I would not recommend sending your child here if they are black or radicalized. The school is 95% white and the administration does not create a black positive, conducive learning environment. Way too much racism and ignorance at this school, not only from uneducated students, but from teachers as well.

I wouldn't recommend sending your child here as there are many drugs being dealt, and also many 'druggies'. People have seen something in a blue doggy bag being handed to someone, and soon enough those two walked away fast. Drugs, alcohol and many things and being smoked, consumed and done. Disgusting. Unless you'd like your child becoming a druggy *AND* an alcoholic, proceed sending them here. Wouldn't nominate or advise a parent to send their child to this school. I hope this was helpful.

I went to ESA and there wasn’t any racism or druggies. They even started clubs for learning languages like Ojibwa and learning about other cultures. Also, what some people said about the school being 95% white, that might have been true a while ago but in my English class half of the people were black or asian. The teachers and students there were really nice. The only complaint I have is how much homework they gave out.

some places just have good energy. this is one of them. friendly staff and teachers, diverse kids with interests in the arts, and a nice space to learn.
