Of course, it isnwintertime so we didnt get to try the seating as it WAS covered in snow. This site has an Amazing 270+ degrees of the Saint-Lawrence river, the St-Quentin island and whatever is on the other side (gentilly?) really nice place to walk or bike

Fifteen months of waiting for the event (which was given to me) by my son Guy and his wife Nancy. Needless to say, all the way from Brossard to Trois-Rivières, excitement seized me, and I sing several of his songs. "Give me some oxygen" "Song for Elvis" "Alys in cinemascope" "Hymn to the beauty of the world" "Belmont park" "I am twelve years old mother", and many others ... Before I got there, I thought to myself (as long as people aren't too loud, not too excited)! Backpacks were being searched at the entrance, I thought, "This is surely to check, if the spectators are carrying alcoholic beverages or whatever substances." Inside the concert hall, I am amazed to see that the vast majority of spectators like me are of a certain age, and that there are many more women than men. The more time goes by, the more gray heads pass before my eyes. The room is magnificent, and the decor of the front stage is magical. The Trois-Rivières Symphony Orchestra takes up almost all of the space. Then comes the one we are eagerly awaiting, "Diane Dufresne". In a surge of heart, all stand up "including me" and with full applause, she is greeted with admiration. She is breathtaking… 77 years old, beautiful, fascinating, grandiose !!! La Diva is on stage again! She starts songs that I don't know ... The voice is even more beautiful, richer, more poignant ... Deep down inside, I hope to hear those old songs ... But Diane's concert evolved, she evolved and her audience too. I accept this evolution that takes place over time, but nothing prevents that in my heart, his old repertoire will always hold a big, big place ... Quinze mois à attendre l’évènement (qui m’a été offert) par mon fils Guy et sa conjointe Nancy. Inutile de vous dire que tout le long du trajet de Brossard à Trois-Rivières, la fébrilité s’est emparée de moi, et je chantonne plusieurs de ses chansons. ¨Donnez-moi de l’oxygène¨ ¨Chanson pour Elvis¨ ¨Alys en cinémascope¨ ¨Hymne à la beauté du monde¨ ¨le parc Belmont¨ ¨j’ai douze ans maman¨, et plusieurs autres… Avant d’arriver, je m’étais dit (pourvu que les gens ne soient pas trop bruyants, pas trop survolté) ! À l’entrée on fouillait les sacs à dos, j’ai pensé, « c’est sûrement pour vérifier, si les spectateurs ne transportent pas de boisson alcoolisées ou des substances quelconques ». À l’intérieur de la salle de concert, je suis étonnée de constater que la grande majorité des spectateurs ont comme moi un âge certain, et qu’il y a beaucoup plus de femmes que d’hommes. Plus l’heure avance et plus défile devant mes yeux des têtes grises. La salle est magnifique, et le décor de l’avant-scène est magique. L’orchestre symphonique de Trois-Rivières prend presque tout l’espace. Puis arrive celle que nous attendons avec fébrilité, " Diane Dufresne". Dans un élan du cœur, tous se lèvent « moi y compris » et avec des applaudissements à tout rompent, elle est accueillie avec admiration. Elle est à couper le souffle… 77 ans, belle, fascinante, grandiose!!! La Diva est de nouveau sur scène ! Elle entame des chansons, que je ne connais pas… La voix est encore plus belle, plus riche, plus poignante… Au fond de moi, j’espère entendre ces anciennes chansons… Mais le concert de Diane a évolué, elle a évolué et son public aussi. J’accepte cette évolution qui se fait au fil du temps, mais rien n’empêche que dans mon cœur, son ancien répertoire détiendra toujours une grande, grande place…

I went to see almost all the Cirque du Soleil show since it opened and it's a pride for Trois-Rivières and its culture to have a place like this for our shows. Only detail, it is a little cold some evenings since the scene is completely closed. The open-space architecture is however one of the strong points of the building. Je suis allé voir presque tous les spectacle du cirque du soleil depuis son ouverture et c’est une fierté pour Trois-Rivières et sa culture d’avoir un endroit comme celui-ci pour nos spectacles. De bons restaurant à proximité sauront satisfaire les plus exigeants (réservation suggérée ). Très bel endroit pour voir un spectacle. Service de bar. Je recommande fortement l'endroit. Bon acoustique. Peut être un petit coussin pour les "foufounes" car les bancs sont en plastique. Bon spectacle!
