There is a phrase you often hear and see when you are in drop in dance studio : dance is community. It might sound cheesy, but it's so true..what Maria (the founder) and the whole staff have created is just magical! I have never before been part of such a warm, welcoming community, that has helped me on so many levels, one of which was finding the love and joy of expressing myself through dance. I'm so very grateful for this place and the people in it????

Such an amazing experience... supportive, helpful and kind dance teachers, spacious dance room, intricate choreography made easy. Highly recommend taking at least one of these classes, whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer.

Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, both in and out of class. When I have a question in class, instructors take time to explain and walk through choreography, technique and concepts and encourage dancers to not only succeed, but enjoy themselves! Even when I feel out of my element, I have fun doing it at Drop In Dance Winnipeg! When I have technical issues/questions outside of class (ie., app errors, uncertainty choosing a program level), responses are informative and done in very timely manner. Drop in Dance Winnipeg has created a safe and welcoming environment for dancers of all levels, and a growing community of individuals who love to dance! I never took dance classes until I gave Drop In Dance Winnipeg a try, and now I go every week! As someone with no prior training/lessons, I have learned and grown so much. I highly recommend purchasing a monthly pass it monthly auto renew pass. This allows me to sign up for as many classes as I want, which is great for those looking to take many classes!

LOVE IT! This drop in is great for those who can’t commit to a full dance season but is interested in improving their dance skills while having tons of fun at the same time! If you think you don’t have enough experience and are worried about being judged by others, everyone is very friendly and welcoming - so there is nothing to worry about! I highly recommend this to anyone, whether you have no dance experience or have lots...you will leave this place feeling great, motivated, and looking forward to the next class!

Would not recommend, because they are nice to you when you are giving them your money, but if there is a problem, then they deflect, accuse and have no sense of professionalism. Terrible experience and would not recommend...also they provide false information in order to look good to the media.

I am a horrible dancer without any exaggeration, yet every time I’ve gone to classes, I’ve had so much fun. I really look forward to more classes in the new year, because I want to work towards getting better. I never expected it, but I think the contemporary classes have been my favourite thus far.

Excellent instructors. Fun challenging yet do-able choreography. I've done drop in classes for the past 18 months and look forward to every class. I would highly recommend Broadway, Jazz Funk, K-Pop, Salsa, Jazz and Lyrical. I can't comment on the other styles as I haven't tried them yet.

Such a fun class. Maria is such a kind, patient and creative teacher. Great for anyone who loves to dance but can’t commit to a full years registration due to time commitments, schedule, etc. Also is a great cardio workout! Can’t wait for my next class!

I've always had a fear of dancing with and in front of people. This is the only place where I feel like can! The instructors and owner do a great job of making you feel comfortable and welcome. The different class levels make it easy to stay at the same pace or give yourself a challenge. A great place for dancers of any level.
