I was hesitant at first to sign up with Arthur Murray Dance Studio. I was looking for dance lessons for my husband and I that was focused exclusively on Latin Dancing (salsa, chacha, meringue). My husband thought we should give Arthur Murray a try despite my hesitance which was mostly based on the program being curriculum based and structured. I was looking for a "We are just hear to dance and have fun" experience. Well much to my surprise not only did we get the "We are just hear to dance and have fun experience... we got much much more! It's amazing how much technique and skill is involved in all styles of dance. Our first class ended with a sit down with Daniel and Sandra to plan out our curriculum for the year. I was ready to have to push hard to be solely latin focused as my husband and I have no interest in fox trot and swing style of dance. Both Sandra and Daniel had no problem making our program strictly Latin focused and even suggested Latin types of dance that we had never heard of. One being the Bachata which is now our favourite! The professionalism of the staff has been truly amazing. Daniel, Bill, Sandra, Kim and Rory are wonderful, talented teachers (Sorry if I left anyone out we haven't experienced all the staff yet!) When we are struggling the teachers listen to our concerns and immediately have a solution or they will grab another teacher and say hey what do you suggest? There is an aura of team comradery amongst the staff. You are always greeted with a smile and a hug and are made to feel very welcome. If you are looking to learn how to dance and you want an elite experience you don't need to look further, Arthur Murray Dance Studio is first class. It's been almost a hear now since joining the studio and I look forward to each time we step on to the dance floor, feeling the stress of the day being danced away in my husbands arms!

Literally got chased out of the parking lot by a worker here when I was trying to figure out where to park for the next door climbing gym. This was a very bizarre and extremely unpleasant experience. I would avoid a place that is so inexplicably hostile towards a neighbouring business. What is the deal?
