I love this office. The staff is very friendly. I don’t have insurance, so my cleaning, exam and two X-rays cost me $120. I never had a better cleaning. The hygienist is amazing! She said I have nice teeth and made me feel good, relaxed. I was happy that the doctor speaks my language. She also gave me good price. Very honest, professional and friendly. Good office in Barrie for people who speak Russian and no benefits

I had to go in to repair a chipped tooth. Right from receptionist and the dentist and dental assistant, they were all so friendly. I told dr. Back of my nervousness to the freezing and she kept me at ease. She let me know if there might be some discomfort while she was repairing my tooth. She made me feel very comfortable, and was very easy to talk to. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me!

I have been a patent for about 7 or 8 years now. Dr Bahl is a wonderful dentist who has impressed me with her skills and abilities. I highly recommend this office if your in need of quality work. The reception is always easy work with and friendly.

The ladies there, both at the desk and hygenists, are very friendly and kind. For example, my jaw gets tired staying open for too long and they let me know when I can close it at all possible for a rest, are accommodating. I would recommend the narrow window of Raskin (he's not there that often) or Bashaar (he's hoping to start being there more often), they are both very friendly and kind! I find the new lady not good "bedside manner" but that's just me personally or it was just the day. Someone else might like her.

I've been a patient with them for at least 8 years now - and have never had a bad experience with them. They're a great group of people, and very good with your oral hygiene! They will even help with payment plans and such. Great dental office - I don't think I'll ever switch ????

They have very good hygiene and there office looks very nice and clean. They work well with my mother who has extreme anxiety about the dentist. They gave her a front tooth where her previous dentist was gonna just pull it and leave a gap . And are gonna be saving all her teeth the last dentist was gonna just pull. They are extremely helpful and patient with my mother . I suggest this dentist to everyone! And there seceretary is amazing and very knowledgeable :)

Worst dentist ever went in with a full tooth that was rotted on the I side but no damage to the outside I told her it was thin and ready to break when I got there then realized I needed a root canal, once started she kept trying to make me leave and come back to finish knowing the tooth would break of I leave I stayed and she rushed through the rest and broke the tooth In the end I went I with a full tooth walked out with bloody gums and a stump of filling in a front tooth

I told her my fears of the dentist and she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable! She gave me so many options. The dental hygienist was also equally amazing and nice e ! I was suffering from extreme dental pain from Wisdom teeth and was able to get right in to be examined quickly between clients and was given a solution right away. They were quick, considerate and caring and made me feel at ease.

15 august 2018 I came for teeth cleaning . The hygienist worked for 45 minutes and she told me she did not finish her work becouse the time has finished and I need to come to her for teeth cleaning two or more times. I was extremely surprised that cleaning my teeth can take 2-4 visits. I asked her it all the visits are included in the price $120 dollars as you said me before? She said NO,you have to pay for each visit additionally.On my question how much I have to pay,she answered me that no one knows how many minutes she will spent on teeth cleaning. It means I have to pay for each visit ,for 3-4 visits, I will pay about 300-400 dollars. TEETH CLEANING! I paid $120 dollars for my visit and refused the next visits. The work is not finished.Nobody told me in advance about additional visits and additional payments.Nobody also said that at 120 dollars includes only 45 minutes of work of hygienist,x-ray but I will pay for time of hygienist, but not for result.The doctor supported the hygienist.I send this message so that the other patients are more attentive.

The first time I called Maplewood Dental was when I had an extreme aching tooth that had to be extracted. After calling three other Dental Offices about my problem, all three of them could not accommodate me. I am no one special, but when I called Maplewood Dental, They accommodated me immediately, with no questions asked. I was absolutely impressed on how they took care of me and my dental problems that instant. Their professionalism and customer service is with out a doubt a 5 star’s experience and meeting Dr Melissa Bahl today was a great pleasure. She was absolutely correct on every point she made regarding why my teeth are the way they are with great detail. I was totally impressed. This dental practice is the best my husband and I have ever been to. The staff is extremely courteous and welcoming while being very professional which is a great balance to have, especially in this industry. One thing that was a 'must' for our family was that they do direct billing to our insurance company which is something many dentist's aren't willing to do. Colleen, the dental hygienist who is OCD about cleaning teeth has got to be the BEST hygienist in Barrie. Not only does she do an incredible job cleaning teeth but she has the ability to actually make the experience 'fun.' In my books the term fun and dentistry just don't belong together but she works her magic on you to make it so. My dentist is not only excellent but he's 'cool' . I barely if ever feel any needles going in. Even the office is clean and bright with many beautiful floral paintings which definitely adds to its comfort and appeal. Of course I mustn't forget the receptionist; if not for the informative welcome , neither one of us would be there to begin with so if you are fearful of dentists or just want one who works with your own personal dental plan, this is the place to be. Best dentist ever! Dr. Oxana is not only an amazing dentist but also super nice. I find most dentists very intimidating but she’s so friendly and down to earth it feels like you’re talking to a friend. Everyone else at this office is also really nice and friendly. Dr. Oxana does an amazing job, she’s very thorough and detailed and I trust her completely. She was also able to notice some things that my other dentists missed. She gives great advice and the best part about her is that she doesn’t try to make $ off of you like other dentists do. If she can save the tooth with a regular filling she will do that instead of telling you to do a crown, she actually tries to save you money. I highly recommend her to everyone I know!

Great office. Dentist knows Polish and I also saw polish hygienist. She cleaned my teeth with a machine, then by hand and then with baking soda spray. I used to get spray in Poland and never in Canada. I surprised they had it and my teeth are so white and smooth. The dentist closed gap between my teeth. Good job fixing gap that I got when another dentist fixed my tooth. My kids also love the ladies at Maplewood!

I have been a patient at Maplewood Dental office for almost 2 years. And during those two years I have needed their services for a variety of dental needs. I have always found the staff so friendly and helpful everytime I have had an appointment. They always take the time to answer any questions or concerns I have, whether it was just for a regular cleaning or if it was for the root canal I needed. The office is child friendly and I will be bringing my son here when he is older. I definately recommend this office to anyone looking for a dentist.
