We’ve been visiting Dr Parastou and Dr Mehdi for 15 years now and I often drive hours for our regular appointments because no one else compares to them. The office is so inviting, even for my kids. They explain everything so well and it truly makes me feel comfortable. My kids have never been afraid to visit for routine cleanings or fillings, and that’s all thanks to the wonderful staff and Dentists

I came to this office because of a pain I was having in my molar. They did a full set of x-rays, and said I needed a root canal. They booked it for 3 weeks from the date I came in. I later decided to extract the tooth due to the Pain being so bad. Not being able to see me any sooner I asked for my x-rays to be email to a different dentist. Within seconds of looking at them the new dentist said I had an abscess tooth and need antibiotics to heal it. WHY DID ANOTHET DENTIST CATCH THAT USING THE X-RAYS THIS DENTIST TOOK. Total charge from new dentist $200 after exam, medication, and extraction. This office wanted to charge me for exam, x-rays root canal and crown. Total charge just over $2300.00.... THIS IS CLEARLY MISDIAGNOSED AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SOMEONE WHO IS IN PAIN AND WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO FEEL BETTER. want a review for this place.... GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Had a tooth pulled a few days ago and it went very smooth. I don't recall the dentists name but he is very patient unlike some dentists who are in such a rush to move onto the next room. The hygienist who assisted him was also great! I'm so glad to have the constant pain finally gone.

Upon entering the office I found the front desk staff to be very friendly. Dr Mehdi made me feel very comfortable and did a great job. I see Adrienne as my hygienist and she is fantastic. The office is kept very clean and sanitized.

Last year i remember getting asked for an x ray 100 time. I said i don't want any because they charge in the end and they kept on saying they need to do it. NO THEY DON'T! THEY DO WHAT I WANT DONE! Just the little cavity i wanted done, not all these x rays.

My children are faithful patients of Dr Parastou. Even when my oldest needed some teeth pulled, she was firm but caring with him. No meltdowns makes a happy momma!

Great customer care. I was having an issue with my tooth and they got me in right away on Saturday to take a look. I found out I needed to get a root canel. Issue is I was leaving for cost a Rica is three days. They got me in a few days after to help me get this fixed. Unfortunately, I fainted do to stressing out. They did a excellent job making sure I was okay and they even called me that night to see how everything was Going! I truly appreciate it. Great service.

My permanent retainer came debonded from my left tooth, still bonded on my right tooth the wire was sticking up and poking me. I needed help, however it was 1pm on a Friday most dental offices and orthodontists are closed. Naturally I called all around barrie and innisfil looking for someone to help me. Mapleview family dentistry asked one of their dentists to help me out and she agreed! Awesome I was there within 20 minutes. They brought me back and she had me fixed within 10-15 minutes. The job wasn't perfect but i was happy that it was fixed for now. I went to pay, they charged me $234 for 10-15 minutes of work, and like i mentioned it wasn't perfect. The old bond was left on my tooth, not cleaned off before rebonding the bar back to my tooth. The bar is crooked because she bonded it too high on my tooth and now theres alot of pressure happening, not to mention they quoted me around $100 over the phone. Ill have to have go get it fixed by my orthodontists. However if you ever have a dental emergency and have a lot of money to burn this is your place!

I've been a patient of Dr. Ali since 2008, having issues with massive fillings, bad gum etc. etc. Since the first visit after massive pain I experienced for 2 days, he comforted me right after his first check-up and starting to explain all the pros and cons of the treatment required to be done. After the first treatment, the pain was gone instantly. He is truly skilled in his craft. I truly recommend Dr. Ali to anyone in need of highly skilled dental services. He’s kind, a true gentleman and exceptional dentist anyone could ask for.

My husbad and I have seen Dr. Mehdi from the time he started and my children Dr. Parastou when they were younger. Both dentists very friendly. They took the time to explain everything. They deal.with most insurance companies. They are clean and couteius. Overall great. Thank you for your years of service.

I definitely recommend to go see doctor mahadi. Weeks ago I visited the clinic for a root canel which was not easy but when I see doctor mahadi did an excellent job with whole process which I was not in pain afterward. I absolutely loved the atmosphere of the whole office as I felt very comfortable with it. I very happy that I found this clinic.

The receptionist and the lady's that do the cleaning are amazing. But the dentist are the worst! Been going here for 3 years and get my regular cleaning and x-ray done. After going for clean the female dentist looked at my x-ray and said it was all good no cavities. 6 months later I go back and had different dentist and he said I had 2 bad cavities and had to get them filled. Next day one of my teeth broke and greated a hole. After fixing both my cavities he said noticed I had pin hole cavitie. But I said I had no pain there I feel fine but okay. Been two months and it hurting n getting worst. My younger brother also went there to get wisdom teeth out. The guy who did it was awesome but the nurse who gave him the needle was very rude. He sat down in the chair and very scared and asked can he have gas or something because he very scared of i.V. So he nurse just said baby's take this needle and forced it into his hand. Like I said the hygienist and front desk lady's are good but the dentist are terrible

I attended the office in April of this year, I had originally called to make an appointment due to acute tooth pain. Upon calling I found the lady on the phone to be somewhat short and unprofessional. Upon attending the office I was made to feel as if I was burden to the front desk staff. Once called I was escorted to an exam room by a lady who examined me, at no point or time did she disclose her name or what her professional designation was. The actions of and interaction with Dr. Ali Shian were quite professional and what would be expected from a dental professional. After my appointment I attended the front counter to pay my bill and was provided bill of 200.00 ($140.00 for an emergency exam, and $60.00 for 2 x-rays). When I voiced my concern about being charged an “emergency” exam fee even though I waited over 24 hours for the appointment, I was told I no choice and every other clinic charges the same exam fee with/ without the emergency aspect. I understand the value of a dollar and hard work, and the cost of $140.00 for 2 minutes of someones time is quite unprofessional. I returned a week later to have the tooth extracted. Again I was escorted by the same female who this time I question to get her name and professional designation. Upon entering the room Dr Shain voiced his concern over the possible complication with the extraction, but was able to get the tooth out without issue. When I left I was charged $260.00 for “Removal Complicated”. The tooth came out in a single piece in less then 10 minutes, which is the opposite of how Dr. Shian explained a complicated extraction to me. I feel as if this clinic may take financial advantage of persons if and when they’re vulnerable. As well the room I was in both times was not sanitary.

On Saturday, August 3, 2019, We booked for the first time, to Dentistry on Mapleview. Dr. Mandana Tehrani was the Dentist appointed to see us. My husband and I we're very happy with her. She was the best dentist we ever had. She is very kind, caring and explained very well all our options respectfully without pressure. With that, I was able to make decisions and prioritize what's need to be done first. She made sure, I understood clearly and explained clearly the dental treatment for that day. I feel very comfortable with her and relaxed throughout the treatment even though my situation was a bit more complicated as I always needed to take antibiotics before and after treatment. Even my husband, who didn't go to the dentist for many years because of bad experience in the past, He is very happy with Dr Mandana Tehrani and the cleaning done on his teeth was excellent. I highly recommend Dr. Mandana Tehrani to anyone, if you want a good, kind, respectful, friendly and caring Dentist. The front desk reception is very friendly and nice.
