The teachers are friendly, knowledgable and professional. They get through to all the students at all levels, and can manage group classes with various types of students as well as group classes. There has always been a community/family vibe between the staff and students; there are always events going on with various themes, costumes, decorations and snacks; collaboration with the other Arthur Murray studios, competitions, spotlights, showcases; everyone always has a fun learning experience. We dance to every type of music and it is a fun and happy atmosphere all around! I highly recommend it!

What i'm thankful for this year, finding the Arthur Murray Mississauga Dance Studio! I was looking for a fun way to exercise and meet new people and I found that and so much more here. Come dance with a group of instructors who are professional, talented, knowledgeable and really care about getting to know you not just as a student but as a person. There is no judgement, just lots of encouragement, patience and fun. This really is a place where everybody knows your name! I've been dancing here for about 7 months now and I have learned so much and met so many wonderful people. Special thanks to my primary instructor Matthew, who always keeps me positive, motivated and excited to dance. I wanted to do something special for my partner and decided to look into Ballroom Dancing. She has a lot of experience, but I only knew what we had learned together in Drama and Gym class many, many moons ago. When I looked up 'Ballroom Dancing Victoria' on Google, the only name I recognized was Arthur Murray Victoria. I had heard of them before and sent an email inquiry. I heard back from Daniel almost immediately and knew that was a good sign. We went in for a introductory lesson and had so much fun, and learned so much in a short time, we were hooked! We've since signed up for private lessons to start working on our Bronze level and we are having a great time at every one. Both Daniel and Wanda have been fantastic teachers, and lucky me, having a fantastic partner, we've managed to learn the basics for seven dances already! We recently participated in our first Medal Ball and had a lot of fun while we showed off what we had learned for the judges and the other dancers there. Even with the social distancing, masks, and gloves, we also met several people and were able to have a few laughs across the 2 metres between us. It has been a fantastic experience so far, we are getting exercise, finding our rhythm, learning new things, meeting people, and making new friends, I would highly recommend Arthur Murray Victoria to anyone who wants to have fun and learn to dance!

My lifelong dream was to learn how to Waltz. I wanted to look natural and elegant. I am so happy the new Arthur Murray Dance Studio moved into my neighborhood. It was a sign and I jumped at the opportunity. All the Teachers are excellent and the Arthur Murray method breaks everything down to make it easier to learn. When I walk into the studio it lifts my heart and brings out the better me. I have lost weight and gained fitness. The only exercise program I don't talk myself out of. I am now learning many more dances and through out this Covid madness, Daniel has worked his butt off to keep us all engaged. Having fun with Zoom classes and fun contests with great prizes. Lost and Found—and lost! Still reeling from a toxic relationship and divorce of nearly 8 years ago, I had lost myself. Before, I used to be sunny and self-assured, with a careless joie de vivre that comes from enjoying who you are and knowing where you’re going. However, seven months ago, my recovery began when I went to watch my son compete in his first Arthur Murray event—he had started lessons while completing his Master’s. I was very impressed with an instructor’s dancing, and encouraged by his reassurance, walked through those now-so-familiar doors hoping to enjoy the experience of learning ballroom dancing, hoping that somehow this would help me on the road to finding myself again. Since then, I’ve had the indescribable pleasure of learning and excelling in all kinds of dance with my incredibly talented instructors ...the exhilaration is addictive! With a sense of accomplishment, fantastic friends, and opportunities to travel the world (Hawaii or Venice anyone?) with the most wonderful people, that beautiful joie de vivre is back with much more zing than I ever dreamed possible for me. So what could I have I lost? 40 pounds in six months! Imagine actually being addicted to the enjoyment of a social activity that’s creative, mind-engaging, artistic, sensual, where you can feel you’re looking gorgeous, yet you’re not even aware you’re actually exercising and losing weight—fast and easy! Now I drive past those dedicated wintertime—anytime—joggers and feel really good: I’ll never again have that ghastly impotent feeling, “Oh no... I should be doing that!” To write about all the wonderful things I have enjoyed in a short review is impossible: simply let me say that the days when I can’t come to the studio are the dull ones, and I live for the joyful times when I can be at studio or at an event!

We signed up with Arthur Murray back in April, but due to the pandemic couldn't start our lessons until July. We had Carlos as our dance instructor and wow! Not only did he custom make our dance routine for the first dance for our wedding in August, but he checked in with us almost weekly while everything was shut down during lock down. He was incredibly attentive, and listened to every concern or question we had, which weren't many. Starting into this we had zero dance experience, and my husband had been recovering from an accident that injured his left shoulder and collar bone. Carlos made sure our physical limitations were unnoticed by our guests, and our dance was perfect for our wedding! These dance lessons were the most fun part of planning our wedding. We looked forward to every lesson, and will continue to keep this apart of our life in the future.

All of the instructors are kind and welcoming, as is the community of dancers there as a whole. People are of all levels and abilities, all shapes and sizes and ethnicities and everyone is equally welcome. Learning to dance here brings a lot of joy.

A HUGE thank you to Carlos & Irene from Arthur Murray Hamilton. The songs we had chosen for our wedding's grand entrance and first dance was really special to us and we wanted to ensure our dance matched that. Irene and Carlos put together an amazing routine and taught us the choreography. We had zero dance experience coming into this, but they were so patient and helpful. Our wedding was affected by the covid pandemic, and unfortunately that meant our dance classes too, but Carlos did what he could to continue our lessons through ZOOM. It wasn't easy but it worked! In few weeks when the transition of ownership to Lisa and Dmytro happened, changes have been visible. The studio looks brighter and spacious. Gone are the unnecessary fixtures like the organ, easel. Posters and calendars have been colourful which invited readers. The group lessons have been interesting. It's like more gifts are waiting to be opened for more surprises!!!!!!!!!!!!! The first Spotlight under their helm was a "blast". The concept of making the dance floor like a theatrical stage with a red backdrop curtain was INGENIOUS.......Way to go to both Lisa & Dmytro .................................................. This is also an opportune time to give kudos to Ole Olavide for how far I've been in my dancing. He certainly brought a lot of patience for a newbie in me when I first started 3 years ago. His structural methods of teaching paid off that moved me up to the next levels. He incorporated fun during lessons so I can take my mind off when I bungle steps or can't get it. He's a dynamo (hardworking & energetic) teacher. Gracias Ole!

I have been going to Arthur Murray studio for two months and just love dancing there! My main instructor, Matthew, is very knowledgeable and an incredibly talented teacher, as are all of the dance instructors who are so friendly and welcoming. Eight years ago, I suffered a bad car accident, which resulted in a life-changing back injury. I had to give up my job two years ago because the pain was unmanageable, but since joining Arthur Murray I have seen a huge improvement. Dancing has strengthened my inner core and that, in turn, has benefited my back with increased flexibility. I have also lost weight (bonus!), so no regrets. I would recommend Arthur Murray without hesitation to anyone wanting to learn all types of dance; it certainly is a lot of fun and the people there are just great! This is a follow up to my previous review, it's coming up two years since joining Arthur Murray and I have no regrets, dancing has changed my life, after my car accident I never thought I could get back to my normal self again, but dancing has changed all of that, giving me more confidence, flexibility and most importantly I have my life back. Special thanks to my two amazing Instructors Matthew and Ole, who work tirelessly to inspire, encourage and motivate their students and bring out the best in them. Thank you so much to all of the AM Mississauga team of Teachers, you make us feel so special like family; You all are the best.

It's like "a world inside the world" and once you step in you wish to be the part of this world, bright and spontaneous, filled with music and beauty. Our wonderful instructors are not just amazing professionals but also so dedicated and inventive in their work on spotlights or new practice parties; the studio is bright, spacious and stylish; people you meet here are warm, open and positive and make you feel like part of your family. All this creates such a special atmosphere of miracle that can cure any signs of depressions or loneliness - if you have any. Learning to dance at the Arthur Murray Dance Studio has been a wonderful experience for me. Daniel and his staff are excellent instructors and I have had the pleasure of dancing with all of them. If you want to dance but have been unable to because you don't have a dancing partner, this is the place for you. No Partner - No Problem. I appreciate the flexibility available in scheduling lessons. The studio is bright, tastefully decorated and is centrally located with ample parking. When you enter the studio, you see a floor mat that says “Walk in, Dance out" This is exactly what this studio did to me and my wife. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone is a friend.
