Recently one of my old fillings fell out and left a big hole. I checked a few dentists in the Barrie area. Tooth Corner has the most reasonable charges. The dentist and assistant worked well together and made sure I had everything I needed, making good suggestions to ease my comfort and advice to ensure long life of my teeth. Because of the size of the filling it took a couple of hours as the dentist wanted it perfect. My wife called me on the cell wondering what happened to me. When it was time to pay the bill the staff were very attentive and the cost was less than I expected. The next week I went back for another filling that unexpectedly came loose. The experience and result were good like the first time.

Unimaginably rude. Went in for an initial consult due to tooth pain while pregnant about a year ago without realizing I would need to divulge that information and told them before starting the appointment i'd like no x-rays because of it and got the rudest interactions from there on out from the receptionist and all the staff including the dentist... Making me feel bad about having cavities and sensitive gums... And I by no means have bad teeth, I've never even had a cavity before. Very judgy and harsh about everything telling me i had to come in every three months from there on out and take better care of myself not to mention astronomical prices compared to any other dentist... Over 300$ for a checkup and cleaning without even taking x-rays. I keep getting emails that I'm due to come in and I will NEVER be back, so please, stop emailing me.

With just moving to Barrie I had not found a dentist yet. I was going to work at getting one alittle later on. Others things needed attended too be first. Well needless to say I was in need of one Friday night at 7:30pm. when my top molar broke exposed the nerve. That never pain. Ya RIGHT! IT DIDN'T PAI N.Found this office open for service until 9:00pm. Pleased they were able to fit me in that night took x-ray then pulled tooth.Never felt anything not even the needles to freeze the area. Very helpful and great patient services. I would recommend this office The Tooth Corner to any family member or friend. Great job and thanks for making my weekend if not it could have been a weekend from hell. Keep up the great job. Been here twice now, and I'll say two main things: 1. I am a new patient, and do not know the name of the male nor female middle eastern dentists, but that matters little. Best dentists I have ever seen, and I've only been cared for in Parry Sound. Never experienced such gentle, thorough care. Also, I have never received so much care in one day. In Parry Sound, no matter what you need done, fillings are done after a cleaning or not at all, and you will rarely ever have both things done in one appointment. X-rays here are all old school, by no means digital, and take about 15 minutes each to develop while you sit there waiting, and they do nothing in the meantime of doing so. It just goes on, but you get the idea. You also cannot use ODSP or OW for any dentist in our community, as they no longer accept it. 2. Both times I have been seen, my hygienist has been Andy (I hope I heard it right), and she is hands down the kindest, most gentle and thorough one I've had anywhere in almost 30 years. Was totally thrilled to have her again today, knowing I wouldn't be leaving in pain. Bar none best dental office you'll ever find.

Took two apointments and $400 for my partner to be told she had an abcess and to go to the missigauga location. She was only given 5 days worth of ant biotics that ran out the day before the root canal. they gave her no pain killers and when she asked they didn't belive her when she told them she got the root canal they sugessted at a branch of their own organization. A few weks after the root canals she got re-infected and the dentist after charging for an examination shrugged and wouldn't do anything. There is swelling and pain and soemthing is obviously not right but the dentist seems to think its perfectly healthy.

This office was the ONLY out of 4 in Barrie who were willing to help remove 4 teeth from my 18 month old, as they had been broken by a hockey stick. I have since taken all my kids there and have been so happy with the staff and Doctors. I highly recommend and always will!

Very dissappointed. I went with there twice, same story, first time they tried to convince me to remove all my wisdom teeth when only one was the problem. Second time at another branch, they tried to make it look more legit by advising me to remove 2 wisdom teeth when I still had only one tooth causing problem, and the problem does not affect any other teeth. Looks like they are after my teeth. No politeness, communication difficulties among staff Cared about removing the max teeth they can (more money) Happy I didn't fall into the trap 2 times. There won't be a 3rd time.

One branch "forgot" to reschedule my appointment today, appointment at 12:30 but they open at 10am and didn't have time to notify the reschedule? AND THEN ON THE OTHER SIDE OF TOWN my roommate had three root canals which wasn't even the reason for the appointment... and ON THE WRONG TOOTH. I've had a notorious fear of getting dental work done for the looongeeessstttt time, the Tooth Corner on Erb st. changed that. I had a great experience, their team went above and beyond from being able to schedule me at a time that works for me (thank you Elisha), Dr Angel was very comforting through my root canal treatment, I can become a big drama queen with tooth discomfort, the drama queen didn't make an appearance LOL, also her dental assistant (Krista) was amazing. This is the first time ever I could share with others how calm I felt throughout the appointment and had a few giggles along the way. Thank you, for your dedication and the time, I can smile again without worries.

I do not recommend these guys. They basically pressured me into a root canal that I don’t believe I needed. And they maxed out my insurance. When I called for follow up, the dentist that pressured me into this no longer works there. So maybe that’s a good thing ????‍♂️

Son had to wait over an hour for his appointment that had already been changed by 2.5 hours the day before by the office. I understand things happen but a heads up that they were running behind would of been great but not one word of them being an hour and 15 minutes behind schedule. Overall they all seem friendly and caring but happy to go back to our regular dentist.

They didn't know what they were doing, scrambling across the office, and calling other dentists for help. Reception was very cold, and unhelpful. The office should have been more prepared, given that I explained the oral issues that they were unequipped to handle on the phone days before the appointment. I left the office crying.

Dr. Angel did some fillings in my front teeth to close a gap in my teeth and it was an incredible job! She was super friendly and knowledgeable. You cannot see that i have bonding even if you try. Worst ever Dentist and Receptionist. First time I went with my husband to find out a quote for basic cleaning and book an appointment for both of us. Receptionist gave us a quote for $249 for each and after insurance we have to pay them for about $45 each. We booked an appointment for next week. Receptionist told us that Dentist will take about 45 min to 1hr for cleaning and Dr. will do 2 times scale removal for $110. For me, Just X-rays took 10 mins bcz X-ray machines are very old and not patient friendly. It hurts alot. Dr. came and started my scaling. He didn't even took 10 mins. Just cleaned 1 time and said because of too much bleeding he can't see/remove my scaling. Not even a single drop of a blood came out from my mouth and it didn't even hurt or felt like my gums were bleeding. He told me to visit again and pay extra $110 for 2nd time scaling. which was supposed to included in the same visit as per Receptionist. They took my husband after 25 mins and his cleaning done within 30 mins. Even he was not satisfied with the process. We again came to reception area to pay our bill, and shockingly receptionist gave us a bill of $84 each. Overall, We are not satisfied with the services.

Horrible experience from the younger white doctor with the beard. I was in the worst pain and when I got there he took a look and told me nothing was there. Made me seem like I was just there to get a prescription. I got frustrated told him to look again, turns out I need surgery on my jaw. He was so rude and it was so uncomfortable. He blamed me for not showing him correctly. When I DID. Worst experience. He acted like he was the smartest in the room. Im not stupid doctor I know exactly what you were thinking when you made me feel crazy for coming there. I am getting my surgery else where.

I went to the tooth corner in Barrie Ontario in the Bayfield mall. I guess they have more than one location? Anyways my experience at the one in Barrie was aweful. I had gone there a few times back when it was called Bayfield dental and had stopped going since I was not happy with the service. I recently had an emergency where my one tooth was swollen and extremely painfull and had to go their during these covid19 restrictions to get help with it. They spent 45 mins trying to figure out the problem and were unable to diagnose what was wrong with it - then charged me $240. Only to tell me to keep following up with them so they could diagnose the problem. They told me to keep a list of what triggers the pain and then let them know. When I tried to follow up with them about what triggers the pain I was given the run around. It's very clear to me that this place only cares about the money and not helping people.

Think i found my new dentist. I came in for cleaning, x rays and dental check. Have not been in several years and unsure of what to expect. They explained what was covered under my benefits, checked my tmj and were very understanding that i can not keep my mouth open without a break and can't open that wide. Payton did a great job on my cleaning and explained what she was doing at each stage, while letting me take small breaks to ensure pain from tmj was minimal. Need some more work done and certainly will be coming back. Receptionists were all friendly and the best part is the pricing is reasonable... compared to the private dentists in barrie( looking at you,$500 cleanings). Awesome job.

I went to Bayfield location. I need a treatment soon. But it was very disappointing and horrible service. Receptionist don't do their job.I'm the one who have to contact them so many times to schedule appointment. It took them more than 2 weeks for only send an email. And the Dentist did the wrong exam without explanation.

Dr Mahar is amazing. His assistant Terri is awesome. Very professional and the front staff are great. Would highly recommend to anyone who needs a dentist. Fantastic crew!!!!

Mahar* correct me if I'm wrong on that spelling however he is a wonderful dentist with a very soft gentle touch and he also has a soothing soft accent witch is always something I enjoy :) I love how they offer emergency booking as they care about their patients and they put us first knowing the pain teeth can cause sometimes they are truly so understanding and amazing lovely staff and dental team ????‍♂️????‍♀️????????

I went to The Tooth Corner Dental Office after chipping a front tooth. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The dentist saw me within an hour and repaired the tooth very quickly. I went there for first time in order to get dental cleaning done by them. It was only finished within 30 minutes and flossing was left inbetween. Doctor did start with flossing but left all the molars. I was surprised at their service and also they kept on throwing the water over my face while cleaning and i had to constantly use the kleenex. Very bad experience. They are not professional on their services

I had been going to the Tooth Corner for years, but in 2014 I had moved and had to switch dentists. Recently due to my employment being switched back to Barrie, I had the opportunity to come back. I was welcomed back like an old friend, and felt like no time has passed. We chat about my family and what's going on in their lives like no time has passed. I'm so happy to be back with the Tooth Corner Family. I have anxiety when a hygienist is switched, and they made sure I went straight back to the same employee so that I felt comfortable. I LOVE their customer service and general rule of business. HIGHLY RECOMEND this place!

My son had his wisdom teeth out at another clinic on a Friday. Two days later he is in extreme pain,, of course our regular dentist office is closed. So I googled who was open on a Sunday,, called the Tooth Corner, they took him in,,, treated him as he had dry socket. When I went to pay,,, they said " there is no fee, please let us know if he needs anything else" Wow as all I can say! We were not even their clients. I highly recommend this dentist office. The staff were so amazing ad the service was above any other place. THANK YOU THE TOOTH CORNER! We will be back.

Kindly accomodating, she booked an appointment right away, even during a time most dental offices were closed. Dr. Zaheer diagnosed two teeth needing immediate attention, and explained the integral role of dental procedures improving overall wellbeing, addressing dental issues with care for whole health, preventing deteriorating consequences and avoiding complications compromising wellness. In all honesty I have bad teeth. I’ve been to multiple different dentists throughout my young years, and let me tell you it DOES make a HUGE difference when you can properly communicate with your dentist and feel welcomed. I was really nervous to change from my previous dentist in Mississauga as I had grown so use to just going there over the years but for commuting purposes and having moved Barrie is much closer. The staff at tooth corner dentistry are so pleasant and welcoming, they always give me reminders a day before my appointment and are very professional. Dr. Amar is my dentist, him and his partner are very respectful, honest and always put my comfort and needs first. He also is all about precsion which I like, this is very important to me as in the past I have had dentists do a quick job and rush just to get their day over with, and I would end up with the filling breaking off within a few days due to plain ignorance. Dr Amar likes to do things right even if that means another 45mins or an hour, he wants to make sure his work will last and his patient will be comfortable long term. I highly recommend this dental office!

This so called nice place for kids is a crock, my daughter-in-law and son went in with my 4 year old grandson only to have been told that because he had had a french frie before going in to surgery that she and my son were not responsible parents and that my grandson could die if an ambulance could not get there in time. So maybe they should have a friend or grandparent bring him in the next time. So my daughter-in-law tried to reschedule and the doctor had said " no that they would not accept him as a patient because they can not apparently take proper care of him. Not only is he only 4 he does have some behavioral issues which Tooth Corner didnt take into account and just simply dismissed them. NOT ACCEPTABLE NOR TOLERATED. Absolutely disgusting how they were treated. So if you decide to take your little ones there think twice or make sure your a responsible parent or you will be dismissed as well. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE BEHAVIOR

Very very unhappy they still can't fix my filling. THEY CANNT FINISH DENTAL WORK THEY STARTED .??? Didn't have dental supplies. had to go back couldn't finish procedure ! had to go back again . I'LL NEVER FORGET !! Had to leave and find another dentist after 4 times same tooth and weeks of trying to schedule to be fixed with temporary in.wy to many needles . Since I had to leave office and find another dentist . I do not recommend anyone go threw what I just went threw . This office doesn't care .

So I came in as a new patient. I have no coverage for dental work, I asked only for teeth cleaning and to do something about a tooth that's cutting into my tongue as it has broken off. Immediately I'm told I have to book an appointment for examination first and then they will tell me what needs to be done. It will cost me $400. Disgusting.

I went to the office for new pt exam and cleaning, I am very happy with my hygienist Sara, she was very gentle and did a great job cleaning my teeth. My dentist Dr. Shahab was also awesome, he carefully checked my teeth and explained everything to me. Overall I am very happy with my experience and I definitely go back for my dental work.
