My daughter had an incredible experience here. The facility is incredibly spacious and beautiful. The teachers are incredibly professional some of them come all the way over from Toronto just to teach here in London. The entire atmosphere and program is very professional. Elan Dance Arts is one of a kind. We first joined the studio last Summer when my daughter did private ballet lessons for 10 weeks and absolutely loved it. She would come home and just keep dancing. We knew the teachers had a great impact on that. Everyone was so friendly, welcoming and encouraging and very helpful if I had any questions in regards to their programs. We then signed her up for Jr ballet on Tuesday nights, as well as joined the competitive team. She loved every single dance class and the Jazz routine which is super cute and is still our favourite. I then signed up for ballet myself and the adult ballet class was really great. Ms Laurie - Ann makes class so fun. She tends to everyone’s needs and explains all the moves well. Even the ones who never danced before were able to follow along easily . I also signed up my youngest daughter for the Super stars class. It was the first dance class she has ever taken and again she loved it so much. Even when Covid lockdown came along , Elan Dance Arts did not disappoint with their online classes. You also had the option to bank your classes for those who preferred that option. When in studio they made sure everyone was dancing safely. The end recital costumes ( included in tuition ) were super cute and my girls still love dressing up in them. Unfortunately, we are now moving away but I can highly recommend this dance school to anyone as it truly is wonderful for all ages and all skill levels. We want to thank Elan dance Arts for a fantastic year and we will miss coming here. Thank you !

This is my daughters first year at Elan and she absolutely loves it! Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. She enjoys the challenging classes and the patience of the qualified teachers to bring the best of each individual dancer. Definitely recommend this dance studio!

I signed up for a free trial and was in contact frequently with the owner to arrange my trial. While waiting, there was an opportunity to pay $4 as a donation and have "unlimited classes", but very few details were provided. The owner kept encouraging my friend and I to pay and receive details after, and eventually we both paid and found out that it was only 1 day of classes, and that day was the following day. This was extremely late notice so we both couldn't attend, and when I contacted the owner to express my disappointment I never heard from her again. Since it was only $4 I am have not fought this further, but I really did want to try classes at this studio and am deeply disappointed that the owner could not rectify my concern and chose to ignore me instead of pursuing a potential customer.

Great studio! We've had the same teacher for our little girl for a couple of years now. Now we are bringing our son to dance too! The EDA family has been nothing but accommodating to us and making sure we feel like family! Couldn't be happier to have my kids dance here. And I look forward to doing adult classes in the near future! They have such a great variety of classes with a variety of time slots to fit our busy lives! This will be our forever dance home.

My daughter is passionate about dance and learns differently. After three years as a competitive dancer, we made the decision to switch studios and train with Elan and my daughter is now thriving! Everyone at Elan goes out of their way to make my daughter and all the other dancers, from toddlers to children, feel welcomed, and she loves all her classes and teachers. As a dance mom of a child with special needs, I can't overstate enough how rare it is to find a dance studio that takes the time to listen and work with your child so they get the most out of their dance experience. Thanks to everyone at Elan for their caring and empathy. My 8 year old has told me that she finally feels "seen" and "heard" by her dance teachers, and her confidence has bloomed. She currently takes, hip-hop, ballet, jazz, break and acro classes and is thriving! With the threat of Covid always looming, it is never easy to make the decision to participate in group activities. Shawna has gone the extra mile with safety protocols to keep the dancers safe, and it is so reassuring to know my daughter can dance in safety. Our kids need dance classes for fun, fitness and mental health more than ever! As a choreographer with 30 years experience, I can tell you that the choreography for all numbers, both competitive and recital, is always well done, with tight formations, interesting transitions, innovative concepts and a great use of the musical dynamics, which is something I am always keenly aware of with my background. Combine this innovation with first rate technique in all classes, from ballet to breakin' and Elan is simply a first class studio. Their toddler programs are adorable, and there's tons of great choices for adult dancers too! Elan is a place that treats their dancers like family, and cares about them as people, not commodities. I'm so grateful we found Elan and am so happy with my daughter's progress! Located in London, Ontario, Elan Dance Arts is definitely worth the drive!

Loved the free trial of dance class at Elan. The owner and the teachers were so friendly and helpful and my 2 1/2 year old felt comfortable there immediately. The mini movers class is perfect for any toddler. We signed up for spring session as soon as we got home. My daughter can’t wait. Highly recommend!

We have been so incredibly overwhelmed by how wonderful our experiences have been at Elan. We had been at another dance studio, and found that they were not inclusive. They did not welcome all abilities. Elan not only welcomes them, but celebrates them. The teachers offer such intentional support to all the students. My son use to do gymnastics. Whenever I picked my son up from gymnastics, I'd ask him how it went, and he would tell me everything he had to work on, and all he had gotten wrong (he was a great gymnast!). When I pick him up from classes at Elan, he quickly tells me all he has mastered and what he did well. And then he tells me what he is going to practice so that he can master the next thing. My girls enjoy the preschool program and the shining stars class, they always come out with big smiles and stickers, and eager to share what they had learned. What a gift the teachers are giving the students. They are more confident in their abilities and are learning so much. They are celebrated for what they bring to class - whether that be flexibility and strength, a fancy tutu, or a support worker and stuffed dog. I will quickly recommend Elan to everyone! Fair prices, great classes and teachers, and memories, skills and friends that will last a lifetime! Thanks Elan for welcoming our family to yours!

My daughter has been attending Elan since she was 3. We started out in pre-acro and she has grown so much with her dance over 9 years at the studio that she is now taking multiple styles of dance and is part of the competitive team. (It was a goal she set for herself and with the help of the amazing staff she was able to achieve that dream) The teachers are wonderful and genuinely care about the students, not just within the wall of the studio but they love to know how things are going in their everyday lives. I was looking for dance class for my 2.5 years old daughter and I found Elan Dance Arts. From the first interaction, I was able to see how professional, friendly and helpful they are. We just had a trial class for my daughter and we loved it. My daughter had so much fun, the class is fun and interactive. At the end, she didn’t want to go home. My family has been dancing at Elan Dance Arts for 13 years. One daughter started taking dance and soon my other daughter and son followed. All three have been involved in both the recreational program and the competitive dance team. Their experience at the studio has been like a second family. They have made friends for life and one has even begun teaching there. Elan Dance Arts is a safe space both physically and mentally and the staff and owner are open to listening to concerns and to problem solve to make sure the dancers have the best experience possible. The studio is not only a comfortable family friendly place to be but a professional dance studio and I watched as my children grew as dancers and were able to compete an amazing level. Immediately I knew this was the dance studio to go with- Shawna was so friendly, helpful, and positive. When we got to visit the studio, everyone was so kind and welcoming, and her teacher Miss Raquel made my daughter feel so special about trying on her very first pair of dance shoes. She can be nervous about new experiences but they made her so, so excited to start! Truly the best decision!

Fantastic experience so far. Shawna is super communicative and helped walk us through the whole process as this is our first year with this studio. Very fairly priced for the whole year. The studio carries the dress code they require, and we were able to have our little fitted and outfitted for a great price during orientation. Definitely recommend!

It has been a little different with covid but Elan is managing very well adhering to local restrictions. I feel very safe sending my daughter to classes here.

I am very happy I found this great kids program in Lambeth! My boys love to dance and this was a perfect introduction to get them started in a program setting. The staff are extremely friendly and have experienced instructors for many types of dance. My kids are having so much fun and look forward to each class!

Would highly recommend Elan dance especially if you have a shy little one who’s working on confidence building. Shawna and the staff were amazing with taking extra time to help my daughter feel comfortable enough to engage as it was the first time she had tried anything like this. My daughter felt welcomed and enjoyed the lessons she had. The studio is organized and has all necessary covid precautions in place. They also have lots to offer. I can also say it was nice to see return students and how positive and happy they seemed when approaching the doors as if a place that felt like home.
