Not just a martial arts school, this is a community of amazing talented people with a common love for martial arts. This Dojang has personal improved my life, far more than I would have ever imagined when I started here. You learn how to unlock and trust your body while expanding your wisdom and compassion for others. It is better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war.

I've attended Freedom for over six years now, and not once has it felt like wasted time or money to me. The teachers are very active with the class, the class is more like one big family than a group of students, and everyone has something to teach one person and learn from another. The head instructor, master Kurt Ottesen, is a personable, kind, considerate, and very patient individual. I would highly recommend Freedom Tae Kwon-Do to anyone with the time and money to attend.

Freedom TKD is excellent. The school has a traditional approach yet the techniques are all embedded in science. There are so many aspects of the school that I love, so for brevity, Master O and his team are great instructors who give you the guidance and tools for self-mastery.

I've been training at Freedom Taekwondo for almost 5 years. My oldest trained in 2006 too. I recommend Freedom Taekwondo. A very supportive as well as friendly community welcoming for any ages. It has been an amazing journey. It has built my confidence , endurance, self control and how to protect myself. The instructors and students are very friendly and are always willing to help you. I have achieved my red belt and it has been an amazing journey. We are all blessed to have Master Kurt Ottesen leading us. He is always there to listen, teach and support all of us. I look forward to many more years of success and training

Freedom TaeKwon-Do offers superb martial arts instruction for all ages and abilities. I have been training at the school for almost three years now, starting as an adult in my early 20s, and have had nothing but positive experiences here. Master Ottesen and his instructors are extremely knowledgeable, passionate, kind, caring, and dedicated to helping students become the best they can be. I especially love the instructors’ emphasis on self-defence and practical applications of techniques. The school environment is welcoming, friendly, and inclusive, and it’s a great group of people to be around. I also like that there are many skilled instructors and students of both genders, as this helps to create a positive environment for girls and women as well as boys and men. I highly recommend training here!

We have been with Freedom for three years and it has been an amazing experience for our whole family. From the support we get, to the family feel while we are at Freedom it's always a great day when one of our children has Taekwondo to go to. I can not say enough great things about the instructors and seniors that have coached, challenged and supported my children. Master O and his family are both professional and kind. I highly recommend this gym for beginners to professionals.
