Dr. Christie is very informative with any of your dental concerns. Dr. Christie has an Honours designation for Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, Master of Science in Neurophysiology, and a Doctor of Dental Surgery. Her capabilities include Root Canals & Crowns, Restorative Dentistry, Implant Dentistry, and working with children. Her experiences also include Invisalign, and Botox for jaw treatment and cosmetic purposes. Marla is an awesome Dental Hygienist. Dr. Christie, the Dental Assistant, the Dental Hygienist and the Front Counter Staff are always pleasant & caring. Having been a client for eight years I don't have any issues with Fort Dental Health Group. Seniors discounts are also given at this dental office.

I have been going to Dr. Kenny almost my whole life, from 5 years old to 2013 and it has been a wonderful experience every time. I've travelled canada and haven't found a dentist that even comes close to as good as dr. Kenny. This woman does such an amazing job that none of her work has deteriorated so far that I can tell, and I never experienced any pain not even when she performed a double root canal on my two front teeth. I was so scared my smile was going to be ruined forever when I got in a car accident and she sculpted me the most beautiful front teeth crowns and really helped me feel comfortable with such a transition. When I was a young girl I used to try to get cavities because I loved seeing dr. Kenny! I've since moved to a different province but wish all the time I could come back to see dr. Kenny again. I will never trust another dentist like I trust her, shes the best. Very caring, very kind and sweet.

I couldn't get into my usual dentist until later in the week but I had a tooth that was absolutely killing me. I called out of desperation and they got me in the same day! Extremely friendly and honest staff. Dr. Kenny was great, she explained my options but totally understood that I just wanted the tooth pulled. Have been a patient at Ft. Dental for a couple of years now. I'm so impressed that I drive from Edmonton to put my mouth in the care of these people! The ladies at the front desk are warm and efficient. Insurance goes through quickly and I only have to pay a small amount over and above. Tara is my go-to hygenist. She is FULL of knowledge and shares it in really effective ways...she's always explaining what she's doing and adjusting to each client's needs (I know because my husband comes here too...he virtually naps in the chair while Tara is cleaning his teeth!). Honest, encouraging, kind and professional describe her style. And the caramel -flavoured fluoride was impressive! :-) Dr. Kenny (I call her by her first name, Patty) is also a pro. So down to earth and thoughtful. I wasn't wearing my mouthguard consistently and she shaved it down so that it is much more comfortable while still maintaining proper jaw posture. I really do feel that she is keeping a close eye on a few craze lines and striking that balance between preventative treatments but not doing anything unnecessarily. Would highly recommend this office to everyone (and I had been looking for a keeper for several years before I found them!).

faizah ami, just as an outside perspective, being a dental hygienist that does not work at this office. I want to encourage you to go back to the fort dental health group to finish your cleaning. Take the opportunity to listen to what they have said, ask more questions. My question that comes to mind to you is: how long has it been since you have had your teeth professionally cleaned? How much do you value your oral health, because the fact that your hygienist was willing to offer you more time for a cleaning to do her best job for you is something you might want to appreciate. The opposite situation you could have been offered is a quick cleaning that wasn't thorough and finished in 1 appointment to your knowledge, but actually it wasn't. No one is perfect, are you sure she didn't give you some heads up that the appointment might take more than 1 to complete? I know in my 18 years experience as a dental hygienist that there have been a few times that I did in fact tell the client this exact statement (I will need 2 appointments to finish your cleaning) at the beginning of the appointment and then when the time was over they asked me why I hadn't finished the appointment? Not everyone has good listening skills, but some times it's hard for us dental hygienists to know who is listening to us and who is listening to the tv. And I might tell you as well, that your hygienist uses her hands to clean your teeth, not her eyes. I can clean anyone's teeth even if i was blind. It takes years to develope the ability to learn this technic, but many can, who are in fact blind. The blind use braille to read. We use our dental explorers to feel for tartar and dental probes to measure the amount of inflammation that is present. We use the tools god has given us to try our best to restore a good bacterial balance in your mouth. I pray you appreciate your hygienist and that you focus your criticism inward. What could you have done differently?

All I can say is this dentist office rocks. How many people can say that. I have never felt so at home or comfortable while getting work done on my teeth. Dr. Schmidt hums while she is working and it is so relaxing. Dr. Schmidt and Michelle make an effort to make sure you are ok and comfortable during the procedure and always let you know what is happening. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

The front desk was very courteous, helpful and thorough. I came in for an emergency dental situation and Dr. Ross somehow squeezed me in to at least assess the damage to determine if immediate action was required. He clearly explained my options after his examination and patched me up so I’d be ok until a later follow up appointment. His support staff was superb in getting me prepped for the doctor to see me. I was very impressed with the efficiency everything was handled. I recommend this dental office to anyone who wants to be well looked after.

I have been seen Dr Patty Kenny for over 20 years. Both she and her staff are extremely warm, friendly, and professional. A visit is always non stressful in every way. Many people have had unpleasant experiences with dental care and are afraid to go the dentist. As a result their dental health will poor. Seeing a dentist at Fort Dental will always be a positive experience. Try it you’ll see!

I was at the clinic for a scheduled cleaning. Half-way through the hygienist said "I'm out of time. You'll have to come back later to finish". I am surprised, appalled and disappointed that this happened: 1. It's a scheduled cleaning for a new patient 2. If you cannot finish the work in the allotted time, let me know before you start 3. I should have been informed prior to the appointment that they would not finish in the allotted time giving me the option to opt out. And the clinic's excuse: "Sometimes we need more time for new patients. We have other patients booked so we have to stop and have you come back at a different date - if you choose to come back" - Dr. Kenny So this is a clinic that has no ability to estimate the work they have to do; a hygienist who was looking out the window (probably day-dreaming) while she had an instrument in my mouth and now it is up to me if I want to come back to have the work finished (for more money of course). Would you trust these people again? I would not recommend anybody to go to this clinic. Their poor planning will become your problem and their hygienist likes to day-dream while she works on you.

Changing dentists as we have moved from SW Edmonton (too far to drive now). A glitch on Google Maps first took me to 98th Street downtown Fort Sask. The friendly staff gave me better directions on the phone. Very nice modern clinic, clean and efficient. Thorough first assessment. The staff were all very friendly, enthusiastic and polite. The toothbrushes and mouth wash in the clinic restroom will be much appreciated at future appointments.

I travel from Sherwood Park to Fort Dental and it's totally worth the distance to get the excellent service they provide! Dr. Ruddick is not only gentle and sensitive to her patients but she is also proficient in her skill. Her assistants Michelle & Carla are amazing too! When I was having a root canal, they even brought me a warm blanket! Marla makes you feel like she's one of your best friends and she's an amazing dental hygienist who can clean teeth pain-free!! I also have to mention Adele at the front desk who is always welcoming and helpful on the phone. I highly recommend Fort Dental!

I recently had to switch dental offices and I chose Fort Dental because it was highly recommended by a few friends. Its a very modern and clean office. I was not getting anything extensive done, just a check up and cleaning however I was very pleased with the services I received. Karen my hygienist was very thorough with the cleaning and took her time. My dentist, Dr.Ruddick was also very attentive. She asked me lots of questions and took a good amount of time checking over my teeth. Compared to my last dentist office, the staff at Fort Dental was much more thorough and really made me a priority. Guess you could even say it made going to the dentist not bad at all ;)

I have been going to Fort Dental Health Group for a number of years and have always had a pleasant experience, including my required dental surgeries. They have TV's mounted on the ceiling and massage chair to keep you occupied and comfortable. Dr. Luebbert was very professional and caring with my oral examination to ensure my oral health was in tip top shape. The dental hygienist, Payton, did a very thorough job during the cleaning and even took a little extra time to ensure they were perfect. I would highly recommend going to the Fort Dental Health Group it is a painless experience.
