I have 2 daughters that have attended Dance Artemis for the last 11 years. My eldest daughter began at 4 years old and my youngest as well. The classes are very well done Ms. G who runs the dance school gives a very detailed list of the ins and outs and what is expected of the children. She can be strict. However, my daughters have learned to be organized, driven and have learned to take constructive criticism without taking things personally. Their end of year Spring recital is always a joy to watch and the children take part in helping create and choreograph as they get older. My girls thrive in this Dance School and I can not recommend it highly enough.

I was really dissatisfied with the service. My child's teacher was good. The dance classes were mostly fun for my child unless they ran into the Mrs., but parent teacher communication was severely lacking. When signing up, we were told (over the phone) to just slip our payment under the classroom door since it would be after hours and she told us what time to show up for the first class. When the Christmas concert came around, I informed one of the class assistants that my child would have to miss the first performance. She said it was ok and they would figure something out. When performance day came around, I got an irate and very unprofessional call, where I was yelled at for not bringing my child to the performance. I was told he was not allowed to attend the other performances and then hung up on before barely getting a word in. I had just found out that my grandmother was dying in hospital literally 10 minutes before this call, so that was just the icing on the cake. My child and my parents have also met this older woman and agreed that she is a verbally aggressive person. I feel that if you're paying almost $600 for 1 class a week for the school year minus holidays, extra days the school takes off, and storm days. Plus $20 a ticket to go see your kid preform. The least they could do is keep you informed and up to date in a friendly and personal way. I will not be taking my child back and do not recommend.

Very caring and professional knowledgeable teachers. Both kids loved the class and learned enormous amount in a short length of time
