I am very disappointed with this school. First, they changed my daughter's day of class about 1 1/2 months after the program started. Second, they cancelled 3 classes because of bad weather without having a make up class or return of the money. Third, the whole price for the recreational dance recital "experience" is crazy expensive, $217 plus pictures, which was not explained before registration.

The teacher treated my wife and son in a very unethical and unkind manner, and despite reporting it immediately to the administration, there was never an explanation provided to us. I don’t appreciate my family getting disrespected by unprofessional and arrogant staff. Spare yourself the crazy cost, there are better places for sure.

I looked at many dance schools before placing my children here and even tried out a different one. I have found the pricing structure for classes competitive and other obligations similar from studio to studio (costumes, recital tickets, photos etc). I love the fact that you can watch your children practice through the one way blinds in the windows of the studios (this is not always the case with other studios). My children (one on the competitive team and one dancing recreationally) are encouraged and challenged at the same time. The staff is approachable and know my children as individuals; their strengths as well as weaknesses where more effort may need to be applied. Both of my kids love this place, have learned a great deal, have fun and have made lasting friendships.

I love the Hip Hop and Tap! I love that there is an All Boyz program and that there is a changeroom just for us.

My kids have danced here for 15 years and have shown massive improvements, in many parts of their young lives, in and out of the studio. Value is what you make of it and like other sports costs can be as much as the parent is willing to support. After years of being at Step by Step I came to understand why they do what they do. At the beginning of our journey I to questioned costs and teaching but when the benefits started coming I truly saw the value for my kids. At the end of our journey I came to one conclusion, you get what you pay for. It was worth every damn penny!

Absolutely love the studio, super high-quality teaching. I was very impressed with the quality of the dance recital.My daughter is begging me to take more classes because she loves it so much. I highly recommend this studio, you truly get what you pay for.

Great teacher at the Adult Ballet and Barre class. Very low key, no pressure. Not overly difficult but you'll get a workout. Not a typical workout/barre class, it's more an actual ballet class. Payment went fine, I never had to deal with anyone really. Parking is fine and free.

There is a male teacher whose interaction with parents is very rude and the administration seems not to mind. There are certainly better places that will offer the same if not higher quality of teaching plus the opportunity to be treated with respect (maybe only those who have danced many years there get that privilege).

Low value, taking advantage of parents’ wish to see their kids Parents pay the whole year and there are no make-up classes for holidays or weather cancellations like in other studios or academies. For the end-of-year recital they charge an absurd price for the costume (maybe twice as much as if you would organize it yourself) and if you want to see your kid dancing you still have to pay $22 per parent, family member and/or friend (for four of us it was $88 to see her in a 3 min performance) PLUS you pay another $10 for your own performing kid to watch the show or else she has to remain backstage (!!) Your kid gets to perform two days (same program) but if you and your family want to attend the second day, you have to pay per person AGAIN. You’re not even allowed to take video of your child, so they can sell you a $45-dollar CD. At the end of the day the show is average or less…beware of this rip-off.

My children have been dancing at Step by Step for 6+ years! Kids are eager to get to dance class every week to learn new skills and technique. We are very happy with the teaching staff and office staff who go beyond! Staff can be seen helping kids tie shoes, get hair tied up. Our family enjoys the end of year recital! Purchasing the DVD is perfect for us so we can go back over the years and see just how much our girls have grown! Those dance costumes have also transformed into a dress up station providing hours of play opportunities at home! Looking forward to the next dance season!

My daughter has been dancing at SBS Dance Studio since she was five. She loves it there I would recommend this studio to any one who loves dance. I give it a 5 star
