Here you have the opinions of people who have information of the products of The Little Gym of London (Dance School) in the territory close to London (Canada).
At present this business receives a score of 4.6 out of 5 and the score is based on 65 reviews.
As you can read, the average score it has is almost the best, and it's based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we can think that the valuation is quite reliable. If there are many people who bothered to rate when they've done well, it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to set scores when they are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...
This Dance School corresponds to the category of Gymnastics center.
My son loves to come to his classes at the little gym. He has fun building his confidence and abilities while having fun with the classmates and teachers. We've had two birthday parties here as well and always have a great time.
I really enjoyed my year at The Little Gym - the staff are friendly and helpful. My daughter enjoyed the classes for the most part but half way through her year they had to change staff and she did not seem to do well with the new teachers since it changed frequently. They tried their best with plenty of enthusiastic friendly staff I think the lack of consistent teacher made it difficult for her though. Also I'm finding the price to be a bit higher than some other gyms but the best customer service by far.
Looks really fun.
Our grand-daughter and daughter love the Little Gym classes! Everything they do helps build the baby's physical confidence, coordination and strength. I really like how the group of moms sings while doing exercises. I can't say enough good things about the Little Gym
Great place for little Kids. And their covid 19 protocols seem reasonable.
Every kid loves to dance and do pirouettes, my daughter is no exception. I found in the Little Gym an excellent place to let my child's energy flow in a safe and educational matter. Teachers are very well prepared to encourage the love for dancing and doing exercise that leaves your kids ready for bed. Also, the relationship between quality and price has no equal all over the city. I'd recommend to any parent who is looking to integrate their child to a physical activity to at least try The Little Gym, you'll be in love.
Wonderful friendly staff, works to meet kids where they are and grow them and their skills. Zero complaints
A Great gym! The facilities are new and clean, and the teacher are kind and great. My kid is really enjoying the program and can't wait to come back
The Little Gym is a fantastic place for kids to learn, grow and explore! We've been sending our kids for six years now, and continue to enjoy all that this team has to be offer. The staff is friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. I really appreciate that they take the time to know each and every child personally. I can't say enough about how much I love this place, and the programs they offer.
Great place for kid!
I would highly recommend The Little Gym to anyone with kids! Our three year old daughter was struggling with her social and emotional development and The Little Gym was just what she needed. The staff is patient, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic, and really took the time to get to know our daughter. With a plan in place, and the guidance and support of the terrific instructors, our daughter began to flourish! She now has the confidence and has learned the skills needed to feel comfortable entering Kindergarten this fall. If you're wondering whether The Little Gym is right for your little one, give it a try! They have a variety of programs and our daughter LOVES it!
My husband and I simply love The Little Gym and recommend their programs to every new and experienced parent that we meet. We started our son, Jack, at the Little Gym when he was just shy of 11 months old. He was far from crawling and still wasn’t too keen on the idea of “tummy time”. I had just finished attending a Mom and Tot class (we had tried several with no luck of catching Jack’s heart) when I walked by the big windows and saw children laughing and playing to music as they ran about in this warm and inviting room. I decided to go inside to inquire as to what was going on and it was the best decision I have made regarding my son’s development. We attended a trial class, where we were able to bring Jack in for a sit in on one of their regular running classes, and within 15 minutes we knew that this is where we wanted to be. We had never seen our son so involved and excited to be trying new things. We started Jack in the Birds program that day, and within weeks he went from a log on the floor to crawling and running. He was learning speech, visual ques, movement, how to observe, how to listen and how to try – he was even learning how to clean up after himself! And while he was learning all these things, we as parents were learning how to teach, what to look for, how to encourage our son and what he should be learning and when. Jack is now going on 18 months and is graduating from Birds and moving on to the Beasts program at Little Gym; and we couldn’t be more proud! Every week we look forward to our class at The Little Gym. We look forward to what new skills that not only Jack will be learning, but that we will all be learning as a family. I look forward to the many years to come with Jack in the program at Little Gym and signing him up for other dance and sport classes offered by The Little Gym once he is old enough. After every class, my husband and I look to each other and know we made the right decision by attending this program and how lucky we are to have walked past that one day. Nicolina & Allan Keeler
????????
My daughter loved going and enjoying learning new dance skills and the combination of tap, ballet and gymnastics was a perfect combo for the full hour. She has become more confident on her own (very supportive staff) and loved showing her friends her new moves. Thank you Little Gym.
My daughter is now 2 years and 2 months old and has been attending this gym since she was 9.5 months. I'm soon to be moving back to the US and this gym is one of the biggest highlights of our time here. I hope to have my daughter continue with the Little Gym in the U.S.
Highly recommend The Little Gym! Wonderful teachers and clean facility :) Birthday Parties are amazing fun too!
Both of my kids love the little gym, the teachers are amazing, patient and kind. I have no idea how they remember all the kids names even months after not seeing them but they always greet kids as they walk in.
Way overpriced. Little food or drink selection. Friendly and helpful staff.
I could post millions of pics from the Little Gym.. which I have on my Facebook and this is my first post ever on google but because I love the little gym so much I will try to advertise and let everyone know who is hesitating to try.. TRY IT!!!!! You will not regret it!!! I promise u!!! Incredible staff, incredible birthday parties, lets just say its the best gym in town!
Fun based curriculum for kids. They work through various stations in a circuit during the class offering a good balance of one-on-one teaching and opportunity fir free practice. Not too regimented or serious, but the kids develop their skills. Mostly girls in the classes.
My daughter loves it here. Very organized and structured classes . The teachers are so nice and welcoming. They offer free Wi-Fi and let you record and take as many photos as you like.
Absolutely one of the best programs for children!! Having children with special needs, I know how hard it is to find programs that are inclusive. The little gym has always been very accepting and welcoming to my daughters and they look forward to their class every week. Well worth every penny spent!!
We love it here! Excellent, knowledgeable, friendly staff. We've seen our child stretch herself and try many new things. We will be coming back.
I recently had the pleasure of working with the owner Ed on some of his online marketing initiatives. He is hyper focused on making the gym experience as pleasant as possible for his clientele. I encourage you to stop in a check it out for yourself.
Kids learning dancing, gymnastics here
I love taking my son to the little gym! Miss Tara is wonderful with all the kids. The Little Gym is such a friendly environment and would recommend it to anyone.
Both of my girls, one 3.5 years and the other 8 months, love the little gym. Our family has been members for many years and participate in multiple classes per week. Throughout the years, my eldest has seen many physical and social barriers achieved. I am grateful to the Little Gym staff for their excellent work and inviting atmosphere they have created.
I'm a new Mom and started classes at The Little Gym with my daughter when she was only 7months old. We both felt comfortable right away, everyone is so kind and welcoming. We have so much fun every time we go! My daughter just LOVES the different challenges she's given each class and my husband and I can really notice her confidence evolving from them.
I started taking my daughter to the Little Gym last year when she was almost 3, for a parent and child class. They were so accommodating - I also wore my infant son in a wrap during classes! We joined in April, and I was so happy with the staff and facilities, that after a few weeks I signed up both children for summer classes. We returned this summer too! TLG has an amazing make-up policy and I love that they will keep an eye on my oldest so I can do a parent and child class with my youngest.
Every class is a good experience. I credit them with teaching my children to take turns
This is our third summer of classes at The Little Gym. Our daughter loves coming each week. The instructors are patient and kind, and always make sure the students are involved and having fun. We love that they learn new skills and do different activities each week. We can’t wait to come back again!
My daughter has been attending the little gym for a little less than a year in both the fall/winter session and the summer session. She is 19 months old. She loves going every week and right now she's in the unlimited package for the summer so we go a lot. The staff are fantastic with her and all of the other kids. They are patient, educated and genuinely care about the kids. She has improved so much since starting. I wish there was an unlimited package for the fall/winter session obviously the price should be adjusted but I would definitely pay extra to go multiple times a week! That is my only complaint!
My little guy and I started attending Little Gym when he was 4 months old and we have loved every minute! Each week we look forward to going to Little Gym, it is a community for both baby and parent. A fun place to learn and grow! If you are looking for a way to get out with your baby, meet new people and watch your baby grow and develop Little Gym is the right place!
Our kids love it here! Relatively expensive, but worth it.
This place is amazing for the little one
I feel these classes are for kids to young to enter normal structured classes or didnt get accepted in another program .. staff are friendly and very nice ..j just found a huge drop in the gymnastic structure for my 6 year old. They dont have enough teachers or student or back bone to keep the kids in check. We pulled her out mid season as it is an over priced day care I feel
The staff are excellent with the kids and help them gain confidence and strength. I definitely recommend the little gym - it helps prepare kids for school and is a great way to help with separation anxiety.
We have loved our experience at the little gym. My one year old claps every time we pull into the parking lot and can’t wait to get in and get his shaker to start class every week. The team is incredible and he has learned and developed so much thanks to them!
My kid loved this place... loads of fun for little ones!
To the parents who have a child struggling at The Little Gym, We are the parents to Nolan, a 4.5 year old boy. Nolan is clever and witty; he’s observant and cautious. When he’s comfortable, he’s silly and relaxed. But, when there are new situations, people, or places, he’s often fearful, inhibited, or sometimes shut-down. Keeping Nolan’s difficulties in mind, we would like to share Nolan’s and our experience at The Little Gym. As a toddler, we enrolled Nolan into a parent-child class. He would often become overwhelmed or scared during class, and he would cry easily – whether it be from a peer being too close or a parent not being by his side. Though we thought about taking Nolan out of the class, we persisted; we wanted to increase his exposure to surroundings outside of our home, all while we were present. Not to mention, the staff were incredible; they did not push him to participate, but held space for the stage he was at. Come age three, we registered Nolan in a ‘Sports Skills’ class – a good fit in terms of focus, as Nolan loves playing sports at home. This was a class for children only, and parents could observe from a window. Nolan’s first few classes were incredibly difficult. He demonstrated both social anxiety and separation anxiety; he was distressed and overwhelmed. Nolan either cried or disengaged himself, without any form of participation. The staff jumped right in to develop a plan with us and their expertise shone. They implemented a baby-steps plan; one where they would modify the environment as needed and help Nolan meet that ‘just right’ challenge, all while following his lead in terms of readiness. For the teachers, this involved one-to-one support for Nolan, until he gradually became more comfortable in his class. For us, the process of Nolan going into his first class to being able to go into a class independently took approximately five months. This timeframe would certainly vary child to child. Now that Nolan is four, he is still enrolled in a sports-skills Little Gym class. Every week, I can see how much progress he is continuing to make. He enters his class eagerly and happily. He speaks freely and excitedly with his teachers. He looks at me through the window to give me a thumbs-up or a smile. Though Nolan tends to participate from the sidelines, he’s showing interest and engagement. And, I know it’s clicking for him because when we get home, he’s happy to explain and demonstrate the sports techniques he’s learned. This process was not easy. It took dedication, perseverance, patience, and hope from both us as parents and the staff. It required trust, knowing that the staff were experienced in working with children with unique needs and passionate about helping them reach their potential. We are forever grateful to Ms. Mari Hughes, co-owner of The Little Gym, for working front-lines with Nolan and for taking the lead in the development of his plan. We would also like to thank Mr. Dan for always bringing the best sense of humour to the table, and for making Nolan laugh during every class. We are also thankful for the team of teachers at The Little Gym who have worked with Nolan in the most understanding, supportive, and encouraging way. We are grateful that, as parents, we honour Nolan’s experiences, accept his feelings, and trust that he will continue to grow in an environment that challenges him at a pace that is right for him – such as The Little Gym. This is not always easy, and it can sometimes take a concerted effort, but it is so worth it. Lastly, we would like to thank Nolan - for being our son, and one of our greatest teachers. Sincerely, Two parents who know as much (or as little) as you. (John & Sasha Girden)
My daughter, 5 years old, attend a week long camp this summer. She had such a good time! The first day at pick up before my husband could ask about her day, she said “I want to come more. Please can I keep coming.” She is now signed up for classes the whole year. The registration process was super simple! They are on top of things, communicating before the camp to ensure a smooth process. We did the half days and to our pleasant surprise even a snack was included each day. Totally recommend!!
We love the Little Gym! Both my children go there and love their classes. The instructors are so friendly and caring, and my kids have learned and developed so much there. It's a home away from home! Thank you Little Gym!
Always had a good experience with them
My original review "so far so good" was published Aug 6, 2010. I decided to come back to update the review. Read below for the update. Original review: Took my 4.5 yr old there twice and so far so good. The teachers are nice and my son had an excellent time (he never wants to leave at the end of his class). The summer seems to be slow for this age group as his class is always 5 or fewer little gymnasts in total. I hear they are usually much busier in the fall and spring, so we'll see if that changes things. (I will say that this gym seems to offer far fewer classes than other competition in the area like gymworld, but as I haven't tried others, I cannot say if that's a good or bad thing) W.r.t. price, I can't say for sure w/o sitting down w/ my calculator, but I'll say it's about $20 per class. Updated comments Sept 2010: After completing the summer semester of classes, I signed up my son for the fall semester, however, all of a sudden, my son has completely lost interest and now thinks the classes are boring! I think this has more to do with the switch from a class that was led by an excellent teacher to one that is at best 'so-so' than my son's actual interests. So far (as I haven't seen all the teachers there), I think Kristy and Jeff are excellent. However some of the other teachers are less satisfactory in their student management (for example, they'll let students hog one piece of equipment for long periods of time, or they won't ensure that every child gets a turn with them on the piece of equipment they are spotting). What's even more interesting is The Little Gym (London North) process for refunding semester fees. Basically to save you the run-around I got, you have to call them and tell them you want a refund, at which point you have to wait for a call-back from a manager, then finally, once the manager is convinced of your intention, they'll say they have to fill out some forms (well so they say) and then call you *again* to actually process your refund back to your credit card. The refund process therefore is less than satisfactory (even w/o the runaround that I will not mention here).
This is always so great every time our son is here!!!
My kids love this place
