This is an absolutely amazing studio. About two months ago, i found this gem and signed my daughter up for a trial class in one area of dance. It's been about two months now and she is currently enrolled in three different areas of dance, acro, jazz and ballet. From the moment you walk into the studio you are not only greeted with a friendly smile but made to feel very comfortable. Everyone is so very approachable and warm but at the same time very knowledgeable and carry themselves with such professionalism. The director Miss Lena is truly a treasure along with all of her staff. Every class the students come out smiling and you can tell not only were they learning but they were also having so much fun! My daughters attitude, her discipline, her self esteem has all grown and her passion for dancing shines bright since we decided to join the studio. My daughter and I can not rave enough about everything and everyone there. So not only do we thank them from the bottom of my heart but also HIGHLY recommend this studio if you are looking for a place to sign up, look no further. They also offer adult classes as well. The instructors here are amazing at what they do! This is my daughters second home! We have her enrolled in 5 classes. Many thanks to Hetta Studio for being such a wonderful influence and huge part of my daughter's life as we get ready for year 3

I thought I'd give this place a try last season because it was a new dance studio and I like supporting local business owners. I signed my daughter up for hip hop. This was at the older location. The place was small and in an older building but there was seating and cameras to watch the kids dance and progress. The hip hop instructor was off sick every other week, causing the owner to have to get substitute instructors who didn't even know the recital choreography. This confused the kids and they didn't learn enough. The original instructor ended up quitting 2 weeks before recital. The kids were horrible and it wasn't even their fault. Aaaand I was charged over $100 for a costume that came from Walmart (George brand). The owner moved to a new building at the end of the season, which did not have proper seating for parents and no cameras. She claimed the landlord of the old building had locked her out with her stuff in the building and the cameras and seating would be back soon. So I signed my daughter up for another season, this time in a jazz class with the owner herself, expecting the conditions of the dance studio to improve. Well they never did. This dance studio is in a run down building which also contains a food bank and an AA meeting place directly down the hall. It's dirty and smelly. If you go outside to your car at all during the lesson the doors lock behind you and you can't get back in. Ridiculous. I wouldn't go down to my car in the first place if I could actually watch my daughter's class from a comfortable seating area. I still stuck with it for half of this season but my daughter has told me aboit the treatment she has been receiving from her instructor (the owner herself) and I have decided to pull her out. My daughter has left the last 4 classes crying and wouldn't tell me why until just recently. Lena has singled her out , yelled at her for not being in uniform while letting other students in the same class get away with it, threatened that she will sit out in dance class if she isn't dressed properly. It's my fault she isn't in uniform because I am a busy person and alot of the time we can't make it home to change first. I don't appreciate Lena threatening my daughter. Not to mention, my daughter purposely danced as badly as she could in the last class and Lena did not give her one correction. This is either because Lena dislikes my daughter or because she is not a good dance instructor. I could keep going with complaints honestly. And that's why I'm pulling my daughter out of this studio and that's why I could never ever recommend this place to anyone. Seriously. Take your money elsewhere. There are better studios for the same price point with a better location and instructors. This place is a joke and the way they run their business is terrible. I'm shocked to see 5 star reviews. I would be questioning the authenticity of those.

This place is great! My wife and daughters love coming here. All the teachers are very nice and answer all your questions. They offer many dance classes, not just for children but for teens and adults too. They also offer some weeklong dance camps during the summer too.

My opinion on this Dance Studio is that it is very bad I've went there before for 1 year and my experience was absolutely terrible there is no where to sit and the two dance instructors are vary mean and disrespectful to me and and my mom the owner and head dance instructor miss Lena body shamed to children one of them was me and one of them is my friend half the time you have to call the office to unlock the door before you can enter the building and the secretary is very unprofessional and has no idea what she's doing . half the time she's not even there so they're short-staffed because Miss Lena has to work the desk. the washrooms are very unsanitary including the whole establishment .

My daughter just finish a week of musical theater summer camp. She sked me to sign her up for more summer camps at Hetta. My daughter did musical theatre before, in another city, but she fell in love with this place after the first day. Everyone is friendly and you feel welcome. I asked my daughter why does she like here. She told me that they teach you a lot in short time. More, it is clear that the kids enjoy being here. We are very happy to tell all our friends about Hetta Studio of Dance and Music.

As a student myself you can take my word for it this studio is absolutely amazing. The best way to explain it is that it is a home away from home. Teachers, owners, students are polite, kind, caring, energetic, and hard working. This is the best place to go if you are a beginner or even an expert.
