I don't get to go all the time as I usually dance WCS. When I do show up many people remember my name and are truly very friendly. The crowd at Royal City Swing are tops in friendliness, manners and a great bunch of dancers. I always take my out of town friends here especially the non dancers, as this is the place to get bitten by the Dancing Bug ;)

Royal City Swing is a fantastic organization with exceptional instruction. Admission is affordable and a complimentary beginners lesson is included starting at 7:45pm (arrive at 7:30). People of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels come to dance. It is a warm and welcoming environment with fun swing music.

Went to a friday night drop in class, and stayed for the event afterwards. It was such a lovely time. I don't drink, so this environment was perfect for a non-drinking Friday night. Lastly parents had kids there dancing too. That was so cool. They have a room in the corner where kids can play in too. Cant wait to go back.

one of the best in town. instructors before class can be hit or miss but dedicated classes downstairs are solid. The community is rock solid- some of the greatest people I've met in recent time you owe it to yourself to check this out if you go nothing going on friday night

I started at Royal City in February of this year, without any prior dance experience. The community has been so welcoming and the extra lessons offered at 830-930 every Friday are so worth the time and money. This is a great low pressure environment to try dancing or to build on the skills you already have.
