They could not explain to me common sense. I asked why I have to wear a mask in the waiting room but not during the check up? Ask she said was it is policy. This has to be the smartest virus ever. It can only attack in the waiting room but not in the examination room. That's amazing!! So I missed my appointment because I couldn't wait in the waiting room for less than 2 minutes with out a mask because of this super smart virus that only attacks in the waiting room and not 20 feet away.

Be warned that this clinic states they are good with kids. Not true in our experience. The dentist we had is better off not dealing with kids at all. Won't recommend to anyone after brutal experience . I thought denstristy has gotten past the "strong hand" ideation and not working at scaring the hell out of children. Makes it hard for kids to trust adults when they act without care. There should be reprimand for bad dentists.

We had been here previously to get a checkup and cleaning for my son. He had a couple of cavities and we weren't able to get them fixed at this time. Unfortunately he got sick so we were not able to get him in right away. We got him to see a different dentist to get them fixed. They assured me that he was great with kids. We got there and the assistant was very nice. When the dentist came in he seemed almost annoyed. He checked the teeth and said that one had some infection so he had to pull that one. The started with the numbing gel on his gums but there was really no reassurance from the dentist even tho I had to told them that my son had had bad dental experiences in the past and was scared. He then started with the freezing. My son started crying because the needles were hurting so much. Dr Evanson didn't stop to offer more gel he just kept saying your fine. After the freezing my son was very upset. They started on the filling and my son kept raising his hand because he was scared and he said it was still hurting. Dr Evanson said that it wasn't hurting and that the teeth were asleep. He said this every time and once again didn't offer any other additional freezing. He also kept telling my son he needs to stay still because he was shaking with fear. I said that he was scared but the dentist didn't really listen. Dr Evanson got the filling done and then went straight to doing the extraction. He was very impatient by this point I think because of the amount of times by son raised his hand to have him stop. Dr Evanson tried to show my son what he was going to do for the extraction but my son at this point was to upset. The dentist kept trying to grab his hand an show him but my son didn't even want that at this point. Dr Evanson seemed very grumpy at this point. He pretty much grabbed his hand and did it anyway. He then tried to force his way to do the extraction. My son was crying and trying to block him but he was trying to push thru. I said to stop but he said no I got it. I said stop again and got the same response. Dr evanson at this point was trying to force his way in to pull the tooth. I yelled at him to stop. he finally stopped and I proceeded to tell him that stop means stop and that he shouldn't be continuing when bot he patient and his parent says stop. Dr Evnason then said you can leave now. I tried to calm down a bit but I was very upset and my son was laying there full out crying. I told him that this was what had happened at previous dentists and that this was not helping. All he would say was that we can leave now. We left and then got a phone call from him later not apologizing but saying that because of my reaction they will no longer treat my son at this office.

I went in to have all 4 wisdom teeth extracted. I have severe dental anxiety and I was going to Appleway dental until they rescheduled my apt 4 times without good reason. I started looking at my other options and found Image dental. During my consultation, Dr. Anthony made me feel very safe and comfortable, it also felt like he cared. Unfortunately there was an emergency and I was back to the game of rescheduling. I booked in for March. 29, they had an emergency and had to move me to April 7th. Then I got a call this morning at 8 am asking if I could come in today because they needed to block out Wednesday. I was a little frustrated again, but took it as this gave my anxiety no chance to overthink everything. I am So HAPPY I did that. Dr. Anthony and the staff who did the extractions did an amazing job. They were so understanding and kind. I was hit with nitro before being sedated which helped calm me down so much. Dr. Anthony administered the in needle so fast (another fear of mine) then the assistant put in the numbing gel....next thing I knew, I was in the truck with my spouse on my way home. I didn’t feel anything, I don’t remember anything, and after all was said and done, I was there for an hour. Image dental is where I will continue to go and I’m so thankful I didn’t let a past bad experience determine this good experience. Thank you so much to Dr. Anthony and all the staff that were in office today and Amanda (who spoke to me personally several times). You’re all a great team of people and coming from someone who has dental anxiety, I would happily return!

So far, every time I have come for an appointment here, the experience has been much more relaxing than any other place I have been to. So far, they’ve taken into account my fear of needles and will even hold your hand, and they allow you to hold the suction during checkups and such so that you aren’t drowning the entire time. It is noticeable that they do not wish to see you in any pain or discomfort, as they show worry if you flinch or wince. The only issue I’ve ever had was when I was to get four teeth extracted and despite not feeling it, I was able to see the entire process in the reflections of the television and lamp. Of course I was unable to say anything due to my mouth being completely numb, but it was not entertaining to watch. At least they have Netflix now.

Image Dental has always been a top notch dentist. This holiday season i chipped a molar while eating on the 25th. I filled out a contact card that evening and was called first thing on the 27th and they got me in that afternoon. The dentist gave me several options and i decided to go with a filling on the 2 teeth affected and it turned out perfectly. The team worked so well i even fell asleep in the chair a bit. After all freezing wore off the pain was minimal and teeth feel great. Thank you Image Dental for excellent service.

Had a dental emergency and they squeezed me and took care of the problem the same day. The dentist, Dr. Moore, was very professional and took the time to explain what he was going to do and what follow up was going to be needed. Dr. Lee and Dr. Chang always give you their time and patience, answer all your questions, are kind and considerate, and are very professional with great bedside manner. The receptionists are wonderful as well. Some hygienists and assistants are phenomenal while a couple have been kind but very rough and subpar at best in their applied dental skills. Overall, I have gone here for over fifteen years and I think this is a wonderful dental place and all you have to do should you find yourself with a bad hygienist is to self advocate with them and leave a note on your file to not have them again. I think there are probably one or two mediocre employees at every business and this place doesn’t appear to be an exception but I highly recommend all the same.

I was in a great deal of pain so I called on Sunday afternoon to see if I could get into see a dentist they were booked up that day. However they did get me in first thing Monday morning, Everyone was so kind and I experienced no pain getting my, tooth pulled other than the quick poke from the needle for freezing. I recently took both my sons aged 5 and 7 to image dental care and had the best experience. Both of my kids were very scared and crying and refusing to go into the back. The staff their was so helpful, the dentist actually came out into the waiting room and hung out with my kids to calm them down. When we got them into the back the dentist and assistant were very professional and talked to my boys the entire time to help keep them calm and not to mention how fast they were to fix cavities and get us on our way. We have had a history of bad experiences with dentists in the past and I am so happy to say my kids are not scared of the dentist anymore. 5 stars to the staff at Image dental Care, you guys are amazing!!

I've been in there 4 times in as many months. It seems like I'm continuously having to return for repairs after my initial visit, which always involves more joyous freezing. This happens at other Image Dental locations I've visited so I wonder if it has anything to do with the adhesives they use? Good luck affording Canadian dental work if you don't have benefits!

The appointment started right on time and the entire molar extraction was painless - note that the dentist's office is not my favorite place so this is a big plus. I recommend this office to anyone who is or has friends or relatives that are squeamish and put off necessary dentistry because of fear of having a painful experience. Entire procedure is explained to you as it is happening. I also appreciate the fact that x-rays were performed without a hard cornered square film holder that feels like a dessert plate being forced into your mouth and activating the gag reflex - just a small camera. Thank you to all the dentists and assistants who are very professional.

I am writing this review so others who fear going to the dentist can finally get past that fear. I had horrific experiences as a young boy with my family dentist in the 1960's. The fear and pain I experienced every time I had a procedure done emotionally damaged me for life. I have extreme sensitivity issues with my teeth. Even getting a cleaning caused pain when going to the dentist. Things dramatically changed for me when I decided to give Image Dental in Red Deer a try. I had a cleaning and polishing done on my first appointment. For the first time in my life I felt no pain during this procedure. The hygienist was kind and very gentle and before I knew it, the procedure was completed. The dentist, Dr. Moore, then completed my check-up and noticed a crack on a tooth that I had a very old filling on. Pictures were taken of the tooth in question so I could see what the issue was. Once I saw the picture, I decided to get the old filling replaced and have the cracked tooth repaired. I went in the following day and had the procedure completed. To say I was nervous is an understatement. Never in my life have I had a procedure like this done and felt no pain. Dr. Moore is amazing. Let me start by saying that I have a severe dental phobia, it is a lot more than a dental anxiety. If this sounds like you, take a deep breath and call Image Dental. I have been avoiding the dentist for 15+ years with on again off again wisdom teeth pain and it was really starting to effect my mental health. I couldn’t take it anymore and the search began, thank goodness I picked Image Dental! I met with Jessica and Dr. Chang for my consultation. I kept expecting an eye roll or maybe an annoyed tone (I was crying like a baby) but it never happened. It felt like both of them really cared and I didn’t even have to explain myself. After seeing my wisdom teeth (two were broken and one was infected), Dr. Chang agreed that they all need to be removed and he suggested what sedation he felt would work best for me, he never downplayed my anxiety or made me feel silly. He was understanding and I really felt like I could trust him. The receptions team made a spot available for the following week and even worked with me to come up with a payment plan that I could afford as I have no benefits. They also informed me they do EMT with a valid credit card, awesome! They didn’t want me in pain. They day of, my nerves were completely shot! Jessica and Madie treated me like they knew me and really cared about how comfortable I was. They hit me with nitrous gas (I’m not nervous for IVs but still highly recommend), put some music on and reminded me of my breathing. And wow.. Dr. Anthony is a gem. I’ve had many IVs in my life and never has anyone got it in so fast and painlessly. It felt like a small poke from a blood test. He ensured me that he would stop if I wanted him to and that nobody is making me do this. I woke up once during the procedure (big fear of mine) but felt no pain. I’m pretty sure Dr. Anthony said he only had 2 left and I was out again within seconds, it was like a dream. Other then that 2 seconds of half consciousness, I don’t remember anything and most importantly I didn’t feel/hear anything. The receptionist were also fantastic and answered all my questions (the only name I can remember is Melissa but they were all amazing). Surely Image Dental only hires Saints because I didn’t have one bad experience from anyone and feel truly blessed to find such a wonderful clinic. My only wish is that I came sooner instead of letting it get worse. I will be recommending Image Dental to all my friends and I’m looking forward to bringing my kids. If you have dental anxiety, do yourself a favour and look no further. This experience gave me so much confidence and I will gladly go back for my next checkup. Thank you so much Image Dental team you seriously changed my life!
