My 3 children have all been in the parent and tot classes, PA days and movie nights! They love "going to the studio"! Miss Allison is very passionate about what she does and it starts with the wee ones. The classes were a great length and filled with fun but also teaches structure and listening skills to the children. Miss Anna is also a great pleasure too! She has such a warm presence about her and is great with kids. Highly recommended.

Allison is amazing. She brought her passion and expertise in dramatic arts to my grade 5/6 class. She taught my students about tableaux, character development and many other components of drama and theatre through fun and engaging games and activities. My students absolutely adored Allison. She is kind, knowledgeable, professional, and she has a natural aptitude for working with children. It is evident when you meet Allison and spend time with her that she is truly passionate about what she does!l

After doing a LOT of research on dance studios in the area and exhausting all of the options, we came across this new gem located in downtown Woodstock. The owner and instructor is both professional and extremely encouraging. She clearly has a lot of experience working with young children and has the best dance resume in town in my opinion. Having a super impressive technical background, dance degree, yoga teaching certification, and affiliation with the Royal Academy of Dance registered teaching status program, she has the whole package and is extremely organized and communicative with parents. Being a dancer myself growing up, it was important to me that my daughter was learning proper technique right from the get go and I wasn't just paying for her to "jump around". We've tried two different studios in the area now and have finally found the perfect one! If you're looking for the perfect start for your little one to start dance classes, look no further, you will be so disappointed if you start somewhere else like we did. I'm so glad this studio is now an option in Woodstock. We couldn't be more excited for our daughter to learn dance both safely and properly.

This school is a treasure. We signed up because it was non-competitive, and the fees included photos and costume (which with our last dance experience was a shock). We couldn't be happier. Miss Allison is unbelievably patient and gentle with the kids. She sets a good example of kindness, elegance, and poise. She is quick to respond to emails. We are already registered for this fall again.

Best Studio in town! We've tried three other studios and none of them even come close to the quality of The Woodstock School of Dance & Yoga. Miss Allison is the most educated dance teacher in town by far with 2 teaching degrees in both dance and child psychology and it certainly shows in the ability of her teaching and the skills even her youngest students accomplish by the end of the year. She treats all of her students equally without segregating them into competitive / recreational categories and doesn't group a bunch of different age groups together like every other dance studio in town does. The program is very affordable being all-inclusive. You won't find a better studio in town. If you're not dancing here, you should be because you're missing out on the best dance education this town and arguably the GTA has to offer.

It's sooooooooo nice to not have to worry about all the extra bills! I am so thankful for this studio! Recital costumes, dance photos, HST and all other fees are INCLUDED in the tuition. There's no where in Woodstock that includes everrthying in the tuition like tht. I can finally afford a really good place for my daughter to dance and she LOVES it! If I could give this 10 stars I would!!!!

This place is amazing! We super appreciate how the owner separates all the age groups. I feel like my daughter is learning at her correct level of development with kids that are all the same age as her in the classroom. It seems to be the only studio in town that doesn’t mix a bunch of different age groups together. Allison is really good at teaching all of these age groups and focusing on what needs to be taught at each level. She is so knowledgeable not only about dance and yoga but about being an educator as well, especially with the the little ones. We were floored when we watched open house - Allison’s ability to keep every single child completely engaged the entire class is incredibly impressive. She is an incredible teacher. I couldn’t be more thankful we chose this introduction to dance with this school for our daughter. Highly Recommend this place to anyone looking for a high quality program.
