My eldest daughter has been attending Lights Up for approximately 3 years and my youngest daughter approximately 1 year. My daughters have both grown and developed substantially due to the exceptionally talented teachers at Lights Up. At the beginning my youngest would barely participate and within a year there is a remarkable difference with her skills. She now loves attrnding as teacher Val makes it so fun! We have attended both the South Surrey and Cloverdale locations. The teachers are talented and skilled in matching the students abilities to their parts/roles but also work individually with students to see growth and improvement. I am impressed with the quality of the production that they put on. We are so happy we found Lights Up and highly recommend them!

Two of my children (almost 12 and 9) have been involved since they were 3-4 years old. Both are shy by nature and one struggles with social anxiety. Lights Up has been such a positive and safe outlet for their confidence building. The staff are great with their students, passionate about what they teach and very encouraging. They make sure each child gets a part and feels special. Overall, a great establishment for fostering confidence, team work, and creativity. Plus, they will get what they sign up for ... professional instruction in areas of acting, singing and dancing.

Our daughters love going to Lights up, it is great watching them learn and progress in the drama, singing and dancing aspects taught at Lights Up. Lisa and her team are professional and approachable. At the end of each term there is a production, (taped during COVID) where we get to see the progress over the term. I would recommend Lights Up to anyone with a child interested in theatre, acting or justt as a way to come out of their shell.
