Wonderful experience in every way. My sense of rhythm has multiplied with the Flamenco footwork. Maria is so inspiring and her choreographies are so interesting- I can’t find a single thing she could improve !!!!!

Let's dance Flamenco with Maria. I went to try out Maria's absolute beginner's class about 3 years ago wuth a friend just to try out for a day and see if it's the kind of class I would like. That first day in that class I fell in love with the instructor yes Maria and ofcourse that one hour class of Flamenco Dance my mind was transported elsewhere, watching Maria teach us faster paced Spanish flamenco, with it's hand clapping and foot stomping just charged me and I was drawn in! I am hooked now, I feel a sense of belonging in the class, it is one of my healthy activity. When our class performed to an audience , i was so proud of our group, felt really good. So join Maria's Dance School and set your inner child free and dance like no one is watching.

I’ve taken classes with Maria for many years at all levels! She is such a knowledgeable and experienced dancer and teacher! We are so lucky to have an artist of her caliber here in Halifax! Her school offers so many different classes and opportunities to perform. Flamenco has been my doorway to self-esteem, physical strength and a fun community of people from all generations and parts of the world!
