I booked Katya's dance class on Saturday at noon for my boyfriend's birthday. With a lot of weddings lined up for the summer it seemed like a fun learning experience to share as a couple. Katya's class was so different from a lot of the classes we'd tried before. She focused on organic movement and demonstrated techniques while allowing enough time for us to grasp and practice our styles. I loved how fluid and non mechanical everything she showed us was. We had a blast learning new moves and were encouraged to practice new techniques and make them our own. I can't reccomend Katya more, she clearly loves what she does and is able to demonstrate the mechanics so it is easy to follow. Thank you Katya..We'll definitely be back!

Katya was amazing. My fiancé and I went lessons 3 weeks before our wedding. Katya was absolutely amazing. She was patient and very kind. And we had 4, 1 hour lessons. And every lesson we went to we felt like we walked away with some knowledge and accomplished so much in that short span of time. Our first dance was amazing. Everyone had compliments on how it was done and we owe it all to her. I would friendly recommend her to all couples that are looking for some help for their big day. Before our wedding, my husband and I took Katya's 1-hour class to prepare for our first dance. It was great because my husband can do a basic step but didn't know any moves. She didn't have to teach us from scratch, so she taught a lot of great turns and moves to make our dance special! She was very helpful.

We took Katya's Wedding Dance 101 class at first. Katya is really patient and taught us a lot simple but beautiful moves. Then we decided to take more lessons with her. That was such a wonderful experience for both me and my husband. We really enjoyed it. We practiced one time at our venue during rehearsal and video the entire dance. Katya watched the video and helped us re-organize some of the moves so we could have more interactions with our guests. Turns out the dance was so great! Our guests love it. We are so glad that we ace it! Thanks a lot Katya!!!

Katya was an amazing instructor! It was our first dance class and we were nervous and not sure what to expect, even more so because of physical distancing. However, Katya made our nerves disappear almost the minute the class started! We had a lot of fun learning the basics and feel we have a good foundation for our wedding dance. Katya was very accommodating in terms of rescheduling which was necessary because of COVID closures. We’re already talking about taking a refresher lesson before our rescheduled wedding next year! Best wedding dance lesson ever :)

She is very good at teaching some basic steps that can be scaled up or down as much or as little as you want and really knows how to give you the most boost in a relatively short amount of time. My partner surprised me with a virtual dance lesson as a Christmas present. As someone who found this prospect exciting, I was curious to see what we would actually get up to! Upon opening the Zoom call with Katja, she immediately invited us into a friendly and warm conversation about what brought us to her, and the Dance Together project. Katja was incredibly thoughtful in her approach and teaching. She had my partner and I work on some movement fundamentals before branching off into some couples dance techniques. She provided great feedback throughout the one hour session and the time just flew by. I’m looking forward to continuing with more dance lessons with Katja!
