Shame I have to give this place even 1 star.. I made an appointment for a bad toothache at Family Dental. At the apptment the dentist told me I'd have to make another appointment because she couldn't do it that afternoon. What? So I made another appt at the front desk for the following week and had to pay $100 for a 5 minute exam.. On the morning of my appointment I'm just going out the door and see a msg. It's Family Dental, my appt has been canceled because the dentist wants to check with my family doctor. What? So I call them and they can't tell me anything, the dentist is out.. Really.. So I get there at my appt time and ask for a refund because I have to get this aching tooth fixed, it's been over a week already. They can't issue a refund, the dentist isn't in, the manager is on vacation and only she has the authority? . Well the dentist shows up having been out somewhere and seems to not know what's going on and is apologetic. I'm not happy obviously.. So long story short,, I leave without my $100 refund and immediately drive up Murphy to Lakeshore Dental.. Walk in, ask to make an appointment. The receptionist tells me that if I can wait 20 minutes the dentist will see me. Dr. Sottosanti. He does. He takes an Xray,, and has my aching tooth fixed and I'm out the door in LESS than 40 minutes. I've since been back to Lakeshore for teeth cleaning.. it's a wonderful office, professional staff.. not like Family Dental on Michigan.

Visited the folks in the Belleville Clinic. They got me in immediately because of a brokem molar. Patched me up for the night so I wasn't in agony. Went right back in the next morning and, after weighing all options, we decided the best way to solve the issue was to pull the molar. 3 Follow up visits at no charge to make sure all was well. Everyone was awesome. Thank you

Worked with me to get me in quickly, direct bills my benefits too! My daughter's first dentist visit went so well & she was very comfortable, and it was a good experience. It has been over 10 years since I last saw a dentist and they took it slow and started off making sure I was comfortable and getting the work done in a timely manner to make sure I can have healthy teeth again! The hygienist that worked with me, Sabrina, was fantastic and she made sure I wasnt in any pain while doing work on my teeth, which I appreciated. Those little things matter when you have to put in a lot of time into a dental visit!

I had a great experience getting my teeth cleaned with here. The reception staff were polite and quick. Hunter was polite, professional, and provided great conversation while cleaning my teeth. At no point did I feel pressured to purchase additional services, but I was honestly advised to consider some of those services down the road. This was much appreciated. Bring your whole family for a toothy tune-up at the FDC!

I can't believe the prices they charge! My mom is on a fixed income and this company (Frankford location) charged her almost $500 for consultation and a prescription. They estimated her dental work at $7000 more. Comparatively, there's a GREAT clinic in Picton that estimated the same work at less than half the costs with free consultation. I'd only recommend this location if you have too much money and don't know where to put it.

A 4 year old Child needs more than just laughing gas for when getting a tooth filled and the dentist should have never explained to me that laughing gas would have been enough. My child just got mortified by getting a cavity filled; from what I was explained to what actually happened were 2 different things. We're now at a different dentist and on a mouthwash To fix what family dental center had done. Having my child's screaming in pain Ow it hurts and not doing anything other than telling her she's being silly I was not impressed at all. This dentist office seems great until you actually get in there and they have to do to work. I do not recommend them for any child Or parent as you will be told one thing and another will be done.

I just had a wonderful experience at the Frankford Family Dental Center! Rae Anne was my hygienist and took amazing care of me from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. I previously had a horrible experience and she knew I was anxious and was super careful with me & made me feel comfortable. I am now going more often now that I feel comfortable thanks to Rae Anne! She didn't try to push me into spending more money she just did what I needed and I'm so grateful ???? Thanks Rae Anne!

I've been a long time patient here and this is my last straw. I called today because I'm in alot of pain and I need an extraction done on my wisdom tooth. The receptionist told me I would have to wait until Friday for exam, and treated me like I wasnt worth her time... she was very rude on the phone, short with me and talked condescending to me. I called lambton family dental right after I got off the phone and they were happy to get me in today, not just for exam but for resolution (if its infected I cant get the extraction today which is understandable) and the receptionist was warm and welcoming. The only good thing I can say about family dental centre is the female dentist, she was the only reason I didnt switch sooner because she was great with my kids.

I have recently moved to the Belleville area, as a young female with meticulous oral care I was very confused as to why my hygienist proceeded to polish my teeth without my consent. I have been to multiple dental offices before as my family moves often, however this has never happened before. At these appointments i'm constantly acknowledged for my minimal deposit and complete lack of staining on my teeth. Allannah- the hygienist made me feel more like a "standardized procedure" rather than a person going above and beyond to take care of their health.

Although I like the dentist and hygienist. This is my last straw with the front desk staff. Had to pay for charges from over a year ago that wouldn't you know it wasn't there the previous 2 visits . Than showed up for my son's appointment that they sent a text with a time and date to her calling me a liar and that we were too early. Funny how I had it in my calendar and their text confirmation was the same but when we arrived it was an hour later and the font desk staff calling me a liar and that I was wrong. Time to look for a new location.

Broke a tooth on June 2, late at night. Called the next morning to the Family Dental Centre and was suprised to hear anyone pick up during this Covid-time. I have been going to this clinic for 15+ years and every appointment has been a wonderful experience. I don’t trust anyone else taking care of my teeth. I have had bad experiences at other clinics (from previously living out of province) but I have never had a bad experience here. All of the staff care a lot about their patients. The Belleville Family Dental Centre is the only dental office I will go to. Dr Grace is, without a doubt, the best dentist I have been to. She is incredibly gentle, kind, and very caring. I come to Family Dental Center for my routine cleanings and absolutely love it! It’s very clean and I love how up to date they are. The front staff is always welcoming and knowledgeable. The hygienist made me feel very comfortable and was very outgoing! I usually am nervous when getting dental work done, but Dr. Dalia made sure I felt no pain and always made sure I was doing okay. I have also brought my kids here and the girls were very patient, and my kids actually had a blast! The whole staff is amazing and I highly recommend going here.

My son is a new patient to the practice. Was told to be there at 10:40 am to do paper work. 11:10 am I went and asked how much longer. I was told your appointment is at 11 an shouldn't be to much longer. I said it's 11:10. I had to be out of there by noon. The receptionist said to tell the hygienists that I needed to be gone by noon. "Great it's going to be a rush job".Cleaning takes an hour. Finally at 11:20 am I told he receptionist I was leaving. Not a good experience.

Came here for regular cleaning//checkup. Front staff were very helping getting my coverage. The hygienist Autumn was absolutely amazing! Really great at her job and took care of me well. Never in my LIFE - Please take the time to read this. We recently moved into the area and my daughter made an appointment with this practice for my grandson. He went and had his cleaning x-rays and check-up. They were paid right there and then for there service. My daughter made another appointment to have some work done to his teeth. I dropped him off for his 2:50 PM appointment and was given an estimate. I said I would be back at 4:00 PM. Somewhere around 3:20 PM the office phoned my daughter to make sure they were getting paid for the work (she does not have coverage) and they told her they would not start any work on him until they knew they were getting paid. They then proceed to ask how they were getting paid. MY daughter told them by Debit............ When I went back the receptionist said it wasn't her and that it must have been the assistant who in turn said it came from the Dentist. Never in all my years have I had anyone do this to me or anyone I know. This treatment goes beyond unethical and is certainly disgusting behavior. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL................ I tried giving 0 stars but then I can't post the review

I couldnt agree more with Karly OConnor's review. We left here long ago due to this and I see its still continuing. The dentists seem to follow a random treatment plan which they don't bother communicating to you beforehand at all, and the "kid dentists" also have absolutely no interest in actually working with kids and refer nearly all pediatric patients somewhere else if they need anything other than a crown or easy filling. They are impatient and rude. Nothing "family" or welcoming about this place. I will say however the hygenists are great if you're coming here strictly for regular cleanings and maintenance and don't ever need anything else. Otherwise, expect to be treated as if you are negligent/"less than".

Wonderful Service!! I had my first visit with this office on May 21/21 And i have no complaints. All the staff I spoke to was super polite and professional. I was very nervous and my hygienist could tell and she made me feel very comfortable she talked me through everything she was doing and was very gentle and apologetic when things did poke or prod to hard. I will be asking for Hunter to do my cleaning every 6 months from now on! This is the most comfortable I have been at a dentist in a long time and i will be recommending this office to all my friends and family!

Very disappointed with the service. Never going back to this place. Horrible customer assistance. Charging my insurance for doing nothing. Called them to book an appointment to get prescription for mouth sore and they ended up recommending me to go get tested for covid instead when I was perfectly fine other than having mouth sore which I have been getting all my life. Also treated me like I was actually covid positive patient. It was so frustrating and humiliating. And she didn't even knew what I was in for. I already mentioned that I am booking an appointment because I have a mouth sore and she is still asking me if I was there for a toothache.

This dentist is amazing. I was pregnant and needed some dental work done immediately. They accommodated me and did an awsome job. Just recently I had a cracked tooth. I was extremely nervous about my procedure. They were very good at explaining everything and made sure all my questions were answered. The dentist was gentle and informative through the whole procedure. They also work on my daughter. She has had a few cavities filled and she has no fear at all going to the office. This is the best office I have been to. Anyone with kids should go hear. Bedside manner is amazing!!

Update: I was very pleased to receive a follow up call from the organization to review my case. I was treated with professionalism and courtesy. Our discussion quickly addressed the concern and offered a solution to my satisfaction. It is refreshing to find an organization that is well represented and is committed to the health of their clients. Not happy! Long time patient who first indicated a pain similar to that of a cracked tooth (filling) on December 20th visit. Charged for x-ray and substitute Dentist examination with no resolve. Second visit on July 2nd for a follow-up as tooth still bothering me. Substitute dentist again (covid-19) with another charge for x-ray and examination, no resolve. Total cost now for both visits $300.00. Tooth shattered today, August 12th. Out of town, and will now have to seek repair elsewhere as tooth root exposed and extremely sensitive. I will be looking for a response from Family Dental Service, as I feel as a client services provided for this issue were not dealt with properly over a 6 month period. I await your response.

Dr. Dalia is amazing! She does excellent dental work and is very kind. Very good at giving needles, you don't even feel it. She is very calm, gentle and thorough! The office is also very clean and bright and welcoming. I would recommend this place to anyone who is a coward. They seem to cater to cowards like me.

I was recommended by the Belleville location which they are great, but Frankfort location no so happy with their customer service, they are rude, I have spend almost $6000 in my Invisalign treatment, the dentist has been busy on maternity leave she only can take their patients on Wednesday’s and the times are awful, I’m a busy business men and their times are not flexible, if you call to change your appointment they send you 2 or 3 weeks later so my treatment seems that never is going to end! I think if something like that is happening and the dentist is not able to take you they should refer you to a different one! I’m not up set because of the dentist I know is something that’s right but the receptionist answers and attitude on taking the phone calls are not great! Can’t wait to finish my treatment and stick with Belleville location! I won’t recommend Frankfort location!

Want to give zero star if I could. My daughter cried for 2 hours because Dr. Was screaming the whole time. Extremely bad service, never been to the Dr. Office like this one. Owner does not even take Kids or cheap cases. After giving us a quote of $800 for fillings, Dr. Fixed more stuff without even asking us. End up paying $1800!!! DO NOT GO unless you are looking for a bad tempered overcharging dentist!!!
