If you are looking for a studio for your young dancer you have found the right place! If it wasn't for Ms Jordan's professional teaching style and support my daughter's full potential may have gone unnoticed. Ready to quit ballet altogether Jordan became our daughter's teacher and her love of ballet was reignited and taken to a whole new level. With guidance from Ms Jordan my dancer and her sister were accepted into a professional ballet school. But more than that, they have an appreciation and love of classical ballet, movement, music and artistry that will last a lifetime. No matter if your dancer aspires to dance with a company or for the pure joy of it, having a great foundation is key and you will get that with Calgary West Dance Academy.

I love this studio! My experience with activities in the city, is you have two options, competitive or recreational. The competitive programs tend to be a huge commitment, and recreational is a joke. I had trouble finding somewhere that my kids could learn a real skill without committing to 20 hours a week when you're only 6. My girls ended up doing dance competitions last year, and with no previous dance experience, were on par with their peers, and one of them won in her category. That shows the quality of education they're getting. I really love this place!

Plan-it Sisters

Our girls have been with Calgary West for the past 3 years. They love the friends they have made, and love going to all the classes. You never have to ask them twice to get ready for dance! The instruction is top notch, as seen by how well the girls did on their exams this year. All the music, costumes and choreography are age appropriate, which is really important to us with two girls under 10. And it is fun, which is really important to our girls!
