My experience at dance discovery has been amazing. I love all my teachers and friends. I love them so much I call them my family. Since 2007 (when I switched to Dd) i have learned how to be confident in myself. I also learned how to do ballet, pointe, jazz, acro, contemporary/modern, and lyrical.

In the beginning Dance discovery offered a 1st month free if you registered before a specific time, which we had. Of course we got charged. Upon calling for almost 2 weeks we had no response back by them. Also, it was a very judgy feely vibe coming from the student-teachers, bragging about how they were on mini bop kidZ. In the beginning when you sign up, you get no phone call or e-mail telling you when your dance class is when it starts etc. You'd think they'd be a little more proactive about it, but they're not. Instead you have to search for your own answers. In conclusion to this rating, I strongly dislike dance discovery and do not reccomend it to anyone. Also, please consider getting a working phone, where someone is on track of answering voicemails and returning calls. We got into a veichle accident and was not able to just drive to deliver the news. Signing up for DD has been a huge inconvenience. Also - for 20 minutes at the kinderdance all they did was stretch, why am I paying $40 a month for that? 20 minutes 1 day a week to stretch? Really? Oh and you have to stay in a circle and not be able to interact with anyone without getting dirty looks.

Not impressed. If you pay for anything, don't expect any sort of reimbursement. They'll give you reasons but there's nothing about making the customer happy with their services. I'm not Umi, and respect our confidentiality by not saying our names in the web. We paid for November, and we had 2 weeks left. Yet you crossed my daughter's name out and told us there's no point in her attending the remaining weeks. Go ahead and give reasons, but if you don't honor a business in customer satisfaction then you ain't valid in my opinion. We paid for your services, not for you to dictate how we should do things your way to make it work for you.

Our daughter has been a part of Dd for 9 years. She has always thoroughly enjoyed all of her classes and is very fond of all of her instructors. We have found the staff and instructors to be very friendly, encouraging, respectful, knowledgeable and fun. Looking forward to next season!

High quality dance instruction, clean/organized facility, creative award winning choreography, beautiful costumes & positive life long memories! Continuous love & spirit of dance for my daughter who's been dancing there for 6 years. Increased confidence, flexibility, strength, social/leadership skills, creativity & supportive/encouraging opportunities/experiences! Extremely disappointed with the hip-hop instructor. I would not recommend this class, it was a waste of money. My child would benefit more from watching a video at home.

Very nice school for kids to learn confidence by dancing. The waiting / sitting area are not comfortable though for parents waiting for their kids... needs cushion to those wooden sitting area please!

Worse dancing school ever. Both receptionist and dance instructor (Genenne) are rude and have no respect to parents. We are paying big $$ for our kids to enjoy and have fun and the least we should get in return is a professional service and respect from their staff. You basically pay for the whole year, otherwise we would have cancelled our membership. They are very fast and efficient in taking your money and what you get in return is far less than average. Ms. Genenne (hip hop/ballet) instructor is truly a nasty person with lack of sympathy and compassion. Her performance is very poor and her attitude towards kids and parents is totally unacceptable. Every time you try to engage in a small conversation or inquire about any dance related issues, you are faced with an attitude. She full of herself and enjoys dictating people and has no problem embarrassing anyone in public. She also very defensive and judgmental and won't accept critics. I will never sign up with this low level dancing school again. There's lots of good dancing academies with great people and helpful customer service. People who actually listen and respect both kids and parents. STAY AWAY from Dance Discovery. They don't deserve you hard earned money.

My daughter has danced with Dance Discovery for 10 years now. There are many things that we absolutely love about the studio; the teachers are fantastic, the choreography is award winning, and the costumes are always beautiful and age appropriate. In the past couple of years, the studio is really focusing on creating a sense of team between the different levels of dancers and we are enjoying it even more.

The studio is beautiful, huge and immaculate. They are very organized and the instruction is high quality. Competition season is fun and brings lots of high scores and awards! There is a great "team atmosphere" and all of the dancers are very supportive of one another. My daughter has loved dancing here for the last 8 years!

My daughter Mia has been going to this dance studio for almost 9 years and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this studio. The owner is beyond amazing and goes above and beyond in every way. she is organized and so passionate when she teaches the students that I have watched my own daughter grow up at this studio having such positive experiences that I truly feel she will carry with her forever. She always brings out the best in all the students and genuinely loves them all and cares about their experience every single day and puts her 1000% in. not only has my daughter learnt and is still learning to become her own unique dancer, she has grown here with new friendships and looks forward to going to dance class every single day. All of the teachers at this studio are amazing and passionate and bring positivity and their own experiences that they give to all their students. This studio is by far the best dance studio and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a dance studio!
