Very thorough in the hygienists explaining to you what they are doing, how they are doing it, and what they are seeing. Makes you feel comfortable and that they are competent in what they are doing. A great experience and a well done job. I would just make sure you state exactly what you want to have done, as they may do more than you are wanting done and you will have to pay for the difference. They tell you before they do it, so that would be the time to confirm if your benefits cover it or if you want to pay to get that done.

I am a repeat patient from 2008. When I was in University I really was impressed with the work Dr. Brian Fedoretz did. I still remember how friendly he was. So when I moved back to the city this year in 2021, I paid a visit and I got the same teeth restored after 13 years! He is still as sharp as back in 2008. UDC crew makes smoking and eating sweets that much more fulfilling, knowing i get to see them more often. It doesn’t feel like a clinic, more like an organic store where you’re helped by people who really enjoy their profession. Like a flower shop. If i was really forced to think of an improvement i’d say a model electric train riding on the ceiling upside down on a track travelling through every partition (or model roller coaster) but they’re awesome without it.

I was going to go to this dentist but I look at the reviews and I think about 60 of them are fake and I think it's thanks to the one dentist everyone says is incompetent all the others seem great.so I'll make the call and see if I could get one of the good ones and not the doctor who apparently isn't up to par. They quickly feel like friends, and care deeply about the physical, financial, and psychological wellbeing of their patients. They make dental work... pleasant? Did I just say that? From start to finish a GREAT experience. Administrative staff and dental techs: all super pleasant and efficient. Dr Fedoretz has a lovely chair-side manner and I felt quite safe in this office as physical distancing in the wait room was advised, hand hygiene was encouraged and all staff wore masks in my presence.

Best dentist ever. I have never enjoyed going to the dentist, but with University Dental I don't mind and even look forward to it. The male dentist (I don't remember his name) is very kind and helpful. Laurie, my hygienist, is just excellent at what she does. She always takes the time to explain the reasons she is doing things, answer questions, and ensure that I'm comfortable. With Laurie cleaning my teeth, the experience goes by so quickly without the usual pain and discomfort. I highly recommend Laurie. The lady behind the desk is also very helpful. If you need a dental device ordered or you need to ask your insurance about a certain procedure coverage, she is happy to oblige. Overall, I am very pleased with University Dental!! 5 stars!!

I have been going here since early 2000s (seriously, it's been 11-12 years now), and have had an amazing hygienist in Shweta, an amazing dentist in Dr. Fedoretz, and the rest of the colleagues of this office have helped me and my husband with my oral health, providing up-to-date information and advising me on better hygiene and habits (without shaming me, ever, for being less-than-perfect). They are the only medical/health clinic I've ever eagerly recommended to friends and acquaintances alike whenever they mention tooth issues- definitely make it a point to go here if you are worried about dentists, tooth pain, et cetera. They are the kindest, warmest, and most exceptional group I've EVER been to. I go at least twice a year and I have never, in over a decade, had a negative interaction with any of them- and in fact, usually leave their office feeling energized and positive because of how much fun they all seem to have at their jobs. That's extra amazing to me considering that I have agoraphobia and social anxiety issues, but I find myself eager to come in and catch up. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

My first visit with the new hygienist Arianna was great. Pleasant, professional and above all painless! Her technique providing adequate suction/drainage thereby not making me feel like I am choking was a first. I normally have to stop the cleaning process several times to cough but not with her. She also took the step of applying a topical anesthetic to a known sore spot before the process. No other hygienist has offered this step. I look forward to seeing her in 6 months time! This is the best dental office in the YEG. The staff are so welcoming and kind. From the second you walk in the front desk makes sure you start your experience the right way with their big smiles and professionalism they treat you with utmost respect. My family and I have been coming here for years. Dr. Fedoretz is a master of his trade, he knows exactly what he’s doing and walks you through every step. Whether your a first timer or someone whose had dental work done the staff here makes you feel appreciated and really take care of their clients. The dental hygienists are the top of the line and have so much knowledge. When you get out of the chair you feel like your at home it’s such a relaxing atmosphere The reminders prior to the appointments are concise and clear. I wouldn’t trust my dental choices with any other place. Located mins away from University hospital you won’t miss it. I guarantee it, you will not be disappointed.

I'm surprised to see how well this clinic is reviewed. I had a terrible experience there. In early April, I went in because of some pain in one of my back tooth. It wasn't clear from my initial consultation (which happened a few weeks earlier) whether or not I needed a filling. The x-ray they took didn't convince the dentist of the exact issue. Despite this, when I arrived for my follow-up appointment, the dentist proceeded to put in a filling as soon as I got there. The working relationship between Dr. Fedoretz and his assistant was very upsetting to witness. It was obvious that the dentist was getting very impatient with the young guy. Yes, it's true that the assistant was not a good one -- totally scared, didn't know what he was being asked of, just seemed incompetent. The dentist was taking some of his frustration out on me, which was NOT COOL. I noticed that as the operation went on, more and more force was being applied on my mouth. I really, REALLY didn't appreciate this. I had no idea what he was doing, but I could tell that it was getting sloppy. I walked out of the appointment feeling physically unwell. Not only was I in a lot of pain, but the passive-aggressive exchanges I had to listen to between the dentist and the assistant really made me feel gross. Ok but here's the worst part... Since having this filling put in, I can no longer freely chew on that side of the mouth. I called their office 2 weeks after the appointment to tell them that I was in experiencing discomfort and severe sensitivity and the secretary proceeded to tell me that everyone's healing process is different and that some people can feel pain for up to 9 month. 9 MONTHS??? I was absolutely appalled at this response. She had no interest in helping me sort this out. She just wanted to take the next call. The reason I'm even writing a review is because I still have pain from the operation and it makes me really mad to think that this business can get away with shitty customer service, but more importantly, sub-par dental work. I live in Los Angeles now, so I don't have a chance to pursue this further with them. At this point, I'll need to ask my new dentist to fix whatever the hell they screwed up. So I'll end with...DO NOT GO THERE.

Ok, this is my second visit to this dentist, I'll try to explain as much as I can: I've had many procedures in my life as I have very bad teeth, I'm not Canadian so I've had few experiences here in Canada and this is the second office that I've visited, by Christmas I broke a tooth and went to this place, on my first visit they checked my tooth very fast and gave me a diagnostic almost immediately, the receptionist (Janelle) was very kind and helpful with my insurance information. they gave me an approximate cost to be sure there are no hidden costs, after that I went to my second visit, same doctor (Kershaw), I was amazed by the professionalism of the staff, I didn't had to wait for even one minute (I hate waiting times in doctor's offices), the doctor was always sure of what he was doing which gives you a great sense of confidence, the whole thing was almost painless, the doctor has a great hand with the syringe. all the equipment is new and updated. the whole thing took a little less time than planned which was surprising for this kind of procedures. honestly I don't know how could they improve their service. this is the best experience I've had in a doctor's office. keep up the good work. recommended 110%

Dr. Kershaw is amazing! I have bad anxiety and usually a reck when it comes to the dentist, but Dr. Kershaw explains everything going on and when i panicked about a root canal i had recently done he had me come in right away and eased my nerves by checking it out to make sure it was healing well. I have always hated the dentist but The staff at dental choice are truly amazing. Everyone is kind and caring and makes sure you are receiving the best care possible. This place is a blessing! I couldn't be happier and can't imagine going anywhere else.

Loved them during the first appointment. But then was told I had to get my cleaning done in two separate appointments. I had to pay more for cleaning because of this plus it was time consuming. I had to get local anesthetic for the cleaning because I have very sensitive teeth, could barely open my jaw for the next week and had jaw pain for over two months. They charged me for a consult appointment to tell me that it was just the fact my mouth was open for an extended amount of time. Prescribed me pain killers and sent me out the door. Phoned multiple times and they said it was just the fact my mouth was open for so long. They said I could come in again to get it checked but I refuse to pay when they screwed up my jaw to begin with. A month ago I was supposed to have another cleaning when 3 hours before the appointment I get a phone call saying they were supposed to refer me to a periodontist (wasn't told anything about this at any of my appointments) and they cancelled my cleaning. It's been a month and I haven't heard anything back from them. I am low income and I can't afford to be ran around to specialists for dental. My doctor has diagnosed me with TMJ which I didn't have before this occurrence happened. Frequent ear pain and jaw pain is not a fun thing to deal with and I've honestly had enough excuses from this dental practice. Would not recommend.

I've been seeing my dental hygienist, Schweta, for about 10 years and can't recommend her enough! She is able to reach into areas where most hygienists can't or are too afraid to venture (I don't blame them!). She is also such a wealth of information when it comes to the mouth. I've learned so much and my oral health has led to great check-ups and virtually no more cavities or crowns!! Her bubbly nature and kind spirit makes her to hoot to be with when I get my teeth cleaned! Dr. Fedoritz is also a wonderful dentist who has done some major work to my mouth, including many fillings and crowns. I've been going to this clinic for years! They have such amazing staff, everyone is so nice here. I was just in Edmonton for the holidays and needed a filling. I really appreciated how quick Dr. Ryan Eom saw me and ensured I was taken care of while I was still in town. Went in for a tooth ache. Went in telling Dr. Eom to pull my tooth. He said there are other options instead of pulling the tooth. A root canal and then a Crown. I told him thatI would only get that done if both procedures are covered by my insurance plan. His assistant offered to call my insurance plan and find out for me if they are in fact both covered. She came back and told me yes both are covered I said ok lets do that then if both are covered. Later after I got the prep work and crown put on I have come to find out that they have lied to me and that the crown is NOT covered at all. The dentist office is now blaming me and saying it is all my fault and that I should have phoned myself and not taking there word for it. If I would have been told to phone myself to find out I would have just got the tooth pulled to get out of the pain I was in with my tooth. I was abundantly clear with them that I would not be able to pay either procedures if one of them was not covered and also told them I would not get one and not the other. I should have listened to may gut and just get the tooth pulled because now they are trying to charge me for something I told them I would not get unless is was covered by my insurance plan. A $1200 dollar bill that I told them I could not afford. Very disappointment with how I am being blamed for something they told me was covered. And them not willing to take any of the blame and telling me that they are not willing to do anything to make this right other than telling me I have to pay. Beware they like to lie to patients, and then blame you for the mistake

I never ever write reviews, however my experiences at University Edmonton Dental Choice with Dr. Delhon, Tracy, and Julia were too wonderful to not say anything about it! I have a fear of going to the dentist, much like many others, but the moment I called the clinic, Tracy made sure I was comfortable, and taken care of at all times! During their screening questions, they have something about anxiety/nervousness, which I thought was awesome! I had to get a temporary crown placed in... as well as a permanent crown! All 3 trips to see Dr. Delhon, Tracy, and Julia were genuinely fun. Tracy & Julia took the time to talk to me, and just ask me how I was doing! Every single person in there was kind & friendly! On top of that, the clinic is clean, beautiful, and Dr. Delhon was very knowledgeable! He informs you of your situation, and lays out options for you! Needless to say, after 5-6 years, I have finally found a clinic, and dentist that I can trust, and am comfortable with!

Great experience. Professional, pain free , pleasant . Feels like a boutique dental practice with all the positives this entail. Do not feel quantified. Procedure and options explained well above the standards of baseline dentistry. Given a early childhood phobia of needles , the anaesthetic given was not only pain free they could have billed me as a behaviour psychologist practice to get over this phobia. In essence I received both dental work and a closure on needle anxiety. A 2 for 1 so to speak Thanks Well done

My son had his wisdom teeth out in August with Dr.Kershaw at University Dental Choice. What was a rather big deal for us was made manageable and even enjoyable with the treatment we received from Dr.Kershaw and the staff there. Janelle, Kelly, and Kathy are a wonderful team and were a huge part of reassuring us and preparing us for this procedure. From introducing us to this new option of oral sedation, to obtaining my son's pan x-ray so we didn't have to pay for another, to following up with us by phone afterwards to make sure my son was doing well and see if we had any other questions. Dr.Kershaw treated us with respect and included my son in all the discussion which he greatly appreciated, and explained the procedure and what to expect very thoroughly. He also has a great sense of humor and was easy going, which also put us at ease. I felt my son was valued and I myself was honored as a parent. I have always been apprehensive about dentists but he always talks you through the procedure he is doing, and answers any questions i have, when i have them. I work out of town but i would deal with any kind of dental pain or discomfort just so i could wait to deal with Dr.Kershaw and those lovely ladies. I feel right at home when i am there, and i hope to never deal with another dentist again. The massage chair in the lobby is glorious too, by the way ???? I went to University Dental Choice after 6 years of no dentistry treatments. The dental assistants, dentists, and hygienists are kind, understanding, and practical. I'm a student and dental costs are a concern to me- The staff are very upfront about pricing and are caring of your concerns. The hygienists that helped me was absolutely amazing. Usually the cleaning process is the worst part- I have been belittled and made to feel really bad about my teeth in the past. It was nothing like that here. She was down to earth, incredibly knowledgable, and very sweet. The dentist that worked on my teeth used the best practices that allowed for the most comfort I have ever had during a filling. My only complaint about this practice would be that there is very little privacy. There can be a lot of action going on in the small office at the same time, and there is a lot of movement while you are being worked on. However, they mentioned that there will be renovations in the Summer that will help with that issue. Even with that in mind, I highly recommend this location for any kind of dental work that you may need.

I am really disappointed with my wisdom tooth extraction (surgery). The doctor (Mr. Smith) was suppose to sedate me for an hour and then start the surgery but god knows why they had to rush it and started the surgery within 30 mins or so. While the extraction I could feel every single thing, the tooth being pulled out and I was crying but the doctor (Mr. Smith) continued the surgery and kept injecting me anesthesia multiple times. And I was given no such directions how to take care of the stitches and mouth, they just did the surgery, prescribed Tylenol 3 and let me go. One of the stitch came out very next day and I have blisters on my tongue and gums. I am unsure what to do, and so terrified to go to any dentist now. I live in Edmonton by myself, and have no clue what to do and how to take care of myself anymore, sure I can goggle how to take care after surgery, but is that right? I feel like I was just a money making machine for them, rather than a patient they should take care of. No one did a follow up call to make sure if I was doing okay. I wish I could take any legal actions against them.

I visited this clinic recently for my dental cleaning. I was initially told that full cleaning which is 4 units on average costs around 330$- 340$. The office billed my insurance company 438.56(that included my copayments of 26.44 and 20.25$). So it cost over 100$ more than full 4 units cleaning would have been. Besides my cleaning was divided by 2 seaprate sessions and consisted of 5.5 units altogether??! I have never required cleaning of 5.5 units. I usually take care of my teeth. I do regular floss and brushing. On my previous visits in other dental offices my cleaning required 3 to 4 units maximum. Another issue I had was being charged for Fluoride treatment. Upon first visit at this office I indicated clearly that I do not want fluoride treatment. I discovered it on the bill that they billed me for it!! Hygienist did not even mention it that she is doing to fluoride my teeth. I do not think it was done because my fluorization 2 years ago had different procedure. The fee for fluorization was removed upon my request. I was given 4 $ credit. I accepted mouth rinse. There were other people sitting in the lobby so I was embarrassed to discuss it over entire lobby that your office overbilled me. I am going to search for other dental clinics in the future.

Great High Tech Clinician! I am a dentist and I had an abscess - how embarrasing. Now who do I go to? I heard of a Dental Choice dentist with an surgical microscope so I thought here is a serious perfectionist. I had a great experience! Really great work and customer service! I had taken quite a long hiatus from getting my dental work done, and decided to go with University Dental Choice to get everything back up to speed. I've been a customer at University Dental Choice for well over a decade. I get my regular cleanings with Shweta 3-4 times/year. Keeping up with my dental health on this regular schedule means that I only have to see Dr. Fedoretz once a year for an annual check-up and x-rays as I don't have any major dental issues. I know this might seem like a lot of cleanings but shifting from 1-2 visits to 3-4 visits per year has really helped to maintain the health of my teeth. I know that people normally don't enjoy cleanings but Shweta makes the whole experience painless and enjoyable. I'm a stay at home mom and currently pregnant. I've had terrible dentist experiences , however upon booking and consultation I had a good feeling. I had my tooth fiixed and was made to feel welcome and Dr.Fedoretz explained the whole procedure to me and his assistant Jenny was a added bonus who made me feel at ease. My second apt I thaught I would have to cancel cause I didn't have a babysitter for my 2 year old , but they were so nice they helped me to accommodate her while they fixed my tooth, The BEST dental experience ever!!!!! I should also mention I was at the dentist prior to being pregnant and the previous dentist didn't listen to any of my complaints and just did a cleaning , Dr.fedoritz was able to asses and listened to me and he fixed the problem the next day a cracked filling causing some discomfort and pain.

HUGE thanks to Leanne! I was moving to a different country and I needed a new set of night time retainers asap. I was leaving in about 10 days. Leanne told me that it normally takes 12 days for the lab to make the retainers alone - it would then take additional time for the lab to send them to the dental office. However, this process was NO MATCH for Leanne!!! Leanne was not only able to get my retainers made quickly but she had them delivered and ready for me to collect in just a matter of days!!! Oh man! True story, I had a chipped tooth for years that I really didnt like. It got obliterated in hockey and it ruined all my pictures and it began to alter my natural smile. Then! This review has been edited to reflect events since the initial review about 2012. In 2012, a dentist at this location (not Dr. Stankiewicz) botched a simple filling, and it didn't feel right afterwards. In the couple of months that followed, the tooth felt worse than when I had come in. My suspicions that something was done wrong were confirmed when I went to another dentist at another location, and he found that decay had been left inside the tooth and that since it was not properly cleaned out, the "fixer" filling would need to be deeper, which was causing problems for my tooth nerve. This other dentist confirmed that the nature of the decay inside the tooth connected to the filling recently done was due to it not being properly cleaned out at the time of the filling, and not because I had not brushed properly (that would start on the outside). His mistake has caused me significant pain and three other procedures due to his carelessness and lack of attention to detail. Since then, I have had to get a root canal because of the nerve pain from how close the fixer-filling had to be to my nerve in order to fix the mistake of leaving decay in his initial filling. His medical negligence has cost me much, much time, money, and pain. I felt I could no longer trust this office with my care, health, or to ethically charge me for their services, and I have since left this office.Do not let their multiple ghost 5-star reviews fool you. I'm glad a few real reviews show satisfaction, but I would not trust anyone I know or care about to be exposed to the incompetence at this office that is not properly addressed. When I called after the botched filling to inform them of the discomfort , I was not given, or even offered, a free exam to make sure it was okay, but brushed off and told to wait x number of months before calling again. In addition, when I had personally gone in to discuss things with them, I was disappointed to be surprised with "Hygenic Consultation Fees" about which I was not informed until Insurance did not cover it (sent a letter afterwards). Apparently I asked a couple questions, and this resulted in $65 fee each. I politely asked for an explanation of why I got charged for asking a simple question to my dentist. I pointed out that I wish they would have informed me that a question resulted in such fees, as I surely would have refrained from asking if I had been informed of this. After an explanation of why a couple questions merited $130.00 fee could NOT be provided by the receptionist or the dentist, and after I politely argued that I should not have to pay this extra surprise fee, they eventually took these fees off. I asked three other dentists at three other practices if they had ever heard of anything such as "Hygenic Consultation Fees", and they had not. They also did not know why I was charged initially for asking a couple of questions, especially without being told that this would cost extra. In recently speaking with the Office Manager, I have been informed these fees are no longer there (2017). It is disappointing and disturbing to me that some of those in the medical field have less accountability to the patient or client than those who interact with us in everyday positions such as the post office or coffee shop. I am glad that the botched tooth did not result in a serious infection or worse, but I am still left with the negative after-effects of the medical carelessness to this day without a real apology from the dentist because they don't know where he is anymore.

I can’t say enough great things about this dental office. Before I even went there, the receptionist over the phone was incredibly helpful and informative. She organized all of my insurance coverage, even calling them to get more information. I thought I had just got her on a good day. Nope! When I went in for my appt she was there and was just as awesome as well as all the wonderful ladies behind the desk. Not to mention they have the newest and coolest massage chair I’ve ever been in! So that gives them a 5 start just for that! Once all the insurance was cleared up and I went in for my appt it continued to be extremely enjoyable and fun. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He makes sure you understands everything. Not only is the doctor so smart and great but Lori my hygenist was equally as amazing. I have bad anxiety about pain and they did absolutely everything I could have asked for to keep the experience as enjoyable as possible. After I chipped my front tooth I left with a yellow one! Probably had to drive in on 4 different occasions to try and have it fixed. When he couldn’t, he made both front teeth yellow to match!! I’ve had to pay lot of money to have another dentist (closer to my home) fix it. I drove 3 hours EACH time.

I have been going to this dental office for more than 10 years now. Very thorough and professional staff.They truly strive for their patients to have the perfect smile. :) Shweta is amazing at cleaning my teeth and Dr. Fedoretz has been great with my Invisalign treatment. Even if I already live in Sherwood Park I still go to them. Direct billing has been smooth and I am pleased with the service provided by the clinic. Keep it up!

I've always had really bad anxiety when it came to the dentist which unfortunately resulted in years of not going for cleanings or any work but having TMJ as well didn't help. I had to get booked for quite a lot of fillings, two root canals and an extraction (don't make my mistake even if you have severe anxiety it's better to deal with that fear then wait and end up needing a ton of work). The first few appointments where fine with Dr Fedoretz though a bit uncomfortable when he seemed to get upset at his assistant which my opinion wasn't professional. But my second root canal was a very horrible experience, he seemed to rush, dropped a needle on my gums, a piece of one of his tools wasn't adjusted properly so it ended up falling off and hitting my gums. It was around 3 and half hours for a root canal which was a struggle due to my TMJ. I was in pretty severe pain for days after it. To top it all off a few of my cavities that were done have come back in the exact same spot making me think that it wasn't fully done especially since it hasn't even been a year since I got it done. I haven't seen Dr. Kershaw yet but though Dr Fedoretz is very nice and tries to ensure i'm not in any pain I think he rushes too much which resulted in cavities coming back and messing up. And when your still anxious at going to the dentist and needing more work, to have to go back to get work done again (which by the way your insurance generally has issues paying for the same thing to be done twice) it's not worth it. Go to another dentist

I'm so happy that I've chosen UDC as my first dental experience. Friendly staff, great service, and very relaxing atmosphere. Laurie, one of dental hygienist over there, is amazing. She's very informative, willing to take couple minutes to go over the background and cleansing process with an illustrated book. Her service is good, efficient, and fast. Simply amazing! Strongly recommended!!

Quite honestly the best dentist office I have ever been to. I was recently in for an extraction of my wisdom teeth. Dr.Kershaw made sure I knew the procedure and made me super comfortable through it all. The hygienist's there take the extra time to get to know you while they work on your teeth and the reception team is always cheerful and informative. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new dentist!

Ive been coming here for a few years now and can honestly say this place is consistently the best dental care I’ve had- the staff are all amazing and really try their best to make you as comfortable as possible. I appreciated how Dr Fedoretz actually showed me my xrays during my exam, and pointed out the indicators for my higher risk areas for cavities etc. My hygienist (I think her name was Arianna? So sorry if I’m wrong!) was also wonderful- I’ve had my share of hygienists rush through and get too aggressive with the scraping and flossing so my mouth ends up a bloody sore mess, but that couldn’t be farther from the case here! I never felt like she was rushed, and she was gentle and efficient throughout. I greatly appreciate how literally painless they make the whole process.

Finally, in addition to providing great dental services, this particular location appears to also be a great and collegial place for their staff to work at.

Everytime I go here, whether that's for a cleaning, check-up, or Invisalign appointment, the service is beyond amazing! Every dentist and hygenist who have tended to me have gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. They were all so friendly, talkative, and kind! They answer any and all questions that I have and overall are just so nice. The front reception staff are also great and helpful! Speaking as someone who usually used to fear and dread seeing the dentist, their service makes the trip to the dentist a fun experience, truly. Great location, great staff, great service. The facility is beautiful. There's even a massage chair in the waiting area. My appointment was quick and efficient. I've been going to this dentist for years, I'm always well treated, all my questions and concerns are always answered or handled. They worry about what work needs to be done so I don't have to keep track of what work was done when, they track all of it. All I need to do is book my next appointment and show up. They worry about everything else and they send multiple appointment reminders so I never miss my appointment. Great team!

I was ready to switch to another clinic before last night because I was tired of having to come back for another session of cleaning since there wasn’t enough time last week. I was also a bit torn because my dental hygienist is so kind and is good at what she does. But then last night, without having brought my concerns up at all, my dental hygienist Ariana (I believe? I’m so bad at names but she is the sweetest!!) talked about how bad she felt about me having to come in for a second session and how she was grateful that I came in anyway. Furthermore, she made sure that for my future appointments, there would be more time allotted to avoid having to come back again (since this was the second time that it’s happened). Thank you so much for going above and beyond for me. I didn’t expect that at all, and I am so relieved that I’m staying with this clinic.

I had my cleaning yesterday done at this place by a lady named Arianna Marsden, and it was a very good cleaning. she made sure to be very careful around my gums so they wouldn't hurt the next day..but she made sure my teeth were done perfectly thou. and she was very nice and pleasant to talk too. I had been putting off going to the dentist for way too long (at least 7 years) but knew that I had to go as my habits weren't the greatest. Everything from booking the appointment until the end of the appointment was streamlined, painless, and extremely easy. Everyone was willing to offer help with every question I had and very informative! Whenever I have a dental problem or just need a check up I will never go anywhere else. I would like to publicly thank Dr. Eom and members of his staff at University Dental Choice Edmonton for all their support, professionalism, knowledge, patience, and kindness through my dental situation while RVing from BC into Edmonton. I greatly appreciated the confidence that Dr. Eom instilled in me from the moment I met him and his team. It did a lot to lesson my anxieties through the entire experience. I highly recommend to everyone this team of professionals for the care of their dental needs. My Story: While RV traveling from British Columbia in the Edmonton Area, I had a tooth that went abscess causing the entire side of my face to become inflamed. I spent a week on thrice daily IV treatments at the Devon hospital to get the infection under control. As the infection came under control, my daughter called University Dental Choice Edmonton, her dentist, to see if they could get me in. They not only "got me in" but arranged a consultation appointment immediately on our request, with Doctor Eom. An xray showed a tooth that had a curve in it for which a root canal by my home dentist had not completely removed the root. A CT scan was arranged to get a 3d image of the affected tooth and surrounding structure. Based on the CT scan Doctor Eom recommended dental surgery to remove the root of the offending tooth (root extraction). I suffer from panic attack at the dental office. A sedative was arranged, and the surgery successful concluded. Four days later I phoned and requested a follow up examination as we were scheduled to continue our RV journey. The follow up appointment was arranged for the day after I called. Things were beginning to heal well. A week after that appointment I received a follow up call from Dr. Eom's office inquiring how the healing was progressing. The incision is healing very nicely.
