Creative Edge is not simply another dance studio. It's a second family. If you are looking for a studio that promotes a pretentious, "me first" approach among dancers and parents, please look elsewhere. If you are looking for a supportive environment for your child/teen where respect for others and self-confidence are built into the business plan, you can't go wrong with Creative Edge! Pretty much anyone can setup a studio and bring in highly qualified instructors, etc. It's the positive culture that sets Creative Edge apart from many of the others. Yes, the instruction is top-notch for both recreational and competitive groups,. However, it is the underlying values at the core of the operation that positions Creative Edge Dance Studio as the top choice for families in the Burlington / Halton area.

Pulled my son out of the hip hop class after the instructor was repeatedly late. Creative Edge refused to refund the remaining 8 months. Poor service. Very disappointing. I found a dance studio with dedicated staff and instructors that had integrity. I even had issues obtaining my tax receipt. I would not recommend this dance studio. A De Vos

Instruction is great both my kids love it here. The problem is this place is a complete mess. Kids leave all their shoes at the front entrance and at the bottom of the stairs causing a large tripping hazard. There are shoe racks however no one is encouraging or enforcing the dance students to put their shoes away properly. You literally have to kick shoes out of the way to make it up the stairs. To add to this when I left after my daughters dance lesson there was literally twice as many shoes as the picture shows. On the second floor there is old food scraps and wrappers everywhere and again no one is encouraging the kids to clean up after themselves and the staff is too busy socializing to do it for them. One staff member literally stepped over the wrapper on the floor 6 times and not once thought it would be a great idea to pick it up.

I've now danced here for 7 years and I have had no complaints. Moving into the competitive program 5 years ago was amazing! I was welcomed with open arms and met amazing groups of kids. I have learned and improved in 8 plus dance styles and have competed them as well. Teachers care about our health and how we can keep our body from getting injured as dancers are practically prone to injury. Dancers from creative edge have gone on to be recognized for work-ethic and overall abilities at conventions and competitions. I highly recommend considering to try and join the program! You will have NO regrets! And that's coming from someone who has spent half their life there!!

Great dance studio full of teachers and coaches who care so much about their dancers! The owner Caitlin is so caring and hard working!! I would recommend this dance studio to anyone who is looking for a studio where their kid(s) can develop their skills and be apart of a great community.

Great teachers and vibe! Actually care about the students - not just winning. They do great at competitions - but people are more important. Studio is big, bright and airy. Great place for recreational or competitive dancers.

Beyond dirty! My daughter enjoyed her time there, but talk about dirty. And not this "oh its our dancers second home" dirty like in the other review replies, but we are talking not cared for at all. Loose improperly installed laminate floors that constantly slide around, large pieces of wood and construction materials just left in the training room. Not just once in a while, every week for months and months. Pieces of garbage, food and hairclips on the ground. Do they every own a vacuum here? Not safe for toddlers to be running around. I can only speculate on the bathrooms being cleaned. I'm sure never. Pretty sure the problem is the instructors are mostly or all volunteers and honestly no longer even care to attempt at any sort of building care or cleanliness. Just sad really. You pay a good amount for your kids to go there and just makes the whole experience bad. I'm not even talking about the outside of the building or horrible broken parking lot!

My daughter has been dancing at Creative Edge Dance Studio since it first opened over 10 years ago. She loves this studio so much – it is her second home and her favourite place to be. We never thought that a dance studio would have such a positive impact on our lives. We started out as most families do, looking for recreational dance classes for our kids but that soon changed into a genuine love for dance! Cait and her amazing staff of choreographers are passionate, dedicated professionals who have taught my daughter not just about dance but helped shape the confident, dedicated young woman that she is today. This past year has been very challenging for both the dance studio and the dancers. Unable to be together with her competitive team members and lifelong friends, has certainly caused many tears and sadness for my daughter. If it wasn't for Creative Edge and the dedication to continue dance through Zoom classes, to ensure all the dancers stay connected and engaged, has meant the world to my daughter and to us! If you are looking for a dance studio that is compassionate, caring and dedicated to their dancers, please consider giving Creative Edge a try!

They are so unprofessional, they lost all the awards, ribbons and certificates my two daughters awarded at competitions, and didnt even bother explaining.:( My daughter named "Angelica" and got special award certificate in one comoetitions, now the Creative Edge says "maybe cleaning lady threw them out"???? Unbelievable!!They don't have any regards to the parents, nor students. During classes always so much chatting going on between teachers and the owner. My biggest mistake is registering my daughters to this very unprofessional dance school, after attending 3 years Burlington Dance Academy, very disappointed.

What a great facility! When we walked in the space is open, lots of windows and bright colours it was so inviting. The staff was also amazing they were very kind and welcoming to my daughter. Overall we had a great experience and will be back. The staff are certified and care about each student.

No surprise this was voted the best dance studio in Burlington every year since it opened. The owner, Cait, is fantastic and hires the best instructors. They are top for acrobatics, hip hop and contemporary. The studio is big and clean, with 4 or 5 dance rooms, lounge, showers, homework area, etc. They really care for the kids and believe in advancing each dancer so they can reach their potential. Is like a welcoming family.

My daughter has attended their summer camp for the last two years, she absolutely loved it and still remembers and does the dances she learned regularly. We were impressed by their protocols as well and felt safe attending.
