This year will be my 6th year at Tandem and these past years have been some of the best! Tandem is full of amazing teachers who are trained in many different styles of dance, not only that, they are also the most encouraging, caring and some of the funniest people I have ever met. I have met some of my closest friends at Tandem and I know these are friendships that will last a lifetime! Over the past five years, Erin and Dwight have made Tandem feel like a second home and I cannot thank them enough for that. Coming to dance every night during the year is what I look forward to the whole day. I can honestly say it is my favourite place to be! Tandem has become my second family and I could not love it more!

I'm going into my 5th year at Tandem Studios and I love it. I was at another studio for almost 5 years and I decided to move to a studio closer to my home and friends, and it was the best decision of my life. The staff is incredible and so supportive and I truly love them with all my heart. Before I moved to Tandem, dance was just a hobby, but Tandem Studios has opened my eyes to my true love of dance. Erin and Dwight are incredible owners and leaders at the studio, whenever you have a question they are always there to help, and they really want to see their dancers grow, which I highly appreciate. I have made more improvements and growth in these 5 years than I ever made at my old studio. The most important thing about this studio though is that they not only teach us students to be great dancers, and to push our boundaries, try our best and work hard, but they teach us to be good people, which I think is the tremendous difference between Tandem and other studios. Tandem is an incredible loving family and I highly recommend attending this studio, it changed my life.

IT is my 7th year at Tandem now and I have seen this studio grow into something absolutely amazing! The owner (Erin) is like a second mom to me and all of my teachers are like my best friends! I joined the studio as a part of the rec program, but I have been a member of the competitive team since it started about 4 years ago! No matter what style(s) you choose to take, you will be welcomed with open arms into the amazing Tandem Family. Everyone is so encouraging and I can't imagine my life without this wonderful place!

Tandem is the absolute best dance studio you will ever find. The staff is so welcoming and encouraging. Everyone at this studio has such a positive outlook on everything and they really do care about their dancers and the dancer's parents. If it was not for Tandem Studios, I would not have met the most amazing friends and teachers. While providing a positive and happy environment, both Erin and Dwight have never let me down. I would never even consider joining any other than the Tandem Family Team. Love this studio!!

I've been going to Tandem Studios for fitness for over 5 years and my experience has been so positive. The personal attention that I get, the friendliness of the trainers and the owners and how accommodating they are is amazing. I love going there - I always feel welcome. The fitness classes are challenging and have helped me improve and maintain my fitness levels. The rates are very reasonable and the flexibility in choosing what classes I want to attend really makes a difference for me. I love everything about Tandem.

I've been dancing at Tandem Studios for almost 8 years now, and there's so much to love. Starting off with the teachers, they are super supportive and committed. They give amazing constructive criticism, and choreograph beautiful dances. The office staff are organized, friendly, and really helpful. My teammates are motivating and we push each other to the best we can. Currently during COVID, we are having virtual classes and making the best out of the situation. Overall, I have learned a lot from Tandem Studios and I look forward to improving even more.

I have been going to Tandem Studios for fitness for almost 4 years. It's the best kept secret in the neighbourhood. Awsome fitness instructors. Small class sizes... so more personal attention to your fitness needs. The staff are always friendly and contrary to one review here, Dwight and Erin are the nicest people! They are passionate about their business and they care about their clients and employees. I look forward to many more years of fitness with Tandem. It's the highlight of my day when I'm there!

This is our fourth year dancing at Tandem and it has been a great experience. I have two children, one in the competitive program and one in the recreational program. Both love their classes, teachers, and the general atmosphere at the studio. The director, Erin, and the dance instructors really take the time to know each student, and ensure that they progress with their dance technique in a fun, encouraging, and positive environment. I highly recommend Tandem to anyone looking for a fun and positive dance experience.

Read the owner's recent review!!! How honest of the owner to rate themselves a 5 star! I guess they were worried they couldn't get enough real 5 star ratings!!! Why am I mentioned? Some other poor parent (why do the owner's assume it's a mom?... just sexist I guess) finally decided to speak the truth about this poorly run dance studio. And the owner's decided to respond to us together... Read what they are really saying.... "Dear parent... the problem is that you're upset your child isn't good enough"... they fully ignore all complaints and simply try to explain them away because no way they do anything wrong! I stand by my experience that this dance studio is only concerned about money and their teachers are very sub par. Once again, my strong recommendation is STAY AWAY... no... RUN AWAY!!!! Although they outwardly appear nice, the owners (husband and wife) are vindictive and are money hungry. They don't care about the children... only their business. Expect to be treated poorly and expect many upsells... your child is so good they should do another dance... and oh yeah.. that'll be a few hundred more dollars. They have their obvious favourites (the ones that sign up for the most courses.... pathetic!) We fell for it for one year. My recommendation is run away and look for another dance studio. In response to dwight... I made a new "Dance Dad" gmail account but "Danca Dadda" was as close a google would let me name it. I didn't name myself so my children would not be involved. Typical that his response is attacking rather than attempting to solve any problems. Expect the same if you attend tandem studios.

I have to agree with the other two parents who wrote in on this. My daughter has been going there for 3 years and the owners don't even know who she is. My daughter has no desire to be in the dance troupe. She just like dancing for the fun of it. This is an elitist school geared solely around the dance troupe. The "rest of us" are just income generated to support the troupe. Snobby owners.

The best experience possible! I started dancing here, my mum does fitness here, my little sister and both my little brothers have done classes at Tandem - we all love it. Tandem Studios is an incredibly unique studio with their foundation built upon the love of dance and inspiring kids. I've danced at Tandem since it opened in 2007 and have seen it develop into what it is now. From a single room to 6 beautiful studios on 2 floors, Tandem Studios has expanded quite a bit since I first started. Its success and growth is reflective of its satisfied families and the dedication of its faculty. I owe so much of my growth as a dancer and a person to Tandem Studios. Tandem is an amazing, family run dance studio. We have been clients for over 8 years. We’ve participated in recreational classes as well as competitive. I love that they offer a variety of classes including All Boy’s Hip Hop which my son enjoys. Tandem Studios has given my kids the most amazing opportunities to be a part of not only a team but also a community. It’s become a home away from home for us and we are very grateful to Erin and the Tandem Team.

Love this place! My daughter has been dancing at Tandem Studios for almost two years now, and I couldn't be happier with the service we've received. Everyone behind the desk is so helpful and friendly. Even though my daughter is a recreational dancer and is only there for one class a week, she is still considered part of the "Tandem Family" and is treated that way. It is evident that the teachers and the owners really care about her experience, and I know that this is the reason she looks forward to class so much. It's a positive and enthusiastic environment for any kid to be in. Highly recommended!!

Dear Danca Dadda and Anonymous mom I am very sorry that your daughter did not make the troupe team this year and understand how this can very upsetting. Unfortunately a place on the team cannot be guaranteed year to year for any child regardless of how much we like them personally as acceptance to the team would then lose all value. Feedback is available for the areas the teachers felt needed to be improved upon with your daughter and she is always welcome to come to the studio and talk with the dance coordinator about this so she is not left in mystery as to the reason for the decision. This was in no way a personal decision but a technical one. I would have hoped that you would voice your upset with the decision directly to the studio so that a conversation could have been had and any upset could be handled personally. We wish her nothing but the best in her future endeavors. Tandem Studios

This studio has gone above and beyond in the past year to keep students dancing and connected at a time they need it most. The staff is committed to giving dancers the best experience possible (in-studio and online), which comes as a result of the studio's strong communication with parents and commendable efforts to collaborate with families. We are so grateful to have Tandem in our neighbourhood and so glad our child has been able to stay physically active all year, in spite of the challenging circumstances presented by the pandemic.
