This school offers a great variety of dance classes and has a wonderful atmosphere. If you are looking to keep an active lifestyle while having fun, It is a great form of exercise as well as a chance to meet and socialize with other students and staff. Highly recommended.

I have always enjoyed dancing, and taking salsa and bachata lessons with Cadence has helped me to improve my skills while having fun! Actually amazing place. Little bit of a hidden entrance to get into the studio however, I walked into Cadence with 2 left feet about 3 years ago felt a warm welcome instantly. The instructors there are all unbelievable dancers and extremely friendly people. Clifton is one of the most humble, talented and friendly people I have met. I highly recommend this school to anyone wishing to learn, grow as a dancer or simply meet an incredible group of amazing people.

I love this studio! They specialize in salsa, bachata, and dancehall. The owner Clifton is one of the most knowledgeable instructors in Toronto, and he makes the classes fun, lively, and friendly. The space is very comfortable, bright with huge windows, and the ceilings are nice and high. Briia’s ladies styling class Monday nights is a must! Thank you Cadence for all the fun times and amazing classes.

Best Latin dance school in Toronto and definitely one of the top in Canada! They promote growth and learning of other dance styles to further develop their students into becoming better dancers in general. From Salsa/Mambo, Bachata (fusion of modern, traditional and sensual), Dancehall, and Zouk, this place is a one stop shop! Their Urban flare and vibe also plays a huge part in making their style very unique. Unlike other dance schools in Toronto, their teams are non-contract based and they encourage their students to go out and learn as much as they can from anyone else in town. A lot of teams in Toronto restrict their students into a contract binding agreement that they are not "allowed" to go learn from other people, which to me, is a show of insecurity of their teachings and quality. But Cadence speaks and shows quality, so they don't need to bind their students to contracts! I actually made a huge life changing move from Vancouver to Toronto specifically to join Cadence. Best decision I've made in my dance life after 15 year of being in the dance world in Vancouver. The director, Clifton is the most humble and naturally talented leader, dancer and teacher. His leadership style reflects the people that are a part of the academy. Everyone is friendly and welcoming, very eager to learn and are in it for their love for dance. He provides quality instructions and over the last 10 years has managed to create teams of quality travelling dancers and performers who are known throughout Canada and the Eastern United States. Not only that Cadence focuses on teaching proper techniques to their students, but they also have the most swag out of any other schools and teams in the Toronto area.....probably entire Canada too!!! If you want to learn to social dance and learn PROPERLY or get into the show biz, this place is definitely somewhere you should start with in the GTA.

Extremely friendly, down to earth instruction from instructors that are recognized around the world! Clifton cares very much about all his students and his choreography is absolutely sick! Been there for 2 years, loved every moment and met some amazing people. Recommend 100% without reservation. It's not Dance Academy; it's a Dance Family. :)

Best experience learning dance yet ;) Instructors are professional talented dancers, classes are fun, and all my friends have had a positive experience as well! Great way to meet people, stay fit and do something social while learning how to actually dance. Amazing place! Clifton is genius at his craft and is really knowledgeable in his instruction and choreography. Whether you are novice or advanced, everyone is friendly and there to support one another's growth. The community here is more tight-knit and personal, as opposed to commercial which I love. Cadence provides a signature fierce and urban flare to their Latin game that you definitely won't find anywhere else in the city.. Would highly recommend anyone check it out.
