During my 8 year old daughter's first time here I thought that maybe she would feel out of place but she fit right in. The teachers are great and it's very welcoming. I saw different ages and skill levels in different rooms. I'm excited to have my daughter involved in such a cool place!

Kidsworld Program

We love Boogaloo Dance! Anita has welcomed Kidsworld families into her dance studio several times to try out classes, graciously and generously hosting us! She cares deeply for the people and the quality of the dance programs. Her teachers are incredible and kids absolutely love the classes! We totally recommend it!

My daughter and wife have been dancing at Boogaloo Academy for few years now. We first picked the studio because of its convenient location and parking, But we continue to come back every year because of how amazing this studio is. The owners of the studio, Anita and Jheric are the most passionate and kind people who believe that every person and every child should have access to dance education. They have formed a non for profit organization called A Star Society that supports at risk youth and low income families with tuition. They have helped so many kids with a chance of having high quality dance classes that otherwise would not be accessible. My daughter has been dancing at the studio for few years now and her passion and love for dance has grown so much that this year she joined the competition group. Her teachers are inspiring and love sharing their passion for dance. My wife loves taking adult hip hop classes and loves sharing this passion with our daughter. Overall the studio is welcoming, and provides flexibility and wide range of classes for any age and level. We are super happy to be part of this great community.

Boogaloo Academy is by far "the" place to bring your child to learn dance. The programs are excellent in all divisions,from new to dance to their Elite competitive dance crews. Boogaloo teachers care deeply for the individual.The teachers are some of the best in the industry in Western Canada.My daughter is in their comp.team and loves the teachers, support , positive energy, and respect each and everyone exudes. They have workshops given by industry leaders visiting from L.A to NYC And keep up with current demands with the best possible training , dance styles out there . If you want a high quality dance school, great teachers, beautiful modern studio, friendly vibes, competition crews that are really going places on the up and up ,or a recreation program all with a strong anti bullying mandate .Boogaloo academy is where its at by far.

My daughter and I have been dancing at Boogaloo for many years. There are great classes for all ages. About 5 years ago, I was inspired to join the adult hip hop class and was instantly hooked. I look forward to my dance class all week. Our teacher Jheric is fantastic. We can't believe how much we have improved and how much fun we have learning new choreography and dancing to great music. The studio also puts together an annual year end performance showcasing all the amazing dancers (adults and kids) and their hard work. The show is very well put together and the dancing is amazing. I would highly recommend this studio for any style of dance. It's a wonderful community.

My kids have been dancing at Boogaloo since they were 3 and are now 10 and 12. The environment and quality of the teachers is second to none. The studio is bright and new with large viewing windows and quality sprung floors. The common area is welcoming, bright and often filled with dancers working on homework, sharing meals and non booked studio space is open for dancers to practice. We have had several new families join the studio recently, who have shared how unique our studio environment is and are so impressed by the community of dancers and families and often stay to socialize. I have no hesitation in recommending Boogaloo.

Boogaloo Academy is the most amazing dance studio in Vancouver ( and we tried few prior to dancing there) . My daughter has been dancing at Boogaloo for number of years and her passion for dance and skills have grown tremendously. The teachers are skilled and their passion for dance is contagious. Unlike other dance studios Boogaloo gives students flexibility to try different classes to make sure their skills and abilities as well as schedule are met. The culture at Boogaloo is that of acceptance and community. Every child matters there. The level of passion the owners show for their studio shows in every way. From child to adult , you will find a class there that will make you want to dance.

All the instructors clearly have a passion for teaching and dance which is reflected in the way they teach and interact with each student. The director of the studio, Anita, is absolutely incredible. The environment she has helped nurture at the studio has myself along with others coming back year after year.

This is our 2nd year with Boogaloo. My daughter enjoys every moment of it. Convenient location. Bright classroom with big viewing window which facilitate parents viewing. Experienced and caring teachers who help students to overcome their shortcomings in order to excel in various dance genres. In particular, I love the way the ballet teacher teaches students to do proper form by posing their body and shaping their legs individually. I really appreciate this teacher's extra effort as she knows each kid has different body-build which requires different attention. My daughter has hyper-extension at her joints. Thus, she benefits a lot from this training as proper posing is very important to avoid getting hurt. We have no problem recommending Boogaloo.

We have been coming here since 2015 and absolutely love it. The staff truly care about their dancers and the families. The teachers are top notch and all the events they host are super exciting for both the kids and adults. Best dance school in Vancouver, hands down!!!
