve went to in the past. I can say I’ve never had one bad experience going there and would highly recommend them. Dr Bajcer dentist I used was fantastic and always asking if causing any pain an if needing to stop for a rest he’d gladly give you one. After avoiding the dental work I so badly needed done because of fear, I was finally able to get the treatment I needed and more at You Make Me Smile with Amanda and Dr.Shevket. I required extractions for my wisdom teeth and was very anxious over the procedure. Both Amanda and Dr. shevket explained everything I wanted to know, and reassured me creating a very pleasant and anxiety free procedure. I was most nervous about my sedation as I am not a big fan of needles, but I can promise you I did not feel a thing and would absolutely recommend, over and over again !

About a year ago I lost one of my front teeth (due to hard chocolate and a root canal) and I've always been very nervous of dentist. I must say since I've been going to Dr. Younes my fear is slowly subsiding. I have since had an implant done and it looks amazing and feels good. Dr. Younes and his staff have always made me feel very comfortable and I am now bringing my daughter there (who will require braces). When it comes to financials they are helpful in working out plans that work for you. Highly recommend Dr. Younes and everyone who works there. (Would give five stars but I believe there is always room for improvements).

They were okay up until the point I had a lot of pain and problems after getting work done. Then they wouldn’t adapt to fit me in and they became very rude and unhelpful. I’m still dealing with this pain, almost 3 weeks later. I had NO problem before I went to see Dr. Bajcer Please don’t go here. You need someone who treats you well when something goes wrong. Which I know can happen but dentists should be held accountable for fixing them. He caused a major problem. Horrible experience too because he jabbed me twice and then had to freeze me a third time since he popped my retainer and was working on fixing that for 20 min. I was absolutely traumatized by the whole experience. Zero bedside manner too. Care and comfort were not his priority. He didn’t even introduce himself and him and the hygienist talked about hunting the whole time. Hope your experience is better than mine.

I recently suffered a dental emergency of epic proportions. Being new to the neighbourhood and no dentist in the area I was panic stricken. A google search led me to "You Make Me Smile." A quick call resulted in an appointment on the next business day. When I walked in the door, I was warmly greeted by the receptionist, Tracey and quickly ushered into a treatment room. When I met Dr. Shevket, I said I was hoping for a miracle worker. Dr. Shevket explained what he was doing. He was profession, efficient and certainly met my expectations. From the initial xray to the successful restoration of the tooth, I was so well looked after by everyone. I felt I had been a patient forever. I saw Dr. Younes as a new patient for 2 cavities. I was a little scared as I generally don't like the dentist and nobody likes to get a filling, let alone 2. I have been a patient for a few years and have always had great experiences from everyone there. Everyone is always pleasant. I have been having trouble with pain and bleeding with my teeth and gums. There were several things going on. Some was easily cleared up through medication and more recently through dental cleaning with Marie using ultra sonic tools. She made sure all the plaque was gone. She explained things to me and gave me tips to help with the pain and bleeding. Best way to brush with electric toothbrush and floss using proxabrushes. She reviewed my dental plan with me to help with treatment. For he first time in a long time my gums have stopped bleeding instantly. I am so grateful for Dr. Younes and his amazing staff. :)

I have bad anxiety about going to the dentist, but each time I set in Ewa's chair I feel 100% comfortable. As well, the COVID protocols were perfect, and I felt completely safe during my visit. I highly recommend You Make Me Smile Trenton to anyone. All of the staff are so friendly, and the cleanliness is incredible!

The facility was spotless, ALL the staff was extremely careful with following COVID requirements. My hygienist Cheyenne was THE BEST I HAVE EVER HAD !!! I had the best cleaning/polishing ever !!! Amanda was excellent, as always, She is so kind and communicative, which i really appreciate. She does an amazing job at balancing conversation while still getting her job done (and done well). Dr. Khoury is by far the best dentist I have ever had at applying freezing. I can't emphasize enough how amazing he is. Furthermore, when the freezing comes out, you don't feel any soreness associated with dentists being to rough on the surrounding tissue and muscle. The facility is first class and continue to demonstrate the highest level of Covid prevention while still staying true what sets them all apart from other dental offices - their genuine care and compassion for all of their patients. And I haven't even yet mentioned another amazing thing they do which made me select them to begin with - their commitment to free dentistry to those in need is more than unbelievable. That gift is life changing for so many in need and it makes me proud to support their business.

Thank you so much to Roxanne and everyone at You Make Me Smile! She made my experience so comfortable and informative and calmed my nerves throughout. I will definitely be back and asking for her! Update: I had a root canal done by Dr. Alkoury who was absolutely amazing, I didn't feel any pain throughout, not even during the numerous needles and probing. The crown looks amazing and I'm in little/no pain right afterwards. Can't thank him enough and Nandini for her upbeat attitude and ability to talk me through all my questions. Thank you also to Lisa and Lindsay who made the whole process a breeze! I'm smiling now!! :)
