Fabulous dance studio and fabulous dance teachers. They are a non-profit organization, and if in need they can help you with a subsidized price. The dance shows/recitals are very well done.

We had many years of positive experiences at this studio but in the last few years, under new management, it has changed quite a bit. Creators is fortunate to have some incredible teachers. Chris Larsen is a world class ballet dancer and instructor. His instruction is top notch and comes with years of experience and special training. He is very professional with the students as well. Joanna Liege is a brilliant dancer and choreographer. She has choreographed some award winning pieces and was always a wonderful encouragement and inspiration for my daughters and many other dancers. Janessa McGrath is the founder of RythmGround the hip hop crew. She's an inspired dancer, teacher and choreographer. She really cares about the kids and their character development. There are more great teachers, I won't list them all. They also put on a lovely year end show. The reason for the low stars is certainly not the teachers or the students, it's the management. I believe that it is unacceptable for a business that is set up as an activity for young people to be unwilling to receive and process feedback from the parents of their students. When a parent sends an email with questions and or concerns to the establishment where their child is participating, the correct course of action for the business is to reply "thank you for your feedback, we are addressing these concerns, etc etc" . Ultimately, a dance studio or a soccer association or a skating coach is a business, and their students' parents are their customers. In all our kids' other activities we've experienced this kind of business model. In our kids other activities we have been comfortable communicating questions or concerns with the management and gotten helpful responses and feedback. After 1 email addressing a few questions and concerns at Creators, the Artistic Director responded by saying that it was clear that we did not trust them so we can not continue our business relationship. She asked that we not send our 4 daughters to class from that day forward. (3 weeks into the year) this was devastating for our girls, two of whom were young teens and very hurt that the Artistic Director "didn't want them" there anymore because their mom wrote an email. We chose not to pursue the issue with Creators further because ultimately if a kids activity has a lady running the show that is willing to hurt the kids because the parents have concerns, we are not interested in trusting this kind of individual with our children. I want to stress again, there are many wonderful teachers and families at this studio. If you don't need to deal with the administration, or at least if you do not question the Artistic Director at all, this may be the place for you.

Creator’s Art Center is an amazing place for kids to learn dancing in a caring and upbeat environment! I love their year end productions where we are able to see our kids shine and thrive, each of them on their on single way! Love the place, love their professionalism, love their atmosphere!

If you're in the Kelowna area and looking for a dance school for your child, I highly recommend Creator's Art Centre! Led by Laura Elliott (their gifted and amazing Artistic Director) -- the team is passionate, accomplished, patient and kind. They also work hard to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment (this is super important to me), while inspiring and challenging kids to be the best they can be. In addition, I appreciate that they promote age-appropriate costuming, music and choreography. I've attended a few of their year-end recitals/shows over the years supporting friends/the children of friends, and I am consistently blown away by the quality of the shows, the community around Creator's and how much fun the students seem to be having. They also have a beautiful and professional studio space in a very central location. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars, to be honest! On top of all that, they're the only non-profit dance school in the Okanagan. If you're looking for a great dance school for your kids, check out Creator's!

My Daughters have been dancing here for many years. They both did 5 years of tap and then we took a few years off as they wanted to try other things such as gymnastics and voice etc. My youngest daughter has now been back at the studio for two years. This fall she is starting Impact their competitive program and she is really looking forward to the challenge. She has loved every teacher that she has had even if they start off a bit different by the end of the year she has learned so much and has enjoyed every moment of it. They have an automatic payment system that can be done with a credit card and that has been the easiest for us.

This year marks my sixth show with creators. I have loved every single discipline i have taken here. I always feel very comfortable and cared for when i attend class. The instructors are very knowledgable about injury prevention, proper warm up and stretching, and dancing safely. I have always felt respected, and valued in class and have never felt as if my instructors were pushing me past my limits. This is a great place to dance.

Creator's Arts Centre put on an amazing spring showcase this year. Though nothing beats seeing live theatre, Miss Laura's team managed to convey the same passion and energy through film that it felt like being right there. The variety of the programming was impressive, and the skill of the dancers was delightful to witness.

My daughter has had such a positive experience at Creator’s over the past two years. Although she only started ballet last year, she was encouraged to participate in some individual competitions. The teachers at Creator’s are kind but also push students to do their best, recognizing that each student has their own unique capabilities. The office is always very easy to deal and works to make sure you have all the information you need in a friendly way. I highly recommend Creator’s! We are excited for another dance year!

This is the third dance studio my girls have danced with and it is by far the best!! The teachers are all amazing (both technically and personally), but it's the culture of learning over perfection is really incredible. Dance can be a really critical world, but at Creator's my girls have only ever felt encouraged and supported. They've missed their dance friends all summer and can't wait to be back for a third season here!

Creator's is an amazing studio! We are heading into our 3rd season with Creator's and each year it gets better and better. I have 4 attending and every single one of them is welcomed with a smile and happy faces. The student bonds are unreal, they treat each other with respect and love. They are each other's biggest cheerleaders. Everyone is made to feel confident and comfortable no matter the skill set. You won't be disappointed in this studio! Best dance studio!! Great year end show!! I couldn't say enough about Creator's Art Centre...they have impacted our family in so many great ways! I have 2 children (6yr girl, 11yr boy) that have danced here for multiple years (hip hop, ballet, jazz) and now because of the joy they express at home, my third child is dancing too this year. The teachers, the parents, the program and the director are all amazing! They provide a very understanding and safe environment that meets all children's needs, building self esteem and fostering self confidence through dance. Creator's is a place where my children have made positive friendships, learned to dance and truly feel at home.

I attended the online dance show this year - it was a blast! I was so impressed with the creativity and effort Miss Laura and the other teachers put into this performance. With regulations in place - it is so amazing to see studios put in countless extra hours to pivot to ensure the show goes on.
