After moving to Wasaga 3 years ago, my daughter had been searching for a dance studio to better suit her needs. She has found this at May Dance. She has blossomed into a beautiful and graceful little dancer because of the time and individual attention that is spent on each and every dancer. The dancers are placed age appropriately and to their skill level. There is such a fun, loving, energetic atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. My little Happy Feet has found her dance sparkles again. So glad we found May Dance.

I would not recommend this school. Maydance is very unprofessional and favorites students. I have first hand experience of this as I took classes there for a short while. Although Miss. Helen can be nice ( at times) she talks behind backs and doesn't seem to care about students safety. She connects with students on a personal level and leaves newer students feeling left out and nervous. There seems to be a 'clique' and if you aren't part of it you don't 'fit in'. Miss. Helen is one of the only teachers I have EVER come across who doesn't do barre work every class and puts beginner's in a pointe class. I was told that I already had 'problems' before I came to this school and that Miss. Helen had nothing to do with it. Even though that isn't the truth. Her school made me feel very uncomfortable and every night I would try to get out of going to class. The students in my dance class were already friends and didn't seem to care to try to make me feel welcome. Miss. Helen also gives out students personal Instagram pages and let's them follow her personally. Which is not very professional, especially since she is their dance teacher. This is just a fraction of the problems I have had with this studio. Overall, Maydance is a very negative environment and I recommend you do not choose this school as it is unsafe and unprofessional.

My daughter started taking mini classes at May Dance in the Fall of 2018 and since has fallen in love with all the classes she takes. Miss Helen is such a wonderful teacher, she made my daughter comfortable right from the start and classes so fun now dance is something she genuinely looks forward to going to. Her assistant teacher Miss B is also really great and you can see how much all the kids adore them both. I am so happy May Dance is the studio I chose & look forward to her growing with her dance family over the years to come!

Helen is one of the most professional, caring and inspiring dance teachers that I have come across! Her love for dance and her students really shines through. May Dance is the best studio in Wasaga Beach and surrounding area. The teacher personally works with you and improves everyone in a safe and fun matter. May dance is very friendly and welcoming to all dancers and families. The dancers and assistants are all friendly and egar to teach and improve your dancer. The space is a new and safe renovated studio. The studio is very welcoming for all ages and styles of dance. They have an exellent achieving compettitive team and an amazing recreational program. The studio owner Miss.Helen is an amazing instructor and teaches in a very safe, welcoming, and an extremely fun matter. Miss helen strives to improve your dancers strength, abilities and confedence each class. Overall, May dance is an amazing studio and I encourage everyone to dance here! i am new to dance and my fiance Emma has been telling me about this new school she has started this season with an incredibly talented, elite teacher. I have been doing adult tap this season, and have very much enjoyed the classes. Ms. Helen is so passionate and kind and teaches things very clearly with excellent explanation and demonstration about how to do the steps.I feel confidant learning from her and don't feel as nerves learning. I want to thank Ms. Helen for this season so far and I am excited to keep growing with her as my inspirational motivator and teacher

Would not recommend May Dance! Being in dance for over 35 years teaching and owning my own studio I know about dance and professional ism! There are many things absent here. Helen's claims of training are not evident in her class, no certificates up, no proper warm ups, curriculum or music, knowledge of material seem lacking. Dress code not enforced. She states she is trained to a professional level in Ballroom and Latin but cannot follow basic steps. There are also ethics, posting Instagram addresses of kids on page yet she claims to protect minors, removing my wife from class that didn't state any age level, being told it wasnt appropriate for her to be in class with 14 and 17 year olds, this is common pratice. Allowing kids to be in an advanced class with no experience. A professional would not do these things! Do you homework.. whos teaching you!

As a Nana dropping my granddaughter Ava off to Dance Classes ,I am as excited as she is to arrive . It is a special time and there is never ever even a hesitation about going to class . Miss Helen is warm and welcoming to all of her students and I love watching Ava excel as a Dancer and her pure happiness of being there. Bravo May Dance Studio ????❤

I have been dancing for many years and last year I got to meet this amazing and inspirational teacher who opened my eyes and really changed me in such a positive movement in dance. This year would be my second season with Ms. Helen and I can't believe the growth and change I have had with her in compared too my years before that. She has so much knowledge with technique and her teaching really pushes you to do things that you never thought you could have done. I have been taking ballet for many years and since being with Helen the knowledge and growth in the style has been enormous and sensational. I have learned and have been able to understand and perform so much stronger in dance because of everything Helen has taught me. She carries such valuable knowledge in dance and is very well trained she is the first teacher I have ever had that has truly help me understand the art of dance. She has moved me to a 10 times better version on myself. She is caring dedicated and I promise you would not be disappointed, you would be inspired. Helen cherography is creative, moving, emotional, technical, and Inspiring. Her confidence and knowledge and all aspects of dance truly shows her years of experience and her elite training. I highly recommend everyone to dance there
