High quality dance instruction and excellent facility. When my daughter expressed an interest in dance, I knew this was the right place. I’d started at SBAD as a 5 year-old and spent a decade receiving exceptional dance instruction - and that’s true today as well. My daughter is in her fourth year now. Good teachers can make all the difference in keeping littler kids interested and motivated while building a solid foundation of technique. Not only has she enjoyed her ballet, jazz and acro classes, she’s really shown development (that she is so proud of) and I find the cost reasonable too. The staff really seem to care about the students. Plus, the end of year performance at a local theatre is something parents and kids enjoy tremendously. I’d highly recommend Sean Boutilier, whether just looking to keep your kids active or if your child expresses a deeper interest in dance.

Not good for 3 years old at all. Half hour class, kids go wild do not obey anyone, until the teacher gets all together is almost time to go home. Too many parents on the week end , it's a mess! My 3 y old granddaughter refuse to go back to that school. Maybe for grow up kids is good.

As someone who has been associated with this Academy of dance for many years, as well as a professional coach in another sport, I truly believe the coaching/instructors here deliver a program worth attending. Not only do children develop strong fundamentals of dance, they also gain lifelong skills of learning how to train, to perform, and to compete.

Well, we have been a part of both the Mississauga and Etobicoke campuses for the past 4 years and our experiences have been exceptional!! The office staff are friendly, knowledgeable, organized, patient and supportive of the tiniest tot to the junior recreational dancer or Senior competitive dancer (which our daughter is) to the novice adult ????????????. As for the faculty, they are experienced, knowledgeable creatives - many of whom currently have or have had professional Dance careers - and who are tremendous mentors/advocates. They not only care about a person’s current Dance needs and their long-term goals but about developing an overall healthy body, mind, spirit balance through the Art and Sport of Dance for their students or ‘family’. Highly recommend their facilities as well - truly, inviting, bright spaces to train and rehearse in!!! ❤️♥️❤️♥️❤️

Being a professional dancer myself for many years I know what is needed to help a young child develop into a strong dancer. When looking for a dance studio for my child, I knew I wanted her dance education to be done right. I found this at Sean Boutillier's School of dance. The knowledge of the teaching staff, combined with the beautiful facility assured me that my child would be in very capable hands. She had been to other studios that did not deliver the attention to detail and also the progressive challenge a dance student should experience each year. Every year my child grows in ability and it is because of the strong instruction found at Sean Boutillier's school of dance. If you are looking for your child to get a great start in the world of dance and live in the west end of Toronto, this is where you need to be.

My eldest daughter (13) has been a student of Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance since she was 3.5 years old, and my youngest (6) since 3 years as well. If you are looking for a studio that will offer your child(s) a fun, friendly, learning environment, then this is the place. Whether your child (s) is in dance for the fitness aspect or more serious, it won’t matter because all levels of classes are excellent, the quality of teachers are top notch, approachable, and the kids love and respect them. I see as a parent what a positive environment this studio has given my children and the friendships developed here so very cherished not only for the kids, but us parents too. The studio offers recreational classes and also a part-time and full time competitive programs. The fees are reasonable, facility excellent. The administration staff are always ready to help no matter what , and don't be alarmed if you call the studio and Mr. Boutilier himself answers the phone, to lend a helping hand. I cannot express enough what an amazing studio this is. RCD

This school is wonderful! A wide and varied schedule, excellent teachers and I love that there are three streams: competitive, recreational, and ballet special training. This is unique in the are (having this ballet option) and for our family, that is a great option. This school can be busy at times, especially weekends with the costco, but it is worth it.

My two daughters have been going to this dance school for the past 5 years for ballet. The only word that comes my mind when thinking about Sean Boutiller is Excellence . The sold out annual shows at Living Arts is just amazing. This proximity to this school is one of the reason why we chose to stay in Etobicoke. The dedication and hard work of the staff to train my kids and everything about this school has been beyond expectation.

After spending most of her dance years at another studio and being scared of changing studio's, the staff at SBAD welcomed her with open arms. I can't say enough good things about the teachers here. My daughter started at Sean Boutilier Academy of Dance 3 years ago. She’s now 7 and I can’t get her to leave ????. She loves the studio and so do we. She’s had Miss Andrea as her jazz teacher since she started and boy do we love her style. Miss Andrea is a firm but loving teacher who has taught my daughter so much about focus and fun in dance. The other teachers are just as great too. The studio takes dance seriously and their year end productions keep us coming back for more. My daughter uses the costumes from the show all year long - Halloween, dress up days. She’s really grown in her approach to dance and I can’t thank them enough. Shout out to Hope at the front desk who is amazing and keeps everything running like clockwork. Mr. Boutilier (Mr. B) is often around and the kids look forward to him observing their performances leading up to the final concert. Keep up the great work SBAD!
