With Bioclear Dr. May was able to create perfectly white straight teeth and fixed the gaps between my teeth at the gum line (black triangles) all while keeping my own teeth completely intact (no cutting or grinding away). Dr Chapnick is the best in Barrie. I had a particularly sensitive area around my lower teeth, it seem like it was sensitive to everything, hot, cold even to touch. Dr Chapnick was able to fully remedy the issue by doing a small painless surgery. He took the time to explain the procedure in full before and while he was doing it. I was also very impressed with his assistant as they seem to flow flawlessly together-great team. Ive also seen Dr Chapnick for TMJ pain, he made me a removable orthadic to wear at night. Prior to moving to Barrie in 1995 my history of dental care was dismal. All my life I had experienced discomfort and pain when visiting dentists. My parents tried several different practitioners throughout my childhood with the same results. Fast-forward to my 20`s and things didn`t improve, resulting in infrequent check-ups and more ``critical care`` visits. This, coupled with limited or no dental insurance plans for several years defined my level of dental care as bare minimum. Shortly after arriving in Barrie, I was in need of some critical care and discovered Molson Park Dental. They were relatively new in town and I met with Dr. Chapnick, who took the time to review my history and ask a lot of questions. From that meeting forward Molson Park Dental has provided wonderful care to our whole family. Over 20 years later, I can`t say enough about Dr. Chapnick and all the staff I have dealt with over the years. Everyone is thoroughly professional, friendly and efficient. I broke one of my molars yesterday and was in need of a dentist. As a brand new patient (who has serious anxiety over visiting the dentist), I was pleasantly surprised how nice and pleasant Danielle was on the phone when I called this morning. Danielle listened to my rambling and assured me I would be ok and they could help me out and offered me an appointment this afternoon. I was greeted by Sarah (who offered a warm welcome and reassurance). I was very embarrassed during my appointment as my anxiety was getting the best of me. Andrea and Dr. Chapnick were so patient and simply wonderful. Dr. Chapnick talked me through everything he was doing and ensured that I was comfortable during the entire process. He is knowledgeable, personable, and really does care about his patients. Andrea did all she could to help with my anxiety, and did a wonderful job ensuring my experience was a positive one. Recently changed Dentists to Dr Chapnick, and I'm very pleased that I did. 2 fillings, 2 crowns, and a cleaning, and I am very happy with all of the work done. Freezing was pain free, procedures were smooth, Dr Chapnick was easy to work with and very knowledgeable regarding bite issues and TMJ. His assistant Coriane was excellent. She made me feel at ease, and took away my anxiety before the treatments. I had lots of questions, and her competence and demeanor was very reassuring. Can't say enough about how well they worked together. Will be pursuing further treatment in the coming year, and will certainly request the two of them to treat me. The hygienist (Cindy Boddington) was very pleasant, professional and informative. I actually walked away with some great tips and suggestions, and that's what I was hoping for. She was really great with kids too.. I made a note of that before and after my cleaning. This place is exceptional, I would highly recommend it. Thanks again!!

I’ve struggled to find a dentist in Barrie that I feel comfortable with and I finally found Dr May! I had crowns on my 2 front teeth that were very discoloured and needed to be replaced and every dentist I went to was either hesitant to replace them or was judgemental and didn’t explain my options. Dr. May and the staff at Molson Park dental not only are the kindest humans you will meet but they explained all my options, and were extremely transparent with me. Dr. May was truly dedicated to my care and was available any time if I had a question or concern! Coriane who completed my cleaning while my temporary crowns were on was so helpful during the after care process and so knowledgeable! Andrea the dental assistant was so thoughtful and it felt like talking to a friend! I’m so happy with my new teeth and will recommend anyone to Molson park dental! I am new to Barrie, and I needed a tooth pulled, and I also have an issue with my jaw. The Molson Park Dental office was amazing, I felt like I was going to the spa, not to the dental office. I was received with the most professional & friendly front staff. They offered me tea, water. I sit in the chair and the dental assistant offers me a warm neck pack, soft music. Than I have an x-ray, it was really neat. Dr. Chapnick came in examined the area, and said lets get this out. Very nice man, and very gentle, said he would take me on as a patient. I would recommend Molson Park Dental office to anyone, I have never been treat so well in any dentist office before, and I really liked it as I am not one to go to the dentist. Well, what can I say? I can say I had the absolute best dental experience in my life at Barrie Molson Dental. I could not wait to get this root canal. From a prior exam at a local popular dental office, I have used many times in the past who said I must be put to sleep and or gassed and was told multiple times it was going to be very invasive to-> I’m like time to take a second look at a 5-star dental clinic. Dr Chapnick is a very compassionate person who spoke to me over the phone on his day off over the weekend. He then prescribed me the antibiotics during my exam that was needed for my infection. A week later he and the team squished me in for the scary root cannel procedure - and crown! So, here is my experience. I have anxiety, I have a big fear of the dentist. Reading about how people say do not get a root cannel as its extremely painful, the smell is awful from the teeth drillings, the procedure is going to be invasive and so on and so forth, pull the tooth its cheaper and it is done with Well, it was the total opposite. The atmosphere is calming, the staff are welcoming, and his personal dental assistant is wonderful, very experienced, and intelligent. Do not get me wrong I was still a bit nervous, expecting pain and discomfort from many people’s experience. Wrong! It was painless, in fact the needle poke to freeze my mouth was the most invasive thing that I felt! Dr. Chapnick spoke clearly during every step of the way making sure I was clam and comfortable letting me know what he was doing, when he was drilling or poking his tools and measuring and I was so calm. The time went by so fast, and it was completely PAIN FREE. In fact, I was little tired and could have fell asleep as the rubber was holding my mouth open. Do I ever wish dentistry were this easy, well it is! I recommend any one with any teeth sensitivity, cavities, root canals, cleaning anything teeth related to visit Dr. Chapnick and team at Barrie Molson Dental! Oh, one last thing, Cleanings I have had from different dental offices hurt 100 times more then then root canal I just had. This is the only way I could show the difference in feeling is if you have had a cleaning before! (Again, the procedure was a rear molar 3 root infected 100 percent pain free procedure with crown) yes I am excited that I feel like a normal person again LOL So with my long story I am so grateful to have had this PAIN FREE procedure and i feel amazing again. Our daughter was born with an upper lip tie and lower tongue tie which was making it difficult for her to properly latch and feed. It caused her to be unable to take full sips and consequently she would choke and cough leading to a frustrated and hungry baby. After consulting with our doctor and local Health Unit, we were recommended to see Dr. Chapnick. He promptly answered all our questions and really put us at ease. The procedure (at 1 month old) was very fast and he and his nurse were so gentle with our daughter. The entire staff was very nice to deal with and the office is bright, clean and comfortable. It took about two weeks to fully heal during which she showed no signs of discomfort. The use of a laser made for a very clean and fully closed incision. The results were immediate and a big improvement. Her tongue was much more mobile and could now fully extend. Feeding has greatly improved and she has gained lots of weight. I tried to take a picture of the healed tissue but its too hard to get a clear shot. If you are experiencing problems related to lip or tongue tie don't hesitate to reach out to Dr. Chapnick he provides excellent care.

Staff are awesome, make you feel like family. Very profession and respectful of you and the anxiety you may suffer. Explain everything they will do, always ask if you have any questions or concerns. Allow you to make the decision after you get all the facts. Hygienists are so so gentle. Dr. Chapnik and Dr Turner are wonderful. They make you feel at ease. I highly highly recommend Molson Park Dental office and I laugh at myself because I would never have done that until I started going here! Keep doing what you are doing guys!!!????????????????????????????

From start to end, dealings with this office were nothing less than excellent. We were dealing with a lot of stress with our infant son’s inability to eat properly. We were referred to this office in Barrie and travelled from Sudbury. We were welcomed like family into their beautiful office and immediately introduced and put at ease by Dr. Chapnick. It is frightening to have any sort of surgery/procedure done on a young baby and the office staff and Dr. Chapnick helped put our minds and nerves at ease as much as was possible. The procedure was quick and my son fed without any pain/difficulty immediately afterwards in a private room. He had a tongue tie and lip tie release done and both healed without an issue. The office also did their part to ensure our benefit plan would cover this procedure. Thank you Molson Park Dental for helping is through this ordeal.

I am actually very surprised to see so many good reviews. Dr. Chapnick rushed through my assessment, didn't even talk to me; only his assistants the entire time. Went in regarding my TMJ and left with no solution as he did not go over other options with me (his assistant tried describing one option to me but was very horrible at describing things and did not seem like she knew what she was talking about). Extremely disappointed and will for sure be looking elsewhere to have my oral health taken care of.

I brought my daughter to Molson Park Dental for a laser frenectomy (lip and tongue tie correction) at 6 weeks old after it was recommended to me by a lactation consultant. She was not latching properly when nursing, therefore wasn't feeding well and I was experiencing a great deal of discomfort. After calling the office, the administrative assistant booked us in the very next day...what a relief to not have to wait any longer! Dr. Chapnick and his staff did the procedure (literally) within 5 minutes and my baby barely cried! Afterwards she healed quickly and we saw amazing results with her feeding. She is still nursing now at over 10 months old! Thank you Dr. Chapnick and Molson Park staff!

The gentle and patient manner of the entire staff made her so comfortable that on her first visit she lasted through a full cleaning!!!
