Negma is the best teacher!

I highly recommend Negma's belly dance classes to anyone wanting to try something new or has been dancing for a while. They're beginner friendly and a fun way to workout. She has mixed levels though so even if you're experienced already there's something for everyone. Negma has an upbeat personality and classes are always fun and engaging, and very welcoming to anyone new. She offers in person and online classes as well! Can't recommend it enough, very happy I joined.

Negma dance classes are always inspiring and uplifting. A great focus is dedicated to the technique drills and building upon prior knowledge of the dance moves. Her dance style is very grounded, playful and aesthetically mesmerizing.

I learned belly dance for several years while living in Japan, before moving to Vancouver. I joined Negma’s belly dance classes in Vancouver, and found her to be a very focused on making sure the basic techniques are mastered by her students. From this platform, it is possible for students like my self to progress our repertoire of dances. Negma is knowledgeable about the cultures of the countries from which the various schools of belly dance originated, which adds to her ability to convey the meaning of the movements and dances. I miss my classes, maybe I’ll move to Victoria!
