My family has been part of Westshore Dance Studio since it’s inception, involving both learning and teaching dance. Westshore Dance Studio is a community of dancers and families that work hard together and have so much fun! The studio has been such a positive influence for so many. I would certainly recommend this school to anyone interested in dance!

I can't say enough great things about this studio! I danced here for nearly 20 years, and can safely say that I was at the studio more than I was at my own house! I was able to receive credits towards high school graduation for the examinations I completed here. I was also able to obtain my certification to teach in both Modern and Tap Dance thanks to the wonderful teachers at this school. If you want a dance school that actually cares about your kids (both their dance life and what they might be dealing with at home/school, etc.) look no further than Westshore Dance Studios! Excellent productions put on every year, great instructors, a wonderful variety of styles that are taught at all ages. They have also adapted excellently towards the ongoing pandemic, so everyone can feel safe while doing what they love. I can't recommended this school enough - you will gain a dance family for life by coming here!

I’ve been lucky enough to call Westshore dance studios my second home for 13 years. It has brought so much joy and growth into my life. It is a very safe and friendly environment where anyone is welcome to come and dance. I’m so glad I’ve gotten the opportunity to dance with such amazing girls and be taught by teachers that care about you personally and your dancing. Thank you so much Westshore!

We hadn’t re-enrolled yet had paid for dance costumes. During COVID we were unable to pick up the costumes until later. Upon meeting the owner to pick up the costumes curb side outside the store the owner felt it necessary to inform us there was TWO DOLLARS owing on the 2 costumes ( but she wasn’t going to worry about it)”!!! Be warned!

My daughter went to this dance studio and unfortunately did not receive quality instruction for the 6 months she attended prior to Covid. The 45 minute classes she attended were supposed to be 45 minutes of instruction (ballet and modern) however much of the time was spent checking in with fellow dancers and discussing how their day/week was rather than dancing. It seemed that socializing and telling stories was a big part of each class and only about 15 minutes were actually spent dancing. Very disappointing for my daughter who was eager to learn! We will not be returning to this dance school. Not worth the money we paid and a waste of time.

I grew up at Westshore Dance Studios, and I can safely say that the life lessons and character building I gained through this school has been an invaluable asset in my success as an adult. Team work, learning to embrace criticism, respect for others, and how to achieve my goals were all things that were taught to me during my time with WDS. The instructors and fellow dancers became my second family, and I know that I will have lifelong connections and friendships due to the efforts put in by the instructors to make the studio a safe and positive environment. I applaud Debbie and co for continuing to weather this pandemic and putting the kids health and happiness first, as always.

Westshore Dance Studios have been a big part of my families life for the last 8 years. My daughter started taking two classes the first year and just wanted to do more and more styles of dance based on her positive experiences there. The teachers are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. Every spring they put on an incredible recital! Every year I am impressed by how much thought they put into the class schedule as they try to make it work best for families. I can’t wait for another year at WDS!

This studio has always been my second home. The teachers and students are incredible! My family has been dancing with Westshore for over 20 years and I wouldn’t want it any other way. My girls have been dancing at Westshore for over 16 years, we live downtown now but still continue to commute because of their love for the studio and the teachers. This studio is like their second home and they have been fortunate to learn all the dance styles offered by the studio. The studio even put on a year end recital with COVID 19 so a DVD could be recorded for the parents as nobody was able to watch due the numbers of dancers participating and 50 person max rule. Well done Westshore Dance - looking forward to many more years with my girls dancing.
