Both my kids grew up in GYDTP classes, camps and programs. The GYDTP has a beautiful approach to teaching dance. The kids learn about community and also discipline, rigour and also kindness, creativity and also the importance of strong technique .... they both became wonderful dancers. Our 6 year old daughter has been taking classes with Guelph Youth Dance for 2 years now and I can't say enough about what a high quality and special place this school is. Classes are taught by incredibly talented dancers who are also tremendously skilled at teaching children. The approach to dance is a very holistic one that connects movement to music, breath, imagery and to each child's individuality. It leads to confident and skilled dancers with a real love of dance!
