Very fancy, top of the line equipment, lots of bells and whistles to make you feel comfortable and a very friendly staff. Their cleaners are sweethearts. Also whoever decided to add that smooth jazz ambient music, good stuff. I do feel like the new 'prize machine' thing in the corner is a bit tacky and takes away from everything else but hey, kids go there too I guess. Great place.

Started with the first phone call. I had a gut feeling this place would be great. I have struggled with dental problems my whole life and some dentists have helped others have not. This was my first visit and they gave me a full treatment plan and are going to help me to their fullest potential. Dr. Lee was caring and honest with me and I have all my trust in him. I love the fact that you are up to date with the most efficient technology and know how to use it with ease. This made for a memorable first experience. Went here with my 17 year old they took him in did x-rays and then found out we have ODSP coverage told him they wouldn’t accept that and tried to charge me $200.00 for a 10 minute wait and x-rays. They could tell people on the phone first off second I can not believe people turn a child away in excruciating pain. You should be ashamed. $460.00 to remove a child’s tooth. Not cool and not impressed with this dental office sad they are just a money grab

Needed my wisdom teeth out and my regular dentist wasn’t available for quiet some time as they have a specialist come from the city. Was in so much pain and had to call around to see who not only dealt with wisdom teeth but direct billed and didn’t cost and arm and a leg. Park Place Dental was the cheapest location as well as the friendliest. Taylor went over all my options and gave me an idea of how much it would be from best to worst case scenario so I didn’t go in and have a surprise bill. They accepted my X-rays from my regular dentist and we got everything set up and organized within 24 hours. Went in today and Dr. Joo was so friendly and polite. Barely felt a thing, numbed me up real good and I’m back home recovering nicely. They’re closer to home than my regular dentist and it appears I may be making a permanent switch to them. Super clean and safe with Covid. Highly recommend.

I visited here today for an X-ray to check my tooth. ° Park Place Dental is very clean, organized and has a modern look outside and in. ° Staff is extremely polite and professional and answer all questions with ease. ° Prices are very fair, even without dental insurance. Because of Covid19, they are very thorough when you walk inside. Temperature check and hand sanitizer are a must. Because of the professionalism and the way I was treated ( Treated extremely well ). The staff at this office are amazing to say the least. Dr. Moore is incredible, she is kind, patient, caring and has a heart. Dr. Moore and Tiffany worked on my two year old son, they were so patient with him while waiting for him to calm and the medicine to work, when it came time for him to get his work done, they moved so quickly and had him snuggling in my arms in no time. I cannot say enough wonderful things about everyone at this office. I highly recommend them and without a doubt, I will be bringing the rest of my children here from now on.

I have nothing but kind words for this place. From all of the kind and professional staff to the spotless and clean treatment areas. Dr.Lim along with Mailey and remaining dental hygienist and front staff members really know how to treat anyone walking through those doors. Both my wife and I have had multiple visits and absolutely appreciate everyone and what they do. They listen, educate, and inform you to make sure your comfortable with whatever treatment you are getting done. Living in Barrie, this is our choice for family dental office! :D Bonus: You can catch up on any movies or shows with there ceiling hung TV's (NETFLIX) right above the chairs. You cannot eat popcorn though..

I had an urgent case where my very old crown fell out and infected root canal was exposed! As I’ve moved here recently, i had to find a new dentist right away. I chose this dental office as it had the most good reviews out of all and boy, am I glad I did. Dr.Joo quickly assessed my tooth and gave me different options and explained everything carefully. The front desk staff provided me with the estimate which made me feel comfortable as I was a bit anxious about the cost and didn’t want to end up with an massive bill after my treatment. During the surgery, Dr.Joo always checked to make sure I was comfortable and even brought me a neck pillow! Having a TV right above also really helped as I was distracted by endless episodes of friends! The surgery went really well and my tooth healed quickly! Overall I give 5/5. Everything was done very professionally and efficiently - it was a flawless experience and I’d definitely recommend Park Place to my friends and family! Thank you for saving my tooth, Dr.Joo!!!

Went for a first time cleaning, had to pay 477. Didn’t think to ask how much it would cost because usually your own dentist doesn’t try to rob you. They nickel and dime you for every single service they provide. All in all it wasn’t a great cleaning definitely not worth 500. Won’t be returning.

Absolutely amazing... our 4yo needed a horrible filling, and had an awful experience at another dental practice in Barrie. After a lot of convincing, he agreed to try another dentist to get his tooth fixed. I am sure that he would have never wanted to see the dentist again if they had been any less amazing than they were. Dr. Moore was so good with him that he helped pick his next appointment! Everyone there is incredibly attentive and professional, and they go out of their way to know our family. Sam the receptionist looks forward to seeing him every time he comes in. I don't often write reviews but this office is GREAT! I have had the same dentist my whole life and was nervous to switch but I could not be happier with Barrie Park Place Dental! All of the staff are lovely to interact with and the office is super clean. They explain everything to you and also show you your xrays/completed work up on a big screen so you can see/understand what was done in your mouth. They have great customer service and are very gentle and thorough with their work in your mouth. I'm 100% happy and would recommend them to others. Also- Dr Joo gives needles that don't hurt! It's magic.

I got Park Place Dental suggested by Opencare as I had toothache and jaw pain. They already had great reviews and was hoping for a great experience and it was a great experience indeed! State of the art technology and the staff there were amazing. I was also amazed how they sat me down and discussed about the treatments that need to be done and having the price breakdown. It gave me a much clearer picture of the work that needs to be done and the price breakdown. One thing that I didn't understand why there was a need to pay when I had insurance. I never paid extra with my previous dentist.

1st visit snd was definitely impressed. The entire team there are very friendly, and the services were fantastic. The office is great with ceiling mounted TV and Netflix really help to pass the time and make the experience more pleasant. They lay out a plan for you and options as well as getting quotes from your insurance provider to avoid surprises which is fantastic. Would highly recommend.

I called at this clinic at 2pm in the afternoon after attempting to get ahold of my previous dentist all day. By 6pm, Park Place had completed a VERY comprehensive exam including cameras and 360 xrays and corrected the severe pain I was experiencing. When I was done, they had already processed my claim through my benefits and had all my paperwork ready to go. I’m now moving my entire family to this amazing facility!

Very disappointed with the office staff .. The dental assistant and dentist are great but the office manager and office staff are rude and unprofessional. I never had any issues when Samantha was doing the appointment bookings .. I was informed by the office manager that she was fired ( unprofessional to tell a client this ) Ever since she has been let go I have had appointments booked on days different then what I wrote down .. Times completely different .. When I called to clear this situation up the office manager clearly had attitude and didn't care about my concerns. I will find a new dentist!

This is a dentist that I will be happy to stay at for a time.The staff is phenomenal, the doctors are knowledgable, professional, and personable. The equipment is top notch, the office is modern, clean, and beautiful. Amenities include a space for kids to play, within the waiting room their is coffee and drinks for those who have wait around, televisions in the rooms which is a great distraction during exams or procedures. It is a all around great family dentist I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist or someone who is looking for a dentist with longer flexible hours or just looking for a change. The entire staff from the front admin to the hygienist to the dentist were all very kind and welcoming. I don't usually leave reviews unless it is totally necessary. Well, I was in Toronto for 6 months for work and needed a dentist urgently to check up on a tooth that had been bothering me for a long time. I passed by this office and it seemed to be nice so I walked in. After a thorough exam with Dr.Joo, he noticed multiple problems with my old fillings. I was shocked as I just got my semi-annual check up with my dentist in Vancouver. It turned out that there were a few cavities under my old fillings! He actually took photos and showed them to me. No wonder why I was in pain for so long!!!!!! They were able to book me in right away and fixed everything. Honestly, i am not in pain anymore and I just don't understand HOW my Vancouver dentist can miss these! Needless to say, I will be looking for a new dentist back home. I went in to Park Place Dental today to have a wisdom tooth removed. The office was tidy, the staff were friendly and professional. I noticed they had video games and toys for kids to keep them busy, which I thought was pretty cool. Above the dentist chair is a tv where you could watch Netflix while your procedure was being done. The dentist was friendly and professional and made a procedure I was dreading, into a not so bad one. It wasnt nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be! I would definitely recommend this office and I will be coming back for all my family's dental needs.

My wife recently went in for a routine cleaning and had a very unpleasant experience. Usually when we go in for an appointment they directly bill to our insurance company. This time they slapped us with a $170 bill upfront. When I had asked why we were suddenly being charged, they initially explained that our insurance only covers $55 for a cleaning (in the many times that we have been there they had NEVER mentioned this). After the receptionist spoke to their manager the reason for charging us had changed. Apparently they had to do a scaling cleaning and that's why it was so expensive...and it won't be covered by insurance. If only they would have mentioned that in the first place. We are not happy with their customer service and will not be returning after this incident.

I chipped my tooth Monday evening and I am now all fixed up, like it never happened. I got in quickly and the repair took less than 30 minutes. I was able to see the chip before and after, on the tv screen and I was comfortable the entire time. Everyone is always so kind. Thank you for everything Park Place Dental!

All they care about is making money...and I overheard the Dentist, Dr. Moore talking and I was in shock. Completely unethical and I will never step foot in that office again. I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW!!!!!! Park Place Dental refuses to see essential workers!!! I had an appointment booked 2 weeks in advance and took time off only to be refused.When I arrived there they screened me (I had no temperature or symptoms) and said to wait in the waiting room to be called in by the dentist. A short time later they approached me and told me to leave the waiting room and go back outside. Ten minutes later they came out and said they wouldn't see me unless I self isolated for 14 days! As per Canadian Government, I am exempt from the 14 day quarantine laws. I have been a patient here for 3 years and they very well know my profession. As a matter of fact I was in to see them right after Covid 19 restrictions relaxed never had a problem then. Being a front line worker I take extreme precautions for the well-being of everyone. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!! Going forward if they are going to DISCRIMINATE against front line workers they should let them know at the time of booking so we are not taking away time we could be helping others!

I had a payment issue with Park Place Dental. I was informed I had a cleaning upcoming. I was hesitant due to the fact I had just had a procedure done a few months prior. I agreed to the appointment, and the cleaning went great. My hygienist was great. I went to leave and was asked to pay for the visit. This has never happened to me in 25yrs, I and my spouse both have benefits. If I was near the end of my benefit year I would never have had a cleaning that I don't feel was necessary. I have learned a lesson from this and will not trust the dental office to inform me of my benefit limitation, as other offices have in the past. My family and I will find another dental office.

This place over charges and if you have insurance be sure to check the bill. They try to over bill your insurance company. When you catch them they extort you and harass you. Additionally the work is terrible and the dentists are money grabbers

Have to say that I was very impressed with my first visit. Dr. Joo, Dr. Moore and Dr. Lee were all very attentive, clear and transparent regarding the procedures I had done. The dental office looked brand new, was clean and I had a quick turn around time. Reception staff were courteous and helpful while waiting. Reception also has a kids play area off to side which makes this dental office very family friendly! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone looking for a new dentist.

Bad experience. Had a procedure booked for February 4th which I booked 2 days off work for. My wife took time off from her job. Was called in for another scan on monday february 1. Dr lee who was very nice said no lets scrub february 4th and book it 2 weeks from now because of something he needed to prepare. Im out two vacation days at work. My wife loses a days pay. Then I was told my benefits would cover nothing. They did offer me a payment plan but no one offered to book a new date just a focus on what my costs would be and options. Theres at minimum poor communication here but I was left with the impression that the financial side took priority and there are no shortage of similar reviews. I came home and cancelled everything, still needing dental work and now looking for another dentist. I dont leave a lot of reviews but im out vacation days and full unpaid day for my wife. Would not recommend.

My son Oliver had a horrible accident with a mini stick and both of his permanent front teeth where broken. I contacted my dentist who referred me to an emergency dental office in New Market!!!!! I was panicking as it was at least a 45 minuet drive and storming out. To make things worse it was 5:00 pm on a Saturday and not many dental offices we’re open. Then I was lucky enough to find Park Place Dental. Tiffany the hygienist went out of her way to help me contact other dental offices that may take us,as they were closing soon and the dentist was on is way home. With no luck with finding anything open Tiffany contacted the dentist from Park place dental and they came all the back from driving home to help my 8 year old son. There is not many people left in the world who go beyond the call of duty now a days . It really left a great impression of the compassion and dedication the team at Park Place has for its patients and even those who are not. We are so grateful and happy.

Honestly finding a good dental office is extremely hard, well at least I did until now. First visit was very good, the office was very upscale and warm upon entering. Tiffany was great with explaining everything and ensuring I was comfortable the entire time. Dr.Lee was very good also and I was overall happy with the experience. Didn't wait long and was able to have some dental work done in the same day! Enjoyed the netflix in the room! If anyone is skeptical of looking for a new dental office look no more.

Called to book an examination, got in that day. Dr Joo was a straight shooter and told it like it is. Was given the price to have root canal, crown etc fully explained along with payment options. LOL TerryLynn gave me payment options in the fancy consultation room. Ive had 3 teeth extracted in the past due to not being able to afford a root canal so this should be a big deal to tthose self emplyed peeps out there. I got in 2 days later, had everything done at once. 4 hrs later I'm home and just ate dinner. No pain. Extremely impressed I've never seen anything like it. Terry Lynn and Jamie figured out all the logistics and paperwork like 20 year veterns. In the room Anna and Dr Joo worked together in unison. Professional, gentle, good price, clean and tidy workplace and great location. I've been terrified and avoided dentists at all costs after some bad experiences however if I had met this team earlier in my life, how things could have been differn't for me. I'm a big wuss and I was made to feel very comfortable and kept at ease. The gas helped to :) I've found my new dentist for sure. All the group there should be very proud of themselves as they're very good at what they do. For the first time in 46 years I'm not cringing at returning in 2 weeks. Terrific experience. Had a semi urgency. Called blind at 3:30 on a Saturday and they saw me at 5p. Reception staff were very nice and welcoming (reception at the front should get a raise). No wait, seen right away. Dr. Lee was very professional, took time to explain what was what. Worked very efficiently. Staff also excellent. Rooms clean, high tech equipment. Very reasonable fees. Whole experience from start to finish 5+. (BTW, I’m a physician so I know professional, courteous, and efficient practice—this is the model).

This is our family's 3rd dentist. We switched once because we moved, and once because our first find in Barrie wasn't a good fit. Then we tried here and have been happy with our choice. From my first call Sam was very welcoming and reassuring, and Tiffany made my kids and I feel comfortable during cleanings, and Dr. Moore answered all of my questions with care and detail. I find all the staff work well together, professionally, with no office tension which helps create a calm aand trusting environment. It is extremely clean, they offer distractions (Netflix, xbox) to help take your mind off of being at the dentist, and have a caring staff that will go above and beyond to help. They do not scold you about not brushing or flossing enough or criticize your teeth. They just tell you their findings and advise you on what should be done. They direct bill to insurance which is super helpful. My son is beginning orthodontics now (braces) and I feel that he is in good hands at this dental office.

My tooth were my biggest shame and for a sales guy that talks for living, having a black tooth makes me scared to smile.. came to accompany my wife and just thought maybe have them assess my tooth and see what they have to say... After the assessment, they gave me a detailed plan on how to fix the problem... Then I came for 2 visits to clean my tooth (had to do it in 2 cuz it is actually really bad)... Cleaning was done very professionally and the result was very effective. How I can tell? My tooth used to bleed every morning while brushing and it stopped immediately after the cleaning... Extremely happy about the outcome. Today I came to start the "fixing problem" part of the plan and they said they would fix the 2 front teeth... Guess what, I just came out of it feeling like I came out of magic house instead of dental clinic!!! I GOT MY WHITE SMILE BACK!!! Huge thanks to all staff at this clinic and a big special thanks to doctor Lee.... BEST DENTIST!!

Was told that everything is taking care of and covered under my benefits but after a year I found out accidentally that I owed almost $2000 !!!! No calls, no messages, no voice mails telling me this!!! Amazing follow up and communication. P.S: the worst part is that the Dental Place sent the “owing amount” to the collector agency without even trying to contact me! Thanks a lot! Now I have to deal with that plus to build up my credit score again!

Due to their constant calling and texting, even though they were told number of times not to call and text, I had to stop seeing this place. I explained to assistant manager (manager is on mat leave, I was told) that I was being harassed and need to stop going to them. I didn’t receive compassion from assistant manager. My original request for phone calls to stop was 6 months ago and I was told that will be done. Week ago phone calls started again with appointment remainder and they were 2 on Saturday and one text message on Sunday. I only requested automated text message which in did get and replied with C which means confirmed. Get your record straight before you reply to reviews. Own up to your mistakes instead of making excuses or saying I refused to make communication changes.

Highly recommended!! I live in Ottawa but I come to Barrie Park Place Dental for my regular check up and dental care whenever I visit my parents in Toronto. Why? Because of highly skilled doctors that cares about patients, top-notched facilities, and excellent staffs with great services. That's why my parents have also become their regular patients. Amazing dental practice! Called as a last minute out of towner needing some instant tooth pain relief. From first call they made it simple. Krista had me set up with all the paper work that I quickly filled out and signed online. Liz Davis was an excellent hygienist with great chair side manner and Dr. Lim explained the pain I was experiencing and my options to fix. They had me on my way with pain meds and antibiotics in short order. Highly recommend this team. Thank you!
