My son doesn’t really like doing extra activities outside of school and learning in new group environments are pretty tough for him, but the instructors here are extremely patient, thoughtful, and understand that all kids are individuals. I definitely can see that the instructors are passionate about dance and are always putting their students best interest above everything else.

This place takes ballet dancing seriously. The six studios are designed so that students and teachers are in isolated spaces, but family can keep watch via closed circuit TV in the waiting room. This really helps keep participants focused on dancing without distractions, while still allowing mom and dad to see the fine work.

My boy really enjoyed his experience at dance camp. He learned hip hop, jazz, tap and ballet. He loves the program and the instructors. He had a lot of fun and excited going to camp everyday. And the final performance was very impressive！ Will definitely register for more classes in September！

We are new to The Landing, but the staff there has been so helpful and welcoming that we already feel part of the community. I had a concern about a policy and was hesitant to bring it up since I'm not comfortable with conflict and didn't want to alienate my kids' new studio, but they were incredibly responsive and quickly addressed my concern to my complete satisfaction. They are thoughtful and kind in how they go about their work, and their dance training and choreography can't be beat. UPDATE: Providing fantastic programming even at a distance during the Covid pandemic. Everything's super well organized and designed which I would not have expected during these unprecedented times. Just goes to show how responsive and on the ball they are here.

Such a great environment! Lots of studio space and great facility! Lovely instructors and a very welcoming and cozy place! Great for dancers who are wishing to excel and expand their knowledge or even those who just want some dance moves and a beat to dance to!

My partner signed us up for an adult tap class. I am a somewhat socially awkward person. Summing up all of my courage, I walked in the door of the studio and immediately was greeted with a smile and a hello. The staff/instructors were jovial and encouraging. I immediately started to feel my anxiety melt away. The energy in the studio is one of a nurturing family. I wont be hitting broadway with my tap moves, but I am a better person for the experience. Thank you.

Having never taken dance lessons as a child, I've started attending adult lessons at the Landing. The teachers are extremely helpful and support me learning at my own pace. I have taken tap, ballet and contemporary classes which are geared to accommodate different levels of experience. The studio facilities are gorgeous and don't worry, the TV monitors in viewing area are turned off during adult classes!

I've seen several times, the owner yell at her staff. I understand frustration and if employees make mistake, but to yell at your staff in front of customers, children/parents is very unprofessional. The staff look very sad and dont look like they stand up for themselves.

The Landing Dance Centre has turned out to be the best possible dance training experience I could ever imagine. They have delivered on all that they promise and more, a friendly environment, hands on training, caring instructors, and an amazing array of local dance opportunities. Training at The Landing has left me with an exceptional amount of knowledge in all aspects of being a performer while having the best time of my life. If you are looking for a studio to provide excellent technical training in a wide range of genres while allowing you to express your creativity and passion for the art form of dance, then this is the place for you.

Why does this place have such high turnover in staff? Both faculty and admin! It is very confusing and makes my child very uneasy as they are always seeing new faces working at reception and always new teachers, she is never able to get used to staff here. Sad, as the facility is quite nice, but there is no space for kids to put bags and coats away. Always pile up near studios. I feel like they do not care about quality of service and always new new new. I will find a studio next year with more stability that cares more about quality and what we want instead of new ways to take money. There is mandatory “uniforms” for all dancers now and seems like they only want more of our money. I don’t think they listen to what parents and kids want at all. And no refund if your child does not want to dance here anymore because of too many new teachers. Not good place.
