I found them because of their website. I've taken classes with a few instructors from Arthur Murray. They were all very professional, consistent, and customer focused. The classes were a blast. The studio is a growing community filled with energetic people. Great place to have fun and also learn something useful. So glad that i found it. Thumb up!

This review is not regarding the actual dance lessons themselves. It is a WARNING to anyone who is or is thinking about taking classes here, you are at risk of being robbed! My boyfriend and I recently signed up for classes at the Etobicoke studio location. Last Friday, we were there for our second lesson, and we were robbed! When our lesson finished, my boyfriend and I went to go put on our coats and leave, when we realized that my wallet, iphone, and $240 of my boyfriends cash were missing from our jacket pockets!!! I don't know how this managed to happen, considering the coat closet is two feet away from the receptionist. I don't know how someone had the time to search through multiple coat pockets and have no one see them! This is not a large studio, it's actually quite small. When we notified the studio, they didn't seem overly concerned that this had happened. They just kept repeating that in all the years they've been there, this has never happened! Well, it did!! I do know that we no longer feel safe taking lessons there and we will be asking for our money back!!

Since joining Arthur Murray Etobicoke eight years ago with my wife, we have finally found something that we both truly enjoy to do together, made many new friends with similar interests and participated in many, many great social events involving dancing. My name is Barb Love????Smith and I’ve had an interesting life to say the least and I don’t believe in coincidences my skills have allowed me to practice as a registered nurse for many years and thanks to Caryl Warden in Guelph and Arthur murrays Richard Murphy my dancing has helped follow me throughout my career I have symptoms of PTSD and performing anxiety and currently my instructor and I are working on that you see I have an extreme need to try to control the outcome of everything in my life but the following is teaching me to let go Arthur murrays is more than just a dance studio to me throughout the years when I left to raise my children it gave me the strength and the creativity I needed as a single mother to get through the day and I did it backwards in running shoes Arthur murrays has taught me that life isn’t always fair but if you’re stuck doing a shift then you may as well be happy and just dance and by the way dancing is the only sport that lights up every hemisphere of the brain so as far as I’m concerned let’s just dance

From salsa, bachata, swing, tango, waltz and more.. this studio has it all! The staff are always fun and friendly and my fellow students are a blast. I came in a little nervous because I was on my own, but it allowed me to dance directly with my teacher and I was able to learn twice as fast! The groups and parties are amazing as well. I have tried many other studios, and honestly you get what you pay for. Arthur Murray is the Creme de le Creme of dance lessons!

I began my ballroom dancing journey here a few years ago, and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. This special treasure of a place teaches more than dance, it somehow opens you up to blossom with joy and confidence in beautiful expressive ways which are indescribable. I have become quite confident on the dance floor, I must admit !! That is due to the dedication of the incredible professional teachers I have worked with. I used to go in and sit and watch from the side lines hoping that one day I would be able to dance like I am finally doing now. Dance is an expression of the soul . I love this place <3

I joined Arthur Murray Etobicoke 5 years ago. The most difficult step is walking through that door. After that, it is a piece of cake. Do not worry about a partner, they have lots. Everybody is friendly. Prior to Arthur Murray, I took lessons at the local community centre. I did not learn much. At Arthur Murray, you will learn to dance & you will have alot of fun doing it!

I have been coming to Arthur Murray Etobicoke on and off for years. I’ve tried a few other studios and I’ve stuck with this one because of the people in it. They are certainly worth coming in for. You are there with a purpose but it helps to have good company as you do it. People are sociable and it’s a fun learning environment. The only con I can think of is that these are private lessons so those will never be cheap no matter where you go. Having shopped around, the price is comparable with other studios but you’re looking at a significant investment if you’re going to do this over the long term. However, this is balanced out in a few ways. The cost is mitigated because there are free group classes and smaller free events that you can do as long as you’re in good standing. Also the teachers are very good and used to working one on one so you’re certainly getting your money’s worth. They’re observant, patient, and are quality dancers themselves. At the very least if you can’t shell out the money for coming in once a week, you can use it as a supplementary set of lessons that are done once in a while. It’s definitely a recommend, and I say at the very least give it a try.
