My daughter has been dancing at Performing Dance Arts since 2011. She started dancing as a competitive dancer in 2013, the dance journey has been a wonderful experience. Almost 6 years ago I googled "dance studio" and Performing Arts was the first one to catch my eye....thank goodness because I couldn't imagine my daughter dancing anywhere else. Highly recommend there competitive program!

PDA goes above and beyond creating and providing a fun and progressive dance experience. My 2 daughters have participated in Princess camp, recreational classes and competitive dance training. The studio is new, clean, and beautiful. The instructors are engaging, motivating, supportive and fun. Covid has definitely been a challenge but the company has worked tirelessly and admirably to maintain safe operations. The owners, Ryan and Vanessa are exceptional.

Kids' Endorsement: When my daughter was three years old and begging for dance lessons, I took her to three different dance studios in Vaughan, and asked her to choose the one she liked best. She chose PDA. After my son saw his sister practice in class and dance in the Year End show at Mississauga's Living Arts Centre, he wanted to take dance classes at PDA, too! Both of my kids love their teachers, who are friendly, patient, and enthusiastic. They get stickers for participating in class, and there are special fun days for dancing in pyjamas and costumes. Mom's Endorsement: As a parent, what I appreciate about PDA is how well-run it is as a family business and the professional conduct of the staff: paperwork is processed quickly and efficiently; dancewear and shoes are available for fitting on-site; classes start and end on time; there is closed circuit TV and one-way glass for parents to observe classes; children are not released from class unless the teacher can see the parent; and emails are sent out regularly to remind parents of pertinent information and deadlines. True, the Year End Show is adorable, but its success can be partially attributed to the fact that it is run with military precision. Now if someone would just open up a Starbucks next door for the parents, PDA would be perfect! ;-)

The dance school is one of the best dance school in Vaughan. There are cameras in each studios so you can sit in the waiting area and watch your kids dancing. Very friendly teachers and staff, the studio is always neat and clean. Year end show is done very professionally and an exciting and memorable event for both kids and parents.

My daughter was difficult at times (very attached to me) and they were SO patient and really went above and beyond to ensure that my daughter felt comfortable and safe. 7 years later, I can say without any hesitation - great owners, great staff, excellent teaching. There is such a strong sense of community at PDA. During Covid, the owners reached out to families to keep everyone connected and to truly ensure the well-being of their kids. They even organized Zoom meets for the parents to connect. An amazing facility! We have been at PDA for 6 years now. The owners and faculty have not merely strived to create a great program for the children, but a family among their students. The owners and faculty at PDA are also extremely professional, and they take the time to truly listen to their clients/students.
