Very welcoming spot with some of the best songs and singing I have ever encountered.

We very recently enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music making, singing, stories, recitation, and even some dancing. It was like an enormous Newfoundland Hug in a kitchen! I would highly recommend Sullivan's Songhouse to anyone who wants to hear what it's like to grow up in the area and understand why Newfoundland is such an incubator for talented musicians and amazing music. Don't be surprised if your eyes get a little bright with a tear or your belly hurts from laughing or your throat gets dry from singing along. This has to be one of the best kept secrets in Newfoundland.

This is a very special experience. Try to fit it in if you can, it's worth it. Both Sean and Sheldon were great hosts and entertained us with lively music and storytelling. Their hearts are in this. They're keeping some of the culture of Newfoundland alive. Do go!!
